Aaron is a fucking phenomenal singer, I'll agree with you there. Austin's screaming is alright, but the best part of OM&M's songs are when Aaron is singing. At least in my opinion.

I'm gonna point out that the STP songs aren't as demanding as most LP songs. Chester's parts in LP songs require a LOT more of his vocal range and power, while STP songs are much simpler to sing. He can do 22 songs with STP for that reason. While I'm sure LP COULD do 2 hour shows, I don't think Chester or Mike think Chester can handle it.

So, there's definitely another vocal part in the song that we didn't hear in the live mashup. Pretty interested in hearing the whole thing. The preview didn't really change my stance on the track.

I was also at the Indianapolis show. I thought everyone was on fire there. Chester really sounded like he was giving his all throughout the night. Aaron on the Ballad Medley, Austin on Faint, and Tim on BIO were all really cool, and I actually saw Brad getting into it a little! Seriously though, I thought it was much better than pretty much every show on Carnivores and the Fall Europe Tour. Maybe the last show in the UK could be on that level solely because of all the cool shit that happened on BIO.

Maybe Mike just wants to make sure that everybody Remember(s) the Name Fort Minor.

Yeah, I watched Red Bull live too. GATS - Faint were fucking incredible. Some of his best performances since 2006, in my opinion. New Divide REALLY needs to go, though. It's clear Chester can't sing it, and nobody seems to get into it when they play it.

I'd probably give best show of THP cycle to Rock Am Ring 2014 or Orlando/Indianapolis 2015. Come to think of it, if partial shows count too, the Red Bull Sound Stage performance was fucking incredible. Everybody, especially Chester for the most part, was on point.

The band just really didn't seem to give a fuck at Download. The performance seemed REALLY forced, like the band was just going through the motions. They play off the crowd, and the crowd REALLY didn't give a fuck. Just for example, compare One Step Closer from Download to One Step Closer from Rock Am Ring. To me, EVERYTHING is better about the Rock Am Ring performance. Sure, Download had By Myself and Forgotten, but By Myself was only as good as the midpoints from Rock Am Ring or the 2015 tour shows, and Forgotten, well, that really is never all that great.

What if halfway through the song, Brad busts in with the best damn solo of his life and Phoenix kills it on bass while Rob delivers the most intricate fucking drumming of his damn career? No way in hell that happens.

Joking. And, besides, most of the songs on those albums still fall in the 3-4 minute mark.

Five minutes, huh? Already longer than 90% of LP's discography. Seriously, though. That makes me more excited. Maybe there will be more vocals after all. But that cover art is not good.

I'm pretty excited for this. Really liked A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES, and this seems to be a darker than blood track from what we've heard. Can't wait.

Everything goes quiet and dark after the intro for that weird electronic sample, and everything kicks off when the guitars come in.
