  1. Has Mike even feel uncomfortable with releasing certain stuff on the LPU CDs and has felt obliged to it? I always had the feeling that, if it had exclusively depended on him, we would have an early LPU structure, with just a couple of new tracks. And that would be the years anything meets his quality standards. If not, forget a CD... I might be wrong, just a gut feeling
  2. Or a Collision Course box set 😂
  3. To be honest, I'm kinda sad that Meteora 20 is released this Friday. Since December it has been VERY funny interacting with you all for every little piece of information. We have a couple of weeks more of discussing everything about the box set, but it's not gonna be the same
  4. More BTH demos??? 2 are enough for me
  5. He would probably say that he doesn't remember it at all
  6. I couldn't have said better. LT and THP although good, they felt incomplete. And OML had better ideas than actual performance
  7. THP. The cycle started bad and ended up worst
  8. It's the Reign in Blood of nu metal 🤣
  9. Perhaps I'm a bit of a downer, but I like the album as we got it in 03. Lesser tracks means not only that people would have tended to get bored by the 16th song (remember, downloading stuff and making your own playlist was already a big thing in 2003), songs would have less time to shine on their own, comparisons would arise and those new tracks wouldn't be so beloved as they are right now. Being in the vault for two decades makes them very desirable.
  10. What a band of fucking trolls. The Making of Healing Foot is the same cut that has been shared by fans for decades 😆
  11. Absolutely, with live versions of Carousel and Part of Me
  12. Interesting take, but in my opinion 2004 was the year that they were the biggest band in the world, it's the image that any person you ask randomly has of Linkin Park. 2007 onwards they were big, but not so much. I agree that OML was a conscious attempt to sit in the throne again, and if Chester hadn't killed himself they might have achieve that, but it's an eternal guessing name. LT was a false step, half of the record was commercially appealing and the other half too weird for not hardcore LP fans. Instead, following the ATS / THP was career suicidal.
  13. It's also rumored that they will do a club shows tour later that fall, but nothing is confirmed yet.
  14. Download Festival 2024: Xero with Mark playing their 1998 demo tape in FULL live for the first time ever.
  15. The special QR is a new unreleased remix of Burn it Down
  16. Totally, we're having new songs in three weeks, who cares which song is each demo?
  17. Like most of the metal versions of OML. One thing that I really despise of the metal community is when they make a metal version of a pop hit which they consider awful, but when it has downtuned guitars and double bass, then it's marvelous. Guess what happens? If the original song was bad, the metal version... Still being bad. And, really? You eat any shit if it has loud guitars? PS: I'm not bashing Lost, but the necessity of making everything METAL to be valid
  18. I'm saving money for the deluxe box set. I waited two years for the HT20, I think I'll be fine if I don't have it by April 7th.
  19. You mean Mike in solitary? Cause speaking of blockbuster the LP/Transformers duo has become a pop culture icon... https://youtu.be/pz0EFEVqUjg
  20. Quite curious how the Mike's singles are so polarizing. Either you love them or despise them. But I really like that he's now a single-focused artist. Contrary to the album-mindset LP had. I always supposed that they had that ambivalent relation with studio
  21. Will be on streaming that day? Hope someone
  22. Except for the omission of a few tracks, they did a great job in that boxset. We don't really need have 16 different versions of papercut with barely any difference between them, even here, where there are the most hardcore LP fans, would have end up bored. Quality over quantity.
  23. Paying homage to the "Live" side of the boxset With You (Live at Ozzfest 2001) Runaway (Live at Family Values Tour 2001) High Voltage (Live in Wantagh, NY, 2001) One Step Closer (Live at Family Values Tour 2001) Also, Part of Me post EP
