  1. Nobody's listening, animals and in between Nobody's listening, animals and in between
  2. Very well done Smarty, and that was a very nice move and speech of Chester
  3. Sucks that they didn't have such an opportunity earlier, when Chester's voice was in shape. The fact that the London shows are one after another makes it even worse. I guess that a small FM set is very probable aswell as some instrumentals.
  4. Mike Shinoda and Mark Hoppus write a song together in front of an audience and discuss the music writing process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwrcFWg1Jsw
  5. got your point, but 1. I don't think that DP, Aerosmith and LP are that far from being metal, all of these bands are partially branded as being metal. 2. I mean, it's called Hellfest for a reason
  6. Knowing LP, they will probably play their most poppy and soft songs at the show, thus it will be a hellfest for all the metalheads in the crowd.
  7. How do we measure a show length? There are some shows from 2015 and 2014, where their sources are about 105 minutes long. Edit: I found out that Belo Horizonte show in Brasil 2014 had a source that lasted 127 minutes, and Paris show in France 2014 had a source that lasted 142 minutes.
  8. I voted for APFMH, with the reason being that this song is very energetic live, and the crowds usually love it. I think that SIB or POA should be replaced with FTI.
  9. I wish Heavy a defeat that is heavy, the amount of votes is so much more than it can carry.
  10. I know the choice might be heavy, but you have to make a decision.

  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty8eYVHyVcI In this interview Mike tells who was the song OML about. It was about loss of their friend, Amy Zaret, who was a record executive, and passed away in 2015.
  13. 1) I know I'm the one to blame, but I guess I'm not the only one to feel so.I know it might be an exaggerated example, however I would compare it to showing the ending or some surprise moments in a movie in its trailer. Or imagine I would go to the show, how would I avoid listening to the 6 new songs being at the show? 2) I agree when it comes to new fans or people who wouldn't listen to the album otherwise. 3) I never said that album was being ruined because of that, and I wasn't speaking for everyone. I was talking solely from my standpoint, but it feels like I'm accused of speaking objectively. I'm kinda the same, but I'm more like one song before album release, just to get a little taste of it.
  14. Ok, I exaggerated a bit. But I'm a huge fan of Chester's voice, and feeling that one bandmate, especially the frontman doesn't do anything for the most of the song makes me a bit uncomfortable. I have nothing against Mike's singing, I like Sorry For Now and Invisible a lot. If it would be 2 out of 12, I would have litterally nothing against it. If you were refering partially to me, then I just want to clarify that I said that they've performed 60% of the album before it's release. Releasing 40% of an album before the album release is also a bit too much in my opinion, it already annoyed me during THP period. I know that I have an option not to listen to them, but first of all it's hard to resist (even though I did resist for non singles for OML(I only listened to the live versions of the songs, thus I listened 60% of the album, but solely live), and Rebelion and FM for THP), second it may make the album being less hyped for. On the other hand, I'm glad that they've performed so much of the album, but I don't like the fact they did it before the album release. In fact, they've performed more of OML than of THP and LT during their whole cycles. And THP and LT were described as live albums, it looks like only albums that weren't described as live albums had a large portion of them performed. it further proves my theory that whatever LP says, it's the opposite, like the Carnivorous tour (that turned out to be Herbivorous tour).
  15. First of all, the fact that they performed 60% of the album before the release, spoiled a big part of the album before listening to it for the first time. Overall I liked the album a lot, I think even though the album was pretty poppy (even though Chester said it had a lot of variety), the sound was pretty original, though it contained some mainstream/trendy elements. Many songs contained a lot of electronic sounds, which I liked.Despite that, I wish that some songs would be more organic, for example I love the guitar at the end of Talking To Myself, I wish it would be more audible throughout the rest of the song. Another thing I think could be done otherwise is the mix, first I think it's way too bassy, and wish some things would be louder compared to other sounds. I enjoyed the guitar work a lot, both the tone and what has been played (I freakin loved that pinch harmonic in the break of Sorry For Now), I also wish it would be more apparent in the mix. I also liked Chester's vocals a lot in some of the songs (not Heavy), even though I missed some high notes, and some raspyness. When it comes to Mike's vocals, I think they turned great, but 2 of 10 songs sung by Mike is too much. I also liked that the album was progressive sonically. All in all, the biggest disappointments of the album for me are the shortness of the album, lack of high notes from Chester and lack of noticable variety in the genre. HaHa! Nice! I like this crap, even though I listen to a lot of metal and rock. I like all music genres, but it's not as rare as you might think to like pop music, when you're a metal fan. I assume that many people (and I) don't care about genre, it's about whether I like it or not. I mean, how did you survive the MTM, ATS and LT era?
  16. Just watched the performance, and I have to admit that in my opinion that OML performance may be one of the best performances they've done. For some time now, since 2015, I though that we'll never get an outstanding performance from LP, thankfully this performance proved me wrong. I think that the rest of the show seems a bit weak vocally from Chester. Another strange thing is that one of the YT links to the show was banned by Disney! Why? Is it a revenge for what they said during THP period? Since most of the links above are broken here's one that worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv7MvVIiMOw&spfreload=10
  17. hmm...maybe the number 26 in the second song refers to 26 lettaz in da alfabet. The rest of the song is so ATS, lyrically speaking. The third song seems to be pretty deep (not because it's low pitched). The last song is so cheesy though. I also want to add that it looks like it doesn't look like Mike is playing the guitar in the second song, his finger movements doesn't quite match what is played in the track. Even Chester's bass playing in the fourth song seems more realistic. I also found out that the music might be taken from these sites: http://opus1.sourceaudio.com/#!home http://www.royaltyfreemusiclibrary.com/ Since they were credited in the video description as Wheel of Mythiciality Music and All Supplemental Music. In order to confirm that someone would have to listen through the songs on the sites, or ask Mike, Chester or the guys from GMM.
  18. I wonder if the songs were written by LP, and if the vocal takes we hear are the ones from the performance. Kinda sucks the vocals were processed, I think it would be way better if they would be 100% live.
  19. That voice crack in Wastelands, and the fact that they put it out on the internet isn't a good sign, when it comes to condition of Chester's voice. That may mean his voice is in even worse condition than the last tour. Also the fact that his voice quickly got raspy and strained during the acoustic performances earlier this year, may mean the same. This gets me worried, but I hope I'm wrong.
