Boy oh boy, it's been a while since one of these has been done, but with the new album being out and all, it seems like a good time to bring it back. I gave it a few weeks for people to get their thoughts in order on the album and what songs they like more than others, so let's jump into this. Yeah, a fair amount of the criticism as far as "traditional critics" go is less about the lack of nu-metal and more about how it's "generic pop", along with everything that entails. There are some outlets who are upset about the change in style, but I don't think it's necessarily fair to write off everyone who doesn't like the album as a nu-metal fanboy. Now, YouTube and Facebook are very much in the camp of "fuck this it isn't Hybrid Theory", but we don't really count those guys, do we?

So, putting passion in the live show just means playing energetic songs to you? I always thought being passionate about the live show meant putting your all into it, making it an emotional experience/release for the artist, which this set 100% is. But hey, you've got your views. One More Light on Jimmy Kimmel? That's passion Are the sets as energetic as they were a few years ago? No, but I don't think they need to be. They're making a statement. They don't have to rely on HT and Meteora, the band is more than that. They always have been, and I'd rather a set that the band feels passionate about playing than heavy songs for the sake of heavy songs.

"all these people" All one of them? And it seemed like it was less of a reflection of the quality of the album and more of a spiteful remark towards those who felt the album would flop commercially for whatever reason.

He'd probably play drums like he has for every OML song they've done so far barring the only track to not have any percussion whatsoever...
