That's awesome! Sounds like the band is kicking ass on this tour this year. I like the set they played in Stockholm and Helsinki. I think for Leipzig they'll change it and do their third one.

04.06.2011 - Irvine, CA - KROQ Weenie Roast
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
I know we're all impatient but I've checked every day for the KROQ DSP since like 4 days after the show, lol. So ready to get it The good news is though, the longer it takes for it to come out and for the DSPs to start "rolling out", the longer into the 2 month break between Europe and Asia we'll get DSPs. I guess that's a good thing....? -
Awesome! Glad you had fun What was over Bleed It Out? Did the band talk at all?
-
The BITS set has Papercut in the encore, not at the beginning, so maybe LP combined both sets or something for this show. Hmm.
-
Sucks that for some shows we get the setlists live, some we get them right after the show, and some it takes a while. I remember Japan 2007, that was by far the worst. Took DAYS to find something lol. Thanks technology

Show is over: "Voi Linkin Park miten hienon konsertin veti! Thank you @linkinpark, amazing concert in Helsinki!"
-
I can't find anything on Twitter or anywhere about this show....
-
Can someone that went to the show take a picture or scan their ticket for our show page please? http://lplive.net/shows/20110614.php Thanks!

We don't have anyone reporting the set I don't think
-
Nah. Next album in late 1013 is my guess. LP takes fucking ages to do a CD. 3 years is a general rule for them.
-
Probably B13 again is my guess. Then A-1 for the German PR show.

Show six has arrived! Helsinki, Finland will host Linkin Park at the Kaisaniemi Park on the 16th. This is the first Projekt Revolution show in Europe since the famous Milton Keynes show in 2008 (show page here). This show marks the return of Projekt Revolution to Europe after a three year gap. In 2008, the band hosted the festival with three shows in Germany and one in the UK. This year, Finland starts it off, with three to follow in Germany over the course of this tour. Die Antwoord, Middle Class Rut, and Dredg are on the bill for the Helsinki show. This will be the third Linkin Park show in Finland, with the first coming in Seinäjoki, Finland in 2008 at the Provinssirock Festival (show page here). This is the show where Mike said he saw a sign in the crowd saying "Hands Held High", so he rapped verse one of it a cappella. This later on became a staple in the set for the next year as he rapped it over the 'KRWLNG' into to 'Crawling' and then started doing both verses in the set as well. Their second show in Finland came in Pori in 2009 for their first Sonisphere Festival show ever (show page here). LP played in Knebworth, UK for Sonisphere later in that tour and will be returning to play it in Imola, Italy on this tour this year. At the last show in Stockholm (show page here), LP changed the set from the first four shows of the summer and played a variation of their B13 setlist from the North American Tour earlier in the year. The only noticeable change in this set is how they swapped 'Blackout' for 'Burning In The Skies'. Here's a video of 'The Requiem' and 'Faint' opening the show in Stockholm. Look at the crowd! So with the return of B13 in Stockholm, we know the band is changing it up this summer. This brings up a lot of questions like - Will 'Blackout' return this year? B13 was the only set they were still playing (since B11, 'Blackout' in the encore, was dropped) that had the song in it. What other sets will LP play? Will they play their new variation of A-1 (with 'Papercut' and 'Wretches & Kings' opening)? Or will 'Wretches & Kings' remain off the tour for this year? What do you think? Are there any songs you'd like to see in the set that they aren't playing right now? What do you guys think of the Stockholm show from the videos you've seen? Who is headed to Helsinki from LPLive? Will anyone be live-tweeting the setlist, perhaps? Does anyone have a M&G with the band? Or better yet, a flag? We saw in Stockholm that the band had a flag on stage for the first time since the Houston show in March! Nice! Pooch says that the DSP's will be up from the first few shows starting in a day or so, so check here for those. After an off day, the next show takes place in Leipzig, Germany for the second Projekt Revolution show of the year on the 18th. All of the 2011 tour dates can be found here. SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Faint 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. No More Sorrow 07. From The Inside 08. Jornada Del Muerto 09. Waiting For The End 10. Burning In The Skies 11. Numb 12. The Radiance (Live Version) 13. Iridescent 14. Fallout 15. The Catalyst 16. Shadow Of The Day 17. In The End 18. Bleed It Out (w/ 'A Place For My Head' verse 1 + bridge) --------------------- 19. NOW THIS IS A FUCKING CROWD. I am in love with your posts lately - full of win every time. Wow the place is just rocking. Europe blows the US the fuck away and I don't care what anyone else says because all you have to do is look at a video like this then look at any USA crowd standing around, 4,000 people with their phones/cameras out on the opening song, no one moving, etc. I've seen in person the Euro crowds versus what the USA bring for LP and there's just no comparison, so it's no surprise to me LP prefers to play in Europe and takes their Projekt Revolution there lol. No surprise. LP is kicking some major ass lately. Can't wait for DSPs. Stockholm show seems BADASS.

Radiance is like the Numb outro transition into the next song. Without it, they'd have to replace it with some sort of keyboard piece because Mike always likes stuff in that spot (last 4 years). I like Radiance. LP also uses the scratching video stuff like Radiance has as a big part of their "production" that they boast about. ND will be played at every show the rest of the band's existence. /2 cents I'd like it to be rotated though. 1 set out of 3 is fine with me. My favorite setlist from the ATS World Tour so far: http://lplive.net/shows/20101213.php 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches And Kings 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. No More Sorrow 07. From The Inside 08. Jornada Del Muerto 09. Waiting For The End 10. Blackout 11. Numb 12. The Radiance 13. Burning In The Skies 14. Fallout 15. The Catalyst 16. Shadow Of The Day 17. In The End 18. Bleed It Out (APFMH v1, bridge, drum solo, singalong) ------------ 19. Empty Spaces 20. When They Come For Me 21. Crawling 22. New Divide 23. Faint 24. One Step Closer Why? It's interesting it's my favorite because my #1 LP song, Papercut, isn't in there. So that means I must really think strongly of it. From The Inside, Blackout and BITS. Then ND, Faint and OSC close the encore like 2009. Love it. Crowd goes NUTS on ND -> Faint (w/ outro) -> OSC (w/ outro). The DSPs of this setlist are just badass.
-
Not a new setlist really, just one song different than the one played in Philly on the US tour. http://lplive.net/shows/20110131.php Swapped Blackout for Burning In The Skies. I hope Blackout live isn't done.... I think it was only in this set now that they stopped playing the one that opened with New Divide. If they use a third setlist I guess it'll be the A-1 alteration with Papercut into Wretches and that has no Blackout Sad face.

The quality is badass. Much different than a DSP. I'm sure someone is recording lol -
Awesome Enjoy the show. Did you see them in Stockholm in 2007? Personally I think they'll change something for this show... I really believe they'll incorporate Burning In The Skies somewhere in this tour. A whole different set with Blackout, BITS and Wretches would be badass. I'm surprised also that they had Fallout on the setlist for KROQ but they totally dropped it from the past three shows.

Oh that's awesome, I hope someone records that. -
The third show of the LP summer tour lands in Stockholm, Sweden on the 14th. Linkin Park will be playing Ericsson Globe Arena (check out a picture here, because it's badass) for the second time ever, the first coming as the second show of the Minutes To Midnight European Tour (show page here). This is the first of only two headlining arena shows on this tour of Europe, which is composed of mostly festivals (Projekt Revolution included). The other comes in Hamburg, Germany where the 4th LPU Summit will take place later in the tour. The first LP performance in Sweden came at that show in 2007, but what's interesting is that the band had a show scheduled for Stockholm in September of 2001 (view a show poster here) but for an unknown reason, it was canceled. We can only speculate that the US Reading Festival show the day before in Camden, NJ that was also canceled prohibited the band from getting all of its gear to Stockholm in time for the tour. A show in Hultsfred, Sweden in 2003 at the Hultsfred Festival was canceled along with that entire tour because of Chester's back injury. So the band played the Stockholm show in 2007 but in 2008, they attempted to return to Hultsfred again but it was also canceled, this time due to Brad having an ear infection! The band's stage was already set up by the time the show was canceled too! So LP's luck in Sweden is not that great considering out of four scheduled shows there, three have been canceled. Let's hope this fifth show goes on without a hitch! The video for this post is a funny one - at the 2007 show before 'No More Sorrow' as Chester was talking about not playing in Sweden before, someone tossed a bra at Mike and it landed in his face! Wow! At the last two shows in Europe - NovaRock (show page here) and Download (show page here), they have stuck with the same setlist. The question on everyone's minds is "Will they change anything on this tour?" We see a lot of you in the comments of the other shows say that you wish they'd change this or you think they'll change that. I think this show is the make it or break it time for anything to change. Previously, LP has played the same set twice in a row in Europe before changing it up...so this would be the third European show. The set they have now is really really good, but the surprising thing to me is that 'Burning In The Skies' is nowhere to be found when it was just released as a single in Europe in March, and on top of that it hasn't ever been played live in Europe! What do you think they'll do for Stockholm? Middle Class Rut, a two-piece American band, will be opening this show. Who from LPLive is attending this show? Does anyone have a M&G before the show? Is anyone planning on Tweeting or posting the set live? The tour continues on the 16th in Helsinki, Finland at the first Projekt Revolution show of the tour and first one in Finland. For the full 2011 tour schedule, click here. SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Faint 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. No More Sorrow 07. From The Inside 08. Jornada Del Muerte 09. Waiting For The End 10. Burning In The Skies 11. Numb 12. The Radiance (Live Version) 13. Iridescent 14. Fallout 15. The Catalyst 16. Shadow Of The Day 17. In The End 18. Bleed It Out ('A Place For My Head' bridge + drum solo) --------------------- 19. Empty Spaces 20. When They Come For Me 21. Papercut 22. New Divide 23. Crawling 24. One Step Closer - The band had a Swedish flag on stage that read 'Sweden Welcomes Linkin Park'.

It can be done. TLTGYA and HHH were done. LP can pull it off if they really wanted to, I'm positive. I just don't think they really have any incentive to sit and try to figure it out to throw into the setlist when it'd just replace another song they enjoy playing. -

I'd like a change or two too but face it, if this setlist they were playing had POA and SIB instead of Papercut and NMS, we'd say "WTF, this is a boring set, where's NMS and Papercut?!" They'll do another set on the tour I bet. Wretches and BITS surely will get played lol. Just sit back and enjoy the fact they're at least touring and we're not sitting around bored like we are when they aren't touring, we're getting DSPs for *every* show, and we can at least have something to talk about lol -

Setlist updated in the main post. Not a bad set but just 1 change would make it amazing APFMH full or something. -

Anyone think they'll do anything differently the entire tour? I'm actually surprised that Burning In The Skies is their latest Euro single and they aren't playing it (yet?). I would think they'd at least rotate through a few sets?
