  1. Today Jason Aalon Butler of Fever 333 talked on his Twitch about working on new music with Mike Shinoda. Last week during one of Mike's live streams he called him and they revealed they had been working together. Last month Jason released a solo track called 'Bulletproof', so the collaboration could be intended for a solo project instead of a Fever 333 track.
  2. During the April 13th live stream, Mike Shinoda gave some interesting information about Linkin Park. Check out the full Q&A below! - "Have you ever considered using one of Anna's poems as an interlude like the speeches on A Thousand Suns?" -> "Yeah, I used some of her poems in conjunction with Post Traumatic. If we ended up being on the same creative subject, I could see that working out, that would make sense but it hasn't happened yet." - Dan Mayo tried sea urchin on the Post Traumatic Tour and he became quite angry at how bad it tasted. - When Mike is away he likes to host other streams on Twitch, so he hosts Bob Ross, Questlove, The Roots, and more. - "Do you at some point transfer things from Maschine to Daw?" -> "Yeah absolutely, I do it for every sound. it's a little bit of a pain in the ass but I get to mentally pay attention to every single sound as I put it into the track/recording it into the sound. So I'm almost double checking to make sure I like each little part and sometimes I'll find stuff where I want to change the pattern or putting EQ on it." - "Will we get a new LPU CD?" -> "I think so, but I am not sure. This year is the Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary so we are putting a lot of love into that. It'd be silly to like... we've released so many Hybrid Theory demos that I don't know that we have much more to do that with after the 20th anniversary release. It's probably best to ask Ana and the LPU team about that when it comes up. I don't know what they were planning. The demo thing is like... there are just so many demos." - "Is there any instrument you'd like to use that you haven't used?" -> The thing is, I could do some live drums but I am not a good drummer. But that means we would have to figure out ProTools and we'd have to figure out a live cam which I currently don't have." - "Is "Looking For An Answer going to be released?" -> "At this point probably not. I felt like it was a special moment in the celebration show. It wasn't my best performance of the thing to be honest, but it is what it is. I don't know if we could put out a version that would do it more justice than that." If fans remember, Mike worked on a studio version of "Looking For An Answer" in December 2017, and said that he sent the song to the rest of the band at that time and he knew Rob was going to at least work on drums for it. He said it could be played live on the Post Traumatic Tour if fans wanted to see it, but the song ended up not being played. For more information on the song, visit the "Looking For An Answer" Linkinpedia page. Here is the Q&A from the April 13th CoronaJam:
  3. Added. Thanks!
  4. It was recently brought to our attention there's a glitch in the Chorzów 2007 (Source 4) DVD in circulation. It starts at the end of 'The Little Things Give You Away' at 1:02:16 as you can see in the old source video. This faulty version is currently available on lp-bits, our YouTube channel and in the collections of many community members. In our continuous effort to remove bad sources from circulation, we've dug through our files and were able to find the original version of the DVD without this problem. You can download it below. Part 1: https://we.tl/t-pkcvoXWD70 Part 2: https://we.tl/t-04Ket2QEHs Part 3: https://we.tl/t-JqKdx4vDQ3 Total: 4.15 GB Enjoy!
  5. Yes, a rip is out there. Funny enough the band is freaking out about a "leak." Did they really think they could stream the album publicly for the entire world without anyone recording it? lol
  6. Today, April 10, multiple Grey Daze fans from around the world will be holding online listening parties all day for the upcoming album Amends. For time and place, visit this link: https://greydazemusic.com/listening/ Feel free to discuss your impressions of the music in the comments. Today would be the release of the album but it has been postponed to July 26th due to the coronavirus outbreak.
  7. Nah. If they do a live album it should be a new show, not something we've already had in full for years. I would love to see Dragon Festival or Berlin 2001 in full.
  8. Wow, this is definitely the worst Linkin Park related track I've ever heard. Damn, what a bad song. The instrumental is really generic, Mike sounds awful and as much as I like Lights, her vocals sound so out of place. It's like she was randomly thrown in the track without any thought being put it into. Very awkward song.
  9. To be honest, I think the guitar sounds a lot more like the A Thousand Suns demos from LPU XIV than anything else. There's some resemblance to the Meteora demos on the softer parts, with the piano and samples, but nothing really from the Hybrid Theory era. The synths are more modern, like the pre-One More Light demos from LPU 16. I do hear resemblance to What I've Done / Minutes To Midnight towards the end like it was mentioned here. It isn't really a good track to me, but it's nice to have something new released to the LPU.
  10. If you've signed up to Grey Daze's mailing list, check your inbox for a free mp3 download of their latest single 'Sometimes.' The track will be officially released tomorrow, on April 3rd. Along with the single release the band will be announcing an online listening party for Amends.
  11. This is weird, I just checked and people who pre-ordered from the US store received it. Even people outside the US. Maybe it's exclusive to the US store? This makes no sense.
  12. They have different stores for the US, EU and UK. The US store clearly states from day 1 the digital album is available for US residents only: http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Amends#Release
  13. No. It's the same vocal track from Amends with piano and acoustic guitar. If you pre-ordered the album from the official website you should have received the track. If you pre-ordered from somewhere else you won't get it.
  14. Those who pre-ordered Grey Daze's upcoming album Amends can check their e-mails to download an acoustic version of the lead single 'What's In The Eye.' This is a bonus track on the deluxe CD from Target, Saturn and other select stores and will not be available on digital releases or physical editions sold on the band's official store. The album has been officially postponed to June 26th due to the coronavirus outbreak. The band is now planning an online listening party of Amends on the original April 10th date.
  15. Joe Hahn was live on Star Wars Theory yesterday talking about Star Wars and other things. He reveals he was supposed to play two DJ sets in April, one in Shanghai. Check the full interview here:
  16. Not sure, but you can compare them here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7VoPWKqmzfNAK20ld6V9AV0GlJB8k3Wt
  17. The Birthday Massacre and Julien-K's tour has been officially postponed due to multiple cancellations resulted from the coronavirus epidemic. They are working on a reschedule of the tour dates. Meanwhile, the band will be shipping all the Harmonic Disruptor perks and fulfill the remaining personal perks over the next 2 weeks. Things to look forward: - Stronger Without You track drops 3/20/20 - Harmonic Disputor album drops 4/3/2020 with new single Burn The System - New campaign: Trauma Echos Read the entire note here: https://www.facebook.com/julienk/photos/a.351126906186/10157681066856187/
  18. Ok, not a Reanimation demo, just a mashup. The vocals were taken from this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GZbaXdK8Js
  19. Are you talking about the one Mike is using? To subscribe you just need to send a text to Mike's phone number, but it's pretty much for the United States only. If you're outside the US, it won't work.
  20. New video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB_cee5RJ1Y
  21. Second photo here: http://www.wesleycarlos.com.br/lens_galleries/linkin-park-circuito-banco-do-brasil-belo-horizonte-2014/ T-shirt (note it says "Club Tattoo"): https://www.google.com/search?q=club+tattoo+chester+shirt&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjIjeruycXnAhV-FLkGHX2rAtQQ_AUoAnoECAsQBA&biw=1366&bih=608#imgrc=I1V0w8ymxLBegM&imgdii=kefBNRgRoqXrZM We can ask Wesley for a screenshot of the conversation if you still need further proof. And you already know about Chester's photo from a Linkin Park show being used in Grey Daze merch: http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Amends#Gallery I do not know who owns the copyrights of this specific picture though.
  22. There's a regular black vinyl in the EU Grey Daze store. Saturn also has an "exclusive color vinyl" listed but I'm not sure if it's different from the other 7 (7!) because their product picture is just the album cover. Edit: Just noticed Saturn added the color of the vinyl in the description. It's the blue vinyl.
  23. Laura Pergolizzi she's a Warner Bros. artist. Goes by the stage name "LP."
