  1. I've just always viewed it as the rest section for the guys, especially Rob. He said in his last chat that Rebellion is the hardests to play when it is in the middle of the set so that's another reason why it got moved to the front for this tour. Plus, Nine Inch Nails had a similar thing a few tours ago when there was a slower section in the middle, with parts that were basically acoustic.
  2. Until that gets cancelled too
  3. http://lplive.net/shows/db/mikeshinoda/20091119 "Passenger" is the name of the song, not "Passengers"
  4. This is just like the Tucson show last year - new setlist and it takes us a whole week to agree on Show Notes. History repeats.
  5. Change the Burn It Down notes while you're at it, there was no extended outro.
  6. Yeah that's definitely Fallout (or at least a redone synth from it which I still count) being played underneath DTB, because that is also in D minor since it leads into The Catalyst. Mike and Chester should have said "one" as they began BID there. The chorus vocals of DTB over the Fallout synth don't fit very well, so they should just do a full version of it. If that version is also in G Minor, they could mash it up or perform it with ALTNC which is in the same key.
  7. Chester sounds awesome on ALITS, Mike sounds better than the first time. Waiting to see DTB.
  8. I love how you are making so many contributions and keeping this thread alive, but other people need to make actual contributions too. I added "Fuck" so now I'm pretty sure I have the first four pages done other than making an "Other" section if there are enough. If anyone thinks of random connections like the ALITS/Rebellion one, feel free to mention it, as far-fetched as it may be!
  9. Oh that makes a bit of sense, I thought you were referring to the guns in both lyrics
  10. What's the connection between ALITS and Rebellion?
  11. I'm never gonna get caught up on these XD I just got Kiq's March 28 post, except for the Victimized/Dedicated and Victimized/WFTE connections. Maybe I'll make a section for "Other" or connections if there are more examples to add.
  12. That was a random one off show and since LP wasn't advertised to play that meant there wouldn't be hardcore LP fans there, so they had to play their singles and most popular songs (in other words, What I've Done and New Divide) so casual listeners would know them.
  13. Yeah they performed it the first time at 190 BPM instead of the album version of 200 (so it was 5% slower).
  14. I added Darker Than Blood because we are counting ALTNC, and I got the rest of that last post. Now I'm done with school and I can get more of these done. Formatting is just annoying as hell.
  15. APFMH had an extended intro in 2012 and that was more or less just the outro, so it makes the most sense that we just call it " Papercut (2015 intro)"
  16. After a third viewing, I'll say a few more things on ALITS: Brad is driving ahead of his headlights on that solo for a few parts. The tapping was a little fast at first, but he fixed it. At the end Mike looked a lot like I would after giving a presentation in HS... Destroyed and glad for it to be over. Chester slowing it down on the final scream at the end is an awesome touch to it. And as for the tempo debate, it depends who you would rather have struggle more: Mike and Chester will have to hold notes for longer if it is slower, but it is easier on Brad and Rob. The other way around if it is faster. I guess Astat just feels the way about this song that I did about Rebellion debuting, I didn't want to hear that unless it was flawless either.
  17. Either way, I'm surprised they used it at the middle of the show
  18. Calm down Astat, I think ALITS sounds great. I didn't even notice the tempo change, its only 5% slower and it still sounds good because it's already a fast song. Yeah, Mike's rap part is where it slows down a bit, but the jam session bridge is awesome and Chester keeps the crowd ready. I've been saying for a while that this is possibly their best song and its made for the stage and I'm glad it translated well.
  19. It could also be just because they played ALITS for the first time that it was a bit slower. But then again, if they used click tracks or the samples were slower, then maybe it was intentional and might stay that way
  20. For the first show of the season (kinda like the Tuscon show this time last year), it was pretty cool, but I'll wait until the full setlist debuts. ALITS was really good for the first time, not too many problems: Mike sounded good at first and his keyboard intro was good, but he got bad at the outro. Chester was flat when he came in on the harmony but he was good at the end of that and did a great job for the choruses, always full of energy. On the last chorus they messed up the lyrics. Brad did a good job on that tough solo and it looks like he changed it a bit, he sounded a little sloppy though. I couldn't tell anything wrong with rob's drumming. The Papercut intro sounds awesome, a little bit of ambience added to a heavy intro. Hope that stays, wheter Papercut remains a show opener or not.
  21. FUCKING ALITS YES!!!! I caught it just after Mike finished his first part by himself and it was good for a debut. Mike's singing will get better, Chester sounds awesome, Rob is insane, and Brad is doing a good job, he played around with the solo and did a great job at the end. The guitar effects sound a little weird nut that will probably change. I won't comment on the rest until after it has come but for now i'm going to bed
  22. Now that you mention it, that could be it, it looks like Mike is playing a D powerchord on that SG
  23. Probably, I cannot imagine a way for it to transfer live better than ALITS. Sure, ALITS is a harder song to play, but a few fuckups on the instruments are better than hearing 20% of the song on playback and not flowing well.
  24. A little heavy handed on the technology there, Mike. Looking forward to what FM has coming.
  25. That looks like a poster to a sitcom of three buddies trying to start a band. This summer, FOX presents: XERO
