LP - 20.01.2011 - Sunrise, FL, Bank Atlantic Center

Email me your name/address and that you want a medium grey. shirts@lplive.net please -
Hey guys, Just thought I'd give you an update on our shirts. I emailed everyone back individually with your exact costs for the shirt and shipping. Just so everyone knows, we took 77 orders for shirts. That's pretty damn good for our first order! That lead to the shirts being $12 a piece, with $5 shipping in the USA and $14 internationally ($12 for Canada/Mexico) for each shirt. FedEx and UPS ended up charging a TON for shipping so after some massive research (aka reading up on lots of t-shirt sellers in the USA), I concluded USPS (US Postal Service) did it the CHEAPEST way. They have the small flat rate boxes which fit one shirt perfectly/snugly inside so I just went with those. Shirts will be at my house on Jan 7th so I'll send them out on the 8th. A second batch of shirts is going up for sale the first week of March, with our blue and grey's returning....and maybe the red one will make an appearance! We'll see on that one but I definitely would like to make it happen. That will be our main order for all of you who didn't get the shirts for this order. Those will come in PLENTY of time for the LP tours in Europe, etc (I heard they are likely going to Asia in March or April or something like that before the European Tour in the summer). You're more than welcome to order them now though (see the banner ABOVE) but just know we won't place the order until March. So THANK YOU for those of you who ordered a shirt! I consider this a really big success for our site. Everything fell into place perfectly with this order...congratulations to the staff here. We have a lot of cool stuff up our sleeves before the North American Tour starts in a few weeks so keep checking back! I think next, we will do some more interviews with fans. To address a few concerns: - The rest of the Australian DSP's should be posted shortly. It seems the crew of the downloads site (or maybe the LP crew mixing the shows) went on Christmas vacation. This happened with the 2007 Asia concerts so it's not rare for it to happen I guess....so stay tuned, I expect them to be ready before the North American Tour for sure. - South American DSPs: I have not heard anything regarding those yet unfortunately. We can only hope that they are posted along with the rest of the Australian ones. I'm not sure why there is a holdup with those. Thanks!

If you want an LPLive shirt for this show let me know! -
Just got my staff one from Mike in Germany. I want to make the red one available to buy after the USA tour. This one says Staff on the back but we've had a ton of requests for red, so I think I'll soon make that one available as well as the blue one and the grey one.

We recently did a nice interview with our staff member SpikeMinoda (aka Mike) from Germany! This is the next one in our interview series, with more to come in the New Year! Read as he talks about how he got involved with LPLive, how he became a fan of Linkin Park, what songs he wants to see performed live, and more. Check it out here: http://lplive.net/interviews/spikeminoda.php All of our other interviews that we have conducted can be found on our interview page here: http://lplive.net/interviews.php Let us know what you think! We have more interviews with LPLive staff members, LPLive community members, LP's management team and LINKIN PARK themselves lined up...so stay tuned! Thanks to Spike for doing this interview with us!

Oh the note for that is wrong! Thanks for the heads up. That song actually refers to the one before it, so it should read: Are You Gonna Be My Girl? (Jet cover) First known performance: 1/31/2004 Last known performance: 1/31/2004 *Note: Played once, very briefly, by Mike and Chester, more as a joke than anything. No recordings exist, unfortunately. Wish (Nine Inch Nails cover) First known performance: 6/3/2004 Last known performance: 9/11/2004 I will get it fixed soon. Thanks!

Very good idea! Thanks! Will do.

WOOPS. Thank you so much for reminding me. I'll do that right now. Thanks for reminding me Jen! You really are a life saver. I've got so much going on...going on vacation for a week tomorrow, etc...trying to get all of this wrapped up asap. I've been so busy the past 7 days.

This is awesome! I remember that. I was so happy on the train to see a guy in a LP shirt. I wanted to talk initially but I didn't know if you spoke English or not and I was kind of shy lol. It really was fate - you decided to go by yourself, there were no free seats on the train, we all managed to be on the same train, etc. I had a BLAST with you at the show. We jumped together, sang together, made fun of Coheed & Cambria together (LOL), hung out with all of our new friends....it was so much fun. I hope we can do it again in 2011! Great story Stefano. That was a trip I'll never forget. I made so many friends last year and it's funny how many of them are now involved with the site

Hey guys, now is your last chance to place an order for an LPLive t-shirt! In order to have a batch ready to go by the beginning of the North American Tour in January, today at 11:59pm EST will be the last chance you have to order the shirts. Later, we will do another batch for whatever tour comes next but this is the main one for the North American Tour! Go here for more information on how to order: http://lplive.net/shirts.php I will be contacting everyone individually that has already ordered a shirt sometime tonight or tomorrow when I place the order for the shirts. I'm going to tally up all of the orders tonight, send the email to the guy printing the shirts and we'll go from there as far as pricing, etc. Thanks! The shirt order has been placed! Thanks! If you ordered a shirt, check your email inbox for an update from us on the status of the shirts! If you ordered one and didn't get an email, let us know ASAP!

Good god that'd be the best tour LP has done since 2004. If they did Easier To Run, Figure.09, Pushing Me Away (or P5hng Me A*wy), With You and my fucking favorite song and song I've wanted to see forever live: A PLACE FOR MY HEAD, I'd be the happiest man on the planet. LP fans would fucking love it. I want to see all the ATS songs like everyone else but after we see them a bunch, they'll kinda get old. Like I've been to about 9 shows or so and most of them have the same songs! Numb, Somewhere I Belong, etc. Fucking hate Numb now because it's been the SAME since the intro was last used on Sept 11, 2004. Add an intro or change it up or something. Europe last year for me was cool because FTI was in the number 2 spot, they had a new Numb/BTH transition on keyboard, New Divide was in there and the Hands Held High/KRWLNG ordeal. I love the small changes. Radiance live will bring it. I want to see all the ATS songs yeah but I think they should appease older fans too by playing some rarer songs off HT/Meteora. With You, P5hng remix, A Place For My Head, Easier To Run, and Figure.09 would just make the tour for everyone. I'd be excited to see POA yeah because the intros/outros change all the time with Mike being sporadic (fans love it).

A few days before the show. -
Perfect time to release an "A Thousand Suns" b-side!!

Thanks Biel. Watching it now. Not really DVD, it's mpg with a watermark still (wtf). Better than nothing I guess, still crappy quality. Chester is going insane on Papercut lol, I love it.

Well I sure hope they rotate 3 totally different setlists lol. I'm seeing the first 3 shows of the tour and I want change! APFMH god damnit!

On December 18, 2010, LPLive caught up with Sam Herrington, a member of the Linkin Park touring crew on the "A Thousand Suns" World Tour. Sam takes responsibility for filming the band and the crowd during the live performances and his work is prominently displayed on the screens behind the band (both on the "V" stage and the regular stage). We came up with general questions about his job, how he got involved with the touring industry and Linkin Park, and his hobbies. Click the link below to find out all about Sam! http://lplive.net/interviews/sam.php Here's one of our interviews we recently conducted, with hopefully more coming soon! Thanks for the support guys and Merry Christmas! I thought this would be a good precursor to the North American Tour! Sam is a good guy and we're grateful he allowed us to interview him. This is one of my favorite interviews we've done to date! Sam goes into depth with his answers and gives really solid, detailed information for us. Check it out and let us know what you think below!

This. True statement. Great example here. Still are getting along if you ask me, lol. The project is STILL coming, btw. In a sort of...predicament about it with Adam but it has to be done before the North American Tour, so I've got to make a move ASAP. News on this to you soon D. QFT.

LOL that is hilarious.
