Im just saying that there are places that deserves a show more than russia, i mean you made it sound like they had it so shit compared to, for example Lithuania or Sweden. And what was the part about no LP show in sonisphere sweden ? Something new i should know?

Today Slipknot got confirmed for the Metaltown festival in Sweden.

Come on guys, leave Slipknot alone, you cant really judge them because you dont know them. And i know what you are thinkin, they are not playing one show together during this tour. But thats because they only want 1 big band per show. And about Slipknot not doing even one show in Sweden, is because Metaltown have been talking about getting them to play at their festival for a long long time. Its actually the most voted band on the festival website! Right after is Rammstein, haha. And i though that the frat party footage with Mr.Hahn and Sid Wilson (DJ of Slipknot) scatched some vinyls or w/e was at Ozzfest 01 ? So lets not jump to conclusions too early. I just talked with one of the managers of Hultsfred festival, check out the email yourself: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey Alex. Linkin Park has not been available for Hultsfred this year, as they will do some dates on Sonisphere. So they are not booked at Hultsfred. The Linkin Park follows with Sonisphere to Sweden is not clear yet. But it is the chance we have to get them this year. So we can always hope. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I translated it with google translator, so the grammar is a bit poor. But its pretty much saying that IF they are playing in Sweden (LP) it wont be during the Hultsfred festival, but with Sonicsphere. Then again they could play at another festival, but i doubt that. If you have a look at the sonicsphere Swedish section, the line-up is still not done, and it will take another few weeks(acording to the site) for the bands to get announced. And since Slipknot is pretty much confirmed for Metaltown (Swedish festival in gothenburg) Linkin Park is pretty much confirmed for Swedens Sonicsphere.

There are a lot of reasons why there are no dates for Linkin Park in Germany, Sweden etc etc. 1. Most of the festivals have had their "exclusive" releases done now. Example: Rock am ring announced Slipknot, Hultsfred announced The Killers. When festivals have announced their big exclusive/whatever bands, the big bands wont get announced untill March or April. 2. The festival is a week after Hultsfred, which only gives LP a bigger reason to play there. 3. Maybe they will announce LP for the sonisphere festival for the other countries later. But in general, its a time game. In march/april or earlier, you will see that more dates will get anounced with LP for rest of Europe, with or without sonisphere. There are plently of festivals for LP to play.

This is crazy! Lets hope for the best with Sweden and Denmark, its about time i get to see them! (Linkin Park that is). Great that Slipknot is confirmed for Roskilde already, they got a bunch of new tour dates on their official website, im probably going to Roskilde and the upcoming date for Sweden.

It could be true, most festivals announce big bands early for the "exclusive" sake of it. It can take a while before the band confirms it, you know. And the date goes perfect with the Hultsfred festival this year. I still dont belive the album is gonna be out already tho, just beacuse they are touring does not mean the album is done.

Im gonna buy the LPU8 package in jan/feb, dont got any money right now. The LPU8 video was good as all the other videos. Hopefully they will take a break from the album and play in europe for the summer as phoenix hinted, yes. And i think we can be positive about the new album releasing 2009.
