  1. I get the feeling the band takes a lot of feedback from crowd reaction. For example, on the LT tour, the newer songs got a pretty good reaction. LITE, BID, LGM, COG, and Victimized definitely seemed to get the crowd pumped up. The cycle for THP, however, has had the opposite effect. The crowd just doesn't know any of the newer songs, at least in the US, which probably plays a role in why they were dropped. Guilty was an anticlimactic opener solely because the crowd didn't get into it all that much. The hardcore fans loved it, but that's really it. That was the case for pretty much all the songs from THP that they tried to play. Wastelands and Final Masquerade get the best reactions, from what I've seen, and that's why they're still around. So, the band probably has the mentality of "Why bother learning these new songs when they'll blow up for Numb or Faint?", and rightfully so. The remaining songs from THP would be somewhat difficult to pull off live, especially when compared to the simpler shit from the early albums. I mean, we complain about the Ballad Medley on here all the time, but the crowd fucking loves it. Why would they drop that when they know 90% of the people who go to shows love it for Mark The Graves, a song that I guarantee you only 5% of the crowd would get excited for? Is there a better balance they could find? Absolutely. Hell, I'm the self-proclaimed "Setlist Master", and I've found tons of ways to improve the set by maintaining shit the crowd loves and incorporating new shit. But, I don't think the band wants to put that effort in anymore. There's also Chester's voice to consider, especially since 3/4 of the remaining THP songs they didn't play would be really hard on him. I'm pretty sure his voice is the reason stuff like Robot Boy and Joe's Solo, both of which get little reaction, are still being played. They give Chester a break. I'm also sure Brad not wanting to learn the songs plays a role, since all four of the remaining THP songs are actually relatively difficult on guitar by LP standards. I'm sure singles will be the staples of the setlist. I wouldn't be surprised if, starting with LP7, the band played only the singles from the album. Hell, they pretty much did that with THP. ALITS was, technically, the only non-single to be played, since Wastelands was a promotional single.
  2. I want you to take a look at my member title. That should explain it a bit
  3. ...me? I've been making that comparison for a LONG time.
  4. I really want to hear MOTD, now, if it's real. If it was mentioned, I don't remember it, and it's not in the Song Info thread.
  5. Don't we know the working title of FM was Drawbar? I'd say that probably rules out any of those other titles being FM. The Hunt being The Summoning seems about right, and Viserion being one of the jams with Morello would fit, especially given at least one of the jams was heavier, which that name would imply. March Of The Dead is probably a track that didn't make the cut.
  6. Great post, Skipees. Yeah, it made the album. It was called Don't Stay
  7. I'm inclined to believe China does grasp that to an extent. Bleed it Out has a lot of lyrics throughout the verses that are along those lines, but it wasn't banned. If China didn't grasp the concept of not taking lyrics at face value, I guarantee you Bleed it Out would have been banned in 2009. Tone says a lot about the message of a song, and Keys gives off a vibe of just fucking around and having fun, whereas Given Up doesn't.
  8. The lyrics could be interpreted in a way that the Chinese government didn't like. The whole chorus and bridge, for example, could "stir some shit" to rephrase my friend Chris. It certainly isn't a song that's akin to either BIO or KTTK in a "fun jam" sort of way. It's a more serious song.
  9. I'm pretty sure you're right. The politically charged or, as you called them, "shit-stirring" lyrics is what'll get a song banned, not swearing. Swearing just gives them another reason to do so. Hence, why I assume GU, WAK, and Rebellion will be banned, and why KTTK and BIO will be allowed.
  10. I really don't think profanity is the sole reason Given Up and Hands Held High were banned. Bleed it Out was allowed, and that has swearing too.
  11. I actually also do want this. Only because it's one of the few LP songs we don't have a proshot-quality recording of.
  12. Well, this was, more than likely, submitted sometime in January, so they were still playing the Mashup Intro.

  14. Dude. You're fucking awesome. That's actually really interesting to see. London being the number one city for LP was really shocking. I thought for sure it'd be Vegas or LA.
  15. I am 99% sure some songs will be banned, unless you know something I don't. GU, Rebellion, and Wretches are the most likely candidates, which would eliminate Mike's Medley, too. Mike will probably do the version of RTN he did live with FM, and the band will play APFMH and/or WY in place of Given Up. Keys is a possibility, though. That's actually a very good point. Small stuff like The Requiem, The Catalyst, Robot Boy, and Blackout were on there, meaning they probably had to ask for every snippet of a song they plan on using. Not asking for UIB might just mean no Apaches on this tour.
  16. Just about to link that video, JZ.
  17. He just really wants it
  18. If that's the songs that are allowed, stuff like WAK, GU, and Rebellion is really surprising to make the cut. Or is that the songs the band wants approved? If so, Keys, huh? This list is every song played on the cycle minus the HT songs from Download and plus KTTK, so this is probably the songs the band wants approved.
  19. What you two are probably looking for in terms of "ATS era demo that was shortened for LT, but was better in long form" is Tinfoil, the original demo for Powerless.
  20. Damn. The batteries are dead. Allow me to fix that
  21. You can dream. Notice how mine didn't have any instrumentals? All I'm saying is that, no matter how much we want them to, they will always release instrumentals on LPU too. Unless they go back to the 6 track EPs with 3 demos and 3 live tracks, then it will always be a mix of instrumentals and demos w/ vocals.
  22. Well, we're gonna get instrumentals. They need to make sure they have demos for future releases.
  23. 1. Thanksgiving (Until It's Gone Demo) 2. Until It's Gone (M. Shinoda Remix) 3. Until It's Gone (Steve Aoki Remix) 4. Until It's Gone (Remix 3) 5. Until It's Gone (Remix 4) 6. Until It's Gone (Remix 5) 7. Until It's Gone (Remix 6) 8. Until It's Gone (Remix 7) 9. Until It's Gone (Remix 8) 10. Until It's Gone (Remix 9) Really, though: 1. Thanksgiving (Until It's Gone Demo) 2. Misc. ATS Demo 3. Soft THP Demo 4. Dingleberry (WTCFM Demo) 5. Folk STB Demo 6. 1999 Demo 7. Fire In The City 8. Original Iridescent 9. In Between Demo 10. Mike Vocal of Final Masquerade
  24. Dylan, your Blackout (FIFA) lyrics are wrong. Instead of: So come down / far below We've been waiting to collect the things you know Come down / far below We've been waiting to collect what you've let go It should be: So come down / far below We've been waiting to collect the things you know Come down / far below We've been waiting to collect the things you know
