Am I the only one that thinks that these shirts are incredibly stupid? They don't even look official
-
I guess we don't know for sure if this is 100% correct. They might have taken parts from Houston and put them into the Dallas audio, we have no other recordings of these shows. I think Astat pointed out that Don't Stay from the DVD and the LPU 3.0 are different.

It has to be "Nothing To Loose" then. Fifek had it listed as CDR in his list, so if he ripped it he mislabeled it. I remember than one coming out much later than "I Wanna Feel", the time sounds about right. If I remember right there are even 2 rips of this CD, one from Fifek and the other from Chesterchaz cause they obtained the CD's around the same time.

That doesn't help much. Did you compare it to the other ones? Sylph is the only label that named them actually after lyrics. That there's a "I Wanna Feel" AND a "I wanna heal" seems very odd to me.

Is there a cover?

I guess you mean "I wanna feel" from the 2nd night

It is the mix for me. Burn it down is extremely popular, I learned to like it seeing the song live, the whole vibe about it. I even sing it unwilling sometimes haha, the song is burned into my brain. I'd like the studio version a lot more if the guitar wasn't so buried in the mix, that's what's better in the live version. Lies Greed Misery didn't deliever live. It always seemed more quiet than the other songs. And Chester didn't scream the end like it is in the studio version. It has to be the first song they did not right / differently from the very beginning. The live version also sounded a lot better with the more audible guitars at Rock in Rio for example. Powerless had a huge potentional that they somehow laid to waste with the Lincoln movie. It should have become a real single wolrdwide. The video was awesome. Overall it's a good album but it was definitely overhyped. It is imperfect unlike the others, a couple of goofs that the album has can't be unheard once you know them. What is it with the 12 song rule they always seem to stick to? (I know ATS had "more" songs but in the end it was even less real songs). 2 or 3 more tracks wouldn't hurt. MTM had a couple of great finished b-sides.

I had it too. Got it with the bunch of 2007 Japan shows. EDIT: It wouldn't surprise if that drinking incident was actually in 2001. If you watch the Live in Texas special everyone seems to know them.

This is not the LP rehearsal space so it's not an LP rehearsal.

I think the taper didn't want any of his info published which is quite unusual. So instead of putting "unknown" ,which would be not true, I did this.

LP used several different intros during their extensive touring in 2001. Since we are missing these details for most of the 2001 shows I went through most of the recordings to write down what intros were used. I want to base this on facts and no speculation since some recordings are simply missing the intro sometimes. We know that during Ozzfest 2001 the band decided to use a heavier rock intro (Welcome To The Jungle by GNR) to appeal more to the rock crowds. With this list we can now narrow it down to 2 shows where this switch possibly happened. I always thought they kept interchanging these intros but obviously there are clear changes. -Street Soldiers Tour- Las Vegas 0202 - "RAR" intro Dragon Festival - "RAR" intro -Europe with Deftones- Paris - "RAR" intro Manchester - "RAR" intro London 24 - "RAR" intro LA Palladium - "RAR" intro -May/June 2001- Newtown - "RAR" intro Tokyo - "RAR" intro Osaka - "RAR" intro WHFS - "RAR" intro Rock im Park 1 - "RAR" intro Rock im Park 2 - "RAR" intro + moaning Rock am Ring - "RAR" intro -Ozzfest- Denver - My Decemberish Hip Hop intro Wantagh - My Decemberish Hip Hop intro George - My Decemberish Hip Hop intro (either Marysville, CA or MV was the first show with the new intro) Mountain View - Welcome To The Jungle intro (longer) Camden - Welcome To The Jungle intro Rochester - Welcome To The Jungle scratch intro Boston - Welcome To The Jungle intro Wantagh - Welcome To The Jungle intro Holmdel - Welcome To The Jungle intro Holmdel - Welcome To The Jungle intro -Europe- Berlin - Welcome To The Jungle intro Paris - "Milan" intro Milan - "Milan" intro -Family Values Tour- Rosemont - "Milan" intro St. Paul - "Milan" intro Toronto - "Milan" intro Albany - "Milan" intro Worcester - "Milan" intro Anaheim - "Milan" intro Tacoma - "Milan" intro -December 2001- San Jose - "Milan" intro KROQ AAC night 1 - "Milan" intro KROQ AAC night 2 - "Milan" intro We don't know the real names of these intros so I used temporary names. Later we might just number them and have a page with examples how they sound like. I used "RAR" and "Milan" cause at least to me these are the most common shows they were used at. I didn't put much work intro detail for the Street Soldiers Tour since they most likely used it for the entire tour, just to see how far it goes back.

I thought I had it too, but I was wrong. I guess I mixed it up with another show.

The parking ticket thing always seemed acted to me, it wouldn't surprise me if it was. Why else would they film outside in the dark other than to find a parking ticket.

FOH is the place where the show is mixed, Pooch's workspace FOB is the area in front of the board (FOH), which doesn't have much meaning without any additional info. Depending on the venue FOB can be the entire room since the FOH is not always in the center of the area. As far as I know DFC usually means the exact center where the show sounds the best usually where the FOH is but the so called sweet spot where it sounds the best can be a little off.

If it's really that cheap just go for it

Susquehanna Bank Center was pretty cool actually, really cool you can see Philly across the river. Mansfield had a vibrating roof on one side, that sucked a lot.

From what I've heard, I don't know about the UK though, originally something was planned for Europe in Fall 2012. I guess the tour was scrapped for the work on the Mall soundtrack.

I saw a website that said Disturbed from KROQ Weenie Roast from 2001 was going to be webcasted, but all I was able to find the audio. I think I've seen a couple of different transfers for the STP show from Worcester but no idea about the gens.

I don't think they did CFTI with With You, have they ever done it? They had several different intros during Ozzfest so that person might have mistaken it for CFTI. Yes they were Offest shows but they were both also arena shows, a few of the show were in arenas. The other offest shows we have setlists for that were outside didn't have PMA. They obviously had a longer time slot for Offest to play more songs.
-
I guess it is With You instead of CFTI. They didn't play PMA that often around that time but it seems like they did it only at arena shows, like Rochester.
-
Yeah, the Billboard site doesn't have all the off dates though. There's at least Rochester, NY and Portland, ME. Manchester, NH too, Wikipedia seems to be wrong about this. LP.com calls them all OFFEST so we should stick to that I guess.

I was looking for the line up of the so called "Big Day Off" and "Off-fest" shows but couldn't find much about it. What I did find out was that those shows where basically unofficial Ozzfest shows on the off days and had some of the Ozzfest bands. According to this article here http://www.pollstar.com/news_article.aspx?ID=496308 they didn't even have an official tour name. So Big Day Off and Off-fest is maybe the same thing then? The article mentions also "at least 10 shows" which is pretty much the number of Big Day Off and Off-fest combined on the 2001 year page.
