Hi! (I don't really post often here, but I'm always stalking the foruns ) I'm going to the concert, as well to the M&G. I won't be tweeting setlists or anything like that (I'll be too busy enjoying the show), but if something interesting happens I'll let you know after the show. About the broadcast, word about it right now is that it won't be any The Youtube broadcast has been canceled (replaced by "ROCK IN RIO RETROSPECTIVE", whatever that is) and I have no idea if the show will be on Sic Radical (TV channel)... it's too bad, I'd love to save the concert to re-watch later, plus we'll miss LGM's (maybe) debut...

and the "Rick Roll phase" began... lol

until they listen to the CD and go "omg, that demo is awful", or something like that lol

I voted 'No'; I think the actual size is good, and I really don't see the usefulness of having a twitter box on LPL's front page... plus, thw twitterbox looks kind of ugly in there... I don't like it at all

The Rising Tied, for sure TBH, I thought I would like OOA a lot more than TRT (as I'm a lot more into rock than hip-hop), but now that the album is out, I have to admit that is the other way around. I only listen to OOA once in a while, but I remembered that when TRT was released, I was hearing it almost 24/7, non-stop. It's true that these 2 albuns have very different styles, and we can't really compare songs like Condemned or Walking In Circles with Remember The Name or Red To Black, but even so... TRT sounds more 'solid', I have this impression that Mike put a lot more thought into TRT than Chester put on OOA; TRT sounds more original and creative than OOA; and, to finish, TRT's lyrics are way better (I'm not saying that OA's lyrics are bad, but when compared with TRT's...).

Its amazing, I love this song; Chester's vocals are crazy, almost screamo-style =D Also, the instrumental reminds me a little bit some industrial songs... nice

Love it, the way that sound like a ballad, love song, but not in GMYN's kind of way... it's one of my favorites of the album.

It's okay, if I'm in the right mood, but most of the times I just skip it. It might have the best slide guitars/vocal harmonies/whatever in any DBS/LP album, but I'm not going to like the song just because of that; i like what I like to hear, and I don't like to hear the SUPER-UBER-z0MG-AMAZING-GUITARS!!!11!1! of the song (and by 'guitars' I meant the general instrumental and vocals of the song) Also, as a lot of people said in here, it's a 'unique' track on the album, which adds a reason for me not to hear it: it kills the mood of the album... the fact that I like a song or not during a certain moment is very influenced by mood and the mood of the song, so hearing GMYN after Let Down and before My Suffering really goes against my disposition... (I hope I made sense )

One of those really oldschool shows when the band performed Pictureboard with Chester? x) That would make everyone flip out for sure

I've only heard what is available for everyone else outside Japan, but not the 30 sec samples (I'm waiting to hear the full songs, I hate these '30sec song spoilers'); from what I've heard, I'm a little bit disappointed... their sound performing live and their song on studio is completly different, IMO. Live is so raw, and studio is a little bit overproduced. But despite this, once I get past this 'live/studio contrast disappointment', the songs are pretty good I'll elaborate once I manage to hear the full album

http://www.rockone.festivaispt.org/ is very reliable, but not official according to an article I read (sorry, I didn't keet the link, if I find if again I'll post it here) we should have confirmation (from the festival) by tomorrow... however, they already told us that they would confirm the band yesterday, the day before that, and in other occasions, bah.... They also said that they (RockOne) were waiting for a confirmation from the band's tour manager... In that case I really don't know why they announced the band before the band's tour manager confirmed it; I'm beggining to smell some scam to sell tickets (I know some people who bought tickets already, just to see LP) edit: Loony! Hi! LOL, I just noticed you already posted here too

These guys are joking with us, i'm so sick of this I've been following this LP@RockOne thing (I'm portuguese and I'd like to see the band if they come here) and I'm getting tired of this confusion around the festival. I sent an e-mail to RockOne's organization some days ago, and they confirmed LP; however, in the festival's website(rockone.pt) there was no sign of LP; they told us that they had some problems with the website's server and couldn't update it... some days after that, the website was updated, announcing LP. In the following day, the website was updated again, and LP was nowhere to be found. WTH? Now it's a little bit chaotic... in RockOne's official website we have some bands, in Radio Comercial's website (Radio Comercial is the official radio partner of the festival) we have other bands in other days,... and if you go searching in other sources you can find some variations of the festival's line up. Looks like the festival's organization has no idea about what they are doing I don't trust them at all anymore; I'll just wait for a confirmation from LP.com before I do anything...

LP's show on RockOne is making quite the controversy among portuguese fans... There are lots of sources that confirm that they'll be playing at the festival, but there's no confirmation from the band yet, and the organization of the festival didn't make any official announcement about it either. The only "official" sources we have so far are some websites about summer festivals (none of them is directly related to RockOne's organization) and a radio announcement. Today I sent an e-mail to RockOne's organization, and they replied saying that LP are confirmed to play at the festival... I don't know, lol. And, to make things "worse", this website ( http://www.festivaisverao.com/Festivais/rock-one-2009.html ) says that LP will be playing before James Morrinson and Klepht (a not-so-famous portuguese band)...

how are the live CDs related to a Greatest Hits CD? I'm just saying that I think that a "greatest hits" CD with only 3 albums is weird (or at least I thought so, but according to some people here, it's not as uncommon as I thought it was), and unnecessary... But, as mentioned before, there have been rumors about a album like this for about 2 years, lol. I'll just consider this an unfonded rumor (yeah, right, a radio DJ announced it, but what do radio DJs know about this stuff? lol) True or false, I'm sure we'll find it on eBay sooner or later

It's a little weird for a band to release a "best off" with only 3 albums... but if it would have unreleased tracks, whatever!
