  1. Okay, thanks a lot! I'm excited to see a setlist, that's why I'm asking. I'm hoping for some live debuts, maybe Promises I Can't Keep or Hold It Together.
  2. When does the show start?
  3. I really like this song. It's probably not my favourite off the album but it's one of the best for me. I've read somwhere that the lyrics are from the Chester's perspective. Do you think it's possible? Honestly, I don't think so. Bridge may be about Chester but, in my opinion, the whole song is not from the point of view of Chester. People are saying that the lines like "Woke up knowing I don't have to be numb again" or "'Cause I'm already half-a-million miles away, though, they know" prove that the song is from the Chester's perspective but if you put them into the context, it's all about Mike saying like "I'm a lot better now but I'll have a lot of bad days" or something like this. It really bothers me because I WOULD like it to be that way. For me, a song like "Looking For An Answer" is missing on "Post Traumatic". In every "sad song" (because there are some "fun songs" like "Ghosts" or "Lift Off") on the album, Mike is angry or is talking about himself that he has terrible mood, etc. I think that there should be at least one song about emptiness after Chester's death - that Mike just simply misses his friend. As much as I love "Post Traumatic", I'm really dissapointed that there is no song directly about Chester and good times with him. If "Can't Hear You Know" is from the perspective of Chester, it would be this song for me so I hope it's really like this. What do you think, guys?
  4. I enjoy the new songs. "Crossing A Line" is great and I like it more than "Nothing Makes Sense Anymore". I feel like there are drums needed in NMSA. I rather never have a problem with songs without drums or percussion but in this song no drums feel just not right. But I like the atmosphere in this song, lyrics are also fantastic. "Crossing A Line" is probably my favourite song from "Post Traumatic" so far. "Drop" in this track is great! I love the sound of guitar there. I've never heard something like this from Mike/Linkin Park before. The melody is very catchy. I really love it, guys! And it seems like the video and the vibe of the song fits the theme of Mike's solo project so he somehow proved me wrong. Overall, I'm glad we are getting a new album in June and I can't wait to listen to it. Hope there will be more pop songs like "Crossing A Line" because Mike is very good at creating them.
  5. You can't really say anything negative about Mike or Linkin Park there... Come on, I only said that "Post Traumatic EP" style fits a lot more to the personal theme of Mike's solo project. I love pop and I love when Linkin Park create pop songs and trust me, I think "One More Light" is their best album. I'm not one of the pepole that claims that "Linkin Park sold out" or something like this. Everyone who knows me, knows that I like diversity in music. Don't tell me that it's the same discussion all over again because my post wasn't supposed to be against Mike and my intension wasn't to claim that "Mike is shitty pop artist". Can't wait for the song and I hope that it will change my mind about the style.
  6. I don't complain about poppy sound. I really like pop songs, even more I like the pop songs from Linkin Park. I just think that this kind of style doesn't fit Mike's solo project. But of course I may be wrong and it'll somehow fit, I don't know. I'll see tomorrow... I think I will enjoy the song, I can even see from this snippet.
  7. I find it all a little bit strange, to be honest. His solo project was supposed to be very personal and all the videos were also supposed to be like this. And now we get 'normal' video, looking not that personal like ones for the songs from "Post Traumatic". Also, I really, really like poppy songs and I love "One More Light" (it's my favourite album of Linkin Park!) but this style doesn't fit Mike's solo project, at least for me. Don't get me wrong... I'm still waiting so much for new songs from Mike and I'm also looking forward to listen to "Crossing A Line" tommorow but the style of "Post Traumatic EP" feels more natural and it fits the idea of getting out of a mourning, etc. Also I would like to see more "filmed-from-the-hand videos" and not "normal" ones because it also feels more natural. Now it looks like Mike wants to push it more to mainstream and I feel a little bit uncomfortable with it. I know that Mike is great at creating pop songs and I'm sure I will enjoy the new song but I just doesn't like the idea of a new direction. I hope there's a sense in it.
  8. It can't be a coincidence that the BMI entry's just appeared and Mike starts teasing something. It wouldn't make sense. My guess is that there will be an album announcment and new song, very probably "Running From My Shadow". Maybe even this week.
  9. I'm glad you put me on 9th position. Thanks a lot!
  10. Thank you very much!
  11. Thanks a lot, Geki!
  12. Here's my entry. Tell me what you think - I hope you'll enjoy it!
  13. I think he will release more EPs and they will also be called "Post Traumatic" and then eventually it will become like one album. I'm just guessing.
  14. I heard some new guitar sounds but I thought that it was just additional section played by Phoenix and then he played Chester's part. But you're probably right.
  15. Phoenix had to play Chester's guitar part and I think they are more complex than Phoenix's bass part so it was easier for Mike to sing and play bass than singing and playing Chester's guitar part. I hope you understand me.
  16. Probably "And One", I think.
  17. I've made a setlist with the songs that Mike and band can handle easily: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7&p=278776 I was working on it for almost an hour and I noticed that there were even some songs that I didn't include in this setlist, for example "Step Up"... Of course, I'll respect every decision that the band will make but I hope they'll continue because they have a lot of ways to handle the shows without Chester. I agree with you.
  18. Thanks!
  19. I didn't want to do it because I thought it was too early to create custom setlists, but I saw that some people've done it here, so I thought I could too. Anyway, it's just for fun. Setlist with Mike as a lead singer 1. One More Light (Chester's pre-recorded studio version acapella; Verse 1 + Chorus only) 2. Sorry For Now (Ext. Intro; Where'd You Go Verse 1 Bridge) 3. Until It Breaks (Mike singing Chester's part; normal album outro with Brad on vocals) 4. Mash-up #1 (Points of Authority's Rap on extended intro of Faint -> album Faint intro -> Faint Verse 1 -> Papercut Chorus on Faint Instrumental -> Faint Verse 2 -> Papercut Chorus again -> Instrumental bridge -> Papercut chorus) 5. It's Goin' Down / High Voltage [ROTATION] 6. When They Come For Me (Empty Spaces Intro; Shortened - No Bridge, No Outro) 7. Good Goodbye (Ext. Sing-a-long Intro; Live Version; Band Gang Vocals in Chorus) 8. Leave Out All The Rest (2017 Version) 9. Castle of Glass (Experience Version; 2017 Ending w/ A Place For My Head v1 or Petrified v1 or A Light That Never Comes v1) 10. It Goes Through / Devil's Drop [ROTATION] 11. Skin To Bone (Band Gang Vocals in Chester's Parts) 12. In Between (New Version) 13. Hands Held High 14. Roads Untraveled 15. Final Masquerade (Acoustic Version) 16. Shadow Of The Day (Piano Version) / Iridescent (Piano Version) [ROTATION] 17. Invisible (Ext. Intro) 18. Mash-up #2 (Waiting For The End Intro -> WFTE Rap Verse 1 -> Transition into Wastelands/Wretches And Kings/Remember The Name Mash-up Instrumental -> Wretches And Kings Verse 1 -> Remember The Name Chorus -> Wastelands Verse 2 -> Bridge -> Remember The Name Chorus) 19. All For Nothing (Band Gang Vocals in Chester's Part) 20. No Roads Left 21. In The End (crowd singing Chorus and Bridge) 22. Rebellion (Shortened; No Bridge) ________________________________________ 23. Burning In The Skies (Short The Requiem/The Radiance Intro) / Battle Symphony [ROTATION] 24. Numb (Chester's pre-recorded live vocals) Honestly I was working on this setlist really long, it took me like one hour, really... I think Mike can handle some songs that Chester sang and there are some songs that he always sings. I think some mash-up's with Mike's rap verses could be great too. There are just my ideas of these mash-ups (it looks strange but I think Mike can do this, we've already seen what he did with Fort Minor set), they could be completely different - I just wanted to throw in some good rap verses there. Actually I think it's really good setlist and I would have A LOT of fun watching it on stream or when being at the concert. When I started making this setlist, I thought that it will be hard to bring a heaviness to it but I think that Mash-up #1, All For Nothing, Rebellion or even No Roads Left would be really heavy. I just don't know if Mike can handle 23 songs. It can be a little bit too long without Chester. I would drop It's Goin' Down/High Voltage rotation slot and one of the mash-ups then... BTW, I know there are a lot of rotation slots but I thought that I wouldn't have much options with Mike as a lead singer but it turned out a little bit different so that's why. Of course there are some tributes for Chester and I hope they'll bring in something like this to the setlist if they'll continue with Mike as a lead singer. Start the show with Chester and end with him. That would be beatiful, in my opinion. Tell me what you think about this setlist.
  20. I wrote in this topic that I would want Linkin Park to continue with Mike as a lead singer but I've watched "Live In Texas" today and I can't imagine that there will never be any heavy songs on the setlist again. Of course I like, for example, "Invisible" or "Sorry For Now" and I have nothing against Mike's voice, he is great but I think that there will be a lot people on the Linkin Park concert that will expect "One Step Closer" or "Crawling" to be played and obviously Mike can't sing these songs. Almost every big single that Linkin Park have is "Chester's song". I think that whole concert with only Mike on vocals could be a little bit boring, because almost every song that Mike sings (maybe except "Rebellion" and "No Roads Left") is mellow and a setlist full of such songs would be a little bit strange and boring. In my opinion, Linkin Park should be named "Linkin Park with XYZ" (as Stone Tempe Pilots did with Chester) and they should bring a new singer. It'll be hard for me to watch the concert without Chester and with a different singer but it'll be better option. But of course, I'll understand every decision that the band will make and it'll be good to see Linkin Park with Mike as a lead singer because I'm sure it won't be bad and it'll be interesting to hear completely different setlist and watch how Mike can handle whole concert singing alone.
  21. For me, disbanding would be another hard experience after Chester's death. I'm emotionally bound with the band and I can't imagine that I'll never be at their concert again or hear a new album from them. I know this is a possible option, because Chester was a huge part of Linkin Park, although I hope it won't happen. The fourth option is okay, but I doubt the band would want to stop playing new songs live or just meet fans at the concert. For me the first option is definitely the best. Mike has shown in recent albums that his vocals are getting better and he could definitely be the lead vocalist of the band. However, the concerts will be completely different. We probably would never hear "One Step Closer" or "Numb" again which are some of Linkin Park's most popular songs, and people who don't know the situation would expect the songs to be played at the concert and they could be disappointed. For me, the solution would be good because of the fact that we wouldn't have to get used to the new vocalist. For so many years I watched the band's concerts or interviews, and I was accustomed to them all and I would feel oddly as if I saw some "foreign" vocalist on stage, singing "Papercut" with Shinoda. But I think I could get used to everything, so I'll accept any band decision, but for me it's a good time to play such songs as "Until It Breaks", "Roads Untraveled", "When They Come For Me", or even "It Goes Through", restore "High Voltage". "Castle of Glass" or "Invisible" can still be in setlist. Besides, I think that Mike can easily sing a few songs that Chester had sung, for example "Leave Out All The Rest" or "Shadow of the Day". "In The End" and "One More Light" could be played as a tribute to Chester. In "In The End" his party could be sung by the audience and in "One More Light" his voice could be played as a playback. There are a lot of solutions and I'll really accept everything the band chooses, but I hope they'll continue to delight people with new music and we'll see them again at the concert. Without Chester it won't be the same, but after this tragedy I will be just glad if they continue Linkin Park, even if future albums are not as good as those with Chester on board.
  22. I've just released a cover of "Nobody Can Save Me" in tribute to Chester. Hope you'll enjoy it. https://youtu.be/f361X-5ndt0
  23. I don't know why you don't want Linkin Park to continue. I can't even imagine that "One More Light" is the last album of the band. I know it won't be the same without Chester and I don't want them to make album in two years or something like this. They should take their time to think about all these tragic things and take a new singer, at least in my opinion. It would be hard to see Linkin Park on stage without Chester, I still can't believe that he's gone forever but it will be better for me (and I believe for many fans) if they'll release many albums in the future and OML wasn't the last. I know (at least I hope) that Chester would want Mike, Brad, Rob, Dave and Joe still make music as Linkin Park and would have nothing against it. Even if they'll take a long break after Chester's death, it'll be so great to watch five of Linkin Park even in five or six years.
  24. I hope they will continue making music. It's like a light at the end of the tunnel after the information about Chester's death. I can't imagine that there won't be new Linkin Park album anymore. I know it'll never be the same again but I need to see at least one more Linkin Park album in the future, even in 10 years, but I know that I need it.
  25. Both are great and awesome but Nobody Can Save Me is one of my favourite tracks from Linkin Park right now. I know that One More Light will win it anyway but I will vote for One More Light, I enjoy Nobody Can Save Me more.
