  1. Just cause they are not playing more tracks in Japan right now doesn't mean they won't be playing more later this year. Maybe they'll premiere a new song at the Biloxi show for example.
  2. I think they just don't want to play all the new songs yet. They have no new music coming up as of now and still a lot of touring ahead, they still have to play all the old STP classics too and satisfy those fans as well. Rehearsing the songs doesn't seem to be the issue. The interviews are probably more important, they are still in the process to establish the new band.
  3. Unless you are somehow living 2 weeks in the future, no.
  4. I watched the making of, otherwise I'd have no damn clue what the hell this video is about. Who really cares for a deeper meaning in a music video? not me at least. If it looks cool it's fine with me. Or is there also a deeper meaning behind the New Divide video? I thinik the video looks good, it's some nice animation. Almost all the sites are geoblocked, look for some local site to post it. MTV etc.
  5. Ok! Noticed something interesting about the Miami 2001 today. It's minor but for some reason the 1st gen copy (and the really old copy of the show) has a few more seconds of footage before One Step Closer than the master copy has. 7 seconds or so lol. 1st gen: Crawling end - blue screen - "... lucky we have a little bit of help" - pause - "Yo yo yo" OSC starts Master: Crawling end - blue screen - pause - "Yo yo yo" OSC starts It's nothing important but weird that this is missing in the master tape. Maybe because it was transfered again and One Step Closer is wrongly included at the beginning of the Staind set anyway in the master version.
  6. the Live Around The World compilations are not EP's. Technically, depending on the exact definition what an EP is, LPU 7.0 is no EP either.
  7. Adam was a boss about the early entry. He had to fight with the local security about it almost every day to make it happen, telling them that he doesn't care and that he's their boss for the day. Wantagh had early entry, but only like 3 people used it lol.
  8. I wouldn't count ATS+ and LT+ as standalone live album releases.
  9. Weird website, anyway they will repeat the webcast 2 more times https://www.evntlive.com/#!/event/1000631 And apparently webcasts on this website are usually not for free but the STP one is. Maybe the show is available as VOD on the site later.
  10. Awesome, finally! What a random city for a webcast.
  11. Does he say 3 and half million polygons towards the end of the video? That's not very much, if that's supposed to be the entire city, maybe it was put out of the context.
  12. Some people accept the fact that they have to travel to shows and some people rather wait 10 years (or longer) for LP to play in their backyard/walking distance. I've been to over 20 LP shows and only 1 perhaps 2 were close enough that I had to travel less than an hour one way. If they don't even come to your country that's a different story. I know the US is huge but some many people are complaining that LP is not hitting their city/state. LP reduced their touring a lot, there's tons of US cities they haven't come to in ages. Road trips are way more fun anyway! Stadium shows are just to show off, who honestly wants to see LP in a stadium? Arena shows are awesome!
  13. The whole band performing for just one song is way too complicated than just giving two mics to mike and chester. Even like that it doesn't sound super great live. If it was any other band/artist they'd just do playback.
  14. If I remember right High Voltage (Reprise) was recorded during the HT sessions so that would make it a real "b-side" of the HT album. My December was recorded afterwards. Even the definition of singles changed over time, back in the 60's for example The Beatles, some of their singles were standalone releases and often not found on an album.
  15. An album is usually done at least 3 months prior release. I think it has been like this for all the LP albums so far, even Living Things. Chester mentioned in the STP interview with Kevin & Bean that he was recording vocals the night before, which is something they usually did at the end of the recording process but that doesn't mean they are not recording vocals in between. Maybe they are close to a finish or maybe not.
  16. It's upcoming, but there's no further info other than the dates lol,
  17. Just like the previous 2 DJ sets he did, I'm sure we'll probably get no info about.
  18. Fixed the link, no idea why it was screwed up. Despite the screaming, honestly whose voice sounds really great in the morning?
  19. The advantage of festivals is usually to play for a wider audience. People see bands they'd probably not see otherwise and maybe become a new fan. From a band's perspective I guess playing festivals is a lot easier than doing a solo tour. A not successful tour can easily end up in a big loss of money. STP is still in the phase of building a new solid fanbase. Their recent US tour was pretty short and not really a success attendance wise. They have to build a whole new reputation not only because of Chester but also because the damage the "brand" took in the last few years under Scott.
