  1. Indeed, they have 4 years to face a huge problem. I assume they can cut all the rehearsal tracks and the live B-Sides that were taken from the DSPs, but yeah, even the LPU stuff doesn't even fit into a single CD. I'd leave out the LPU5, since that's pure CC era, the LPU7 because it was an obvious cashgrab, but then we go into the tricky stuff. You can't create a live Rarities 2006/2008 like in this Meteora 20 since there were barely any live B-Sides (yeah, I'm excluding the DSP) and as I said before, a live CD is limited, but you can't put 3000 vinyls in the box set... It's gonna be a wonderful messy problem
  2. MTM Live Rarities? That's official?
  3. Very slightly different, you really have to pay attention to notice
  4. That's the fucking bible up here. I hated MTM when it came out, but I was just a 16 year old brat. Anyway, the whole cycle was fantastic, it was full of great shows, huge setlists... I just ask for a full show with Faint as a show closer
  5. What a better way to celebrate 20 years of a financial turmoil with their label than another turmoil with a different label 😂. Add the Live 8 in full in that package with a proper remaster and we're all set. It's going to be a royalties nightmare anyway so....
  6. Although I think that from MTM onwards it will be even more focused on hardcore fans. You know, it was the first "betrayal" from the band
  7. But in a live CD they would have to cut tracks, that's the only issue
  8. This means that, at some point, it was planned that Chester would sing in Massive?
  9. Chester's outfit in the OML era was a cosplay of the bad guy in Poltergeist 2
  10. I do remember something like that, even as far that he said it with the feeling that he was the only one willing to perform it. So, you're not crazy and you're not the only one who wanted that song back
  11. The Rock am Ring 07 show would be a killer option. Band was on fire from OSC to Faint
  12. How are they're gonna improve this in the next boxsets? I mean, there's the DSP program, so we already have good quality versions of almost any show...
  13. 1. You'll have to wait to someone to upload to YouTube without being taken down. 2. It's not possible, they're exclusive to the boxset
  14. Hi guys, now the box set is out and some of you have already enjoying it, let's see is somebody can help me with this tricky issue. As far as I understand, the original DVD and CD combo of LIT were essentially the same audio, with some dialogues cut and the obvious 5 omissions. Nevertheless, if OSC from the DVD is taken from Dallas (just an example), the CD is also from that same show, right? The LPU3 tracks, which according to Linkinpedia, are different recordings. Again with the examples, if Figure 09 in the DVD is from Houston, the LPU CD is from Dallas. Quite similar, but not an audio version of the DVD. The Meteora 20 version has the full setlist. Besides the modern remastering, regarding those missing five tracks, are they a audio version of the DVD, which means that the LPU3 tracks still being unique recordings after all this time? Or they truly are the Underground versions integrated in the full release for the first time? Thanks
  15. Anyone else here is patiently saving money to buy the box set?
  16. Regarding the Lost mix issue: First and foremost let's appreciate that we have access to both. Having said that, let's be real, if you want to make a HUGE comeback to the world, it has to be with modern standards. If they had returned with the same 02 mix, many casual fans would have regarded it as a demo or a nostalgia act. They have to sound modern, like the track was really composed today, with the classic LP formula. That's why the track has been such a success. Not even the rest of the songs will receive the same amount of affection. The 02 mix is great for us, the hardcore fans, but we're a minority.
  17. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but as far as I know, this new 2023 is essentially the same recording as shown in the DVD. The LPU3 had some tweeks here and there. Let's say that the recording of Figure.09 in the DVD is 90% Dallas and 10% Houston. For the LPU3 CD they might have done 90% Houston and 10% Dallas in the same song (Reason behind this: I don't know). That's why the tracks on that CD are a little bit different
  18. People can't handle the fact that their favorite artist might have a opposite vision about what their own music should sound like
  19. They could, but they want you spending 100€ more
  20. So, Resolution is a demo of Lost similar to what Holding Company is to LITE? Regarding the later, I always felt that they were too different to be ever considered a demo and a finished product of the same idea. But that's just my take
  21. Although I think we can omit 10 versions of the same song at rehearsals
  22. The DVDs are venues feed or proper recordings?
  23. Jeff was one of those who wanted to kick Mike out, or he didn't simply defend him when others attacked him? PS: Has any of the members ever say something about the Jeff book?
  24. Any chances of a LPU 17? Or it's impossible to know?
  25. "we don't want to look backward at all". Surprising that they didn't revisit those at late 2011/early 2012
