Yeoo man, are the people who managed to get tickets earlier safe? Like they're not canceling all the tickets and starting fresh are they?

All I know is I came home expecting an email from LPU giving us all details on when the ticket purchasing could take place. I hadn't received anything and LPU didn't post anything so I checked the NYC Show form on here and I saw that people already got tickets. I went to ticketmaster and enter the code that they posted in the form and it said that no tickets were available. I kept trying and some how I got through and got myself 2 tickets. It was a shitty situation but I got lucky and I'm thankful. I think LP and LPU royally fucked up on this situation and that should never happen again. Really low, and this is supposed to be the best LPU yet? We'll see

I truly hope they're all unreleased demos of songs that we've never heard or maybe ones we've only heard pieces of weather they be from any of their previous albums or snippets we may hear in the ATS DVD. Listening to unfinished demos of songs we've already come to love is just pointless and in my opinion hurts the originals more than it helps. Let's hope the band will truly keep with the attitude of this being the best LPU yet and blow us away with what we'll hear on this CD

I couldn't agree more. I already pre-ordered it. LP has done nothing but show their fans (The die hard fans especially) how much they appreciate us. And now that they're celebrating a decade of the most loyal fans in the world I cannot see them disappointing us at all. This extra cash that they're charging is only going to benefit us. They start the new year off with exclusive shows and an unreleased demo? Can you imagine what they'll do when the album comes out and a start a full blown US tour?! I agree with you 100% fearless LPL leader, this is going to be the best year yet and all we have to do is wait and see.

I too am holding my breath after The Catalyst, and it got worse after I read that review from the listening party. The strange formatted songs, the number of short tracks, the overall sound and spoilers of this album are down right scary. I always thought of LP as a band that could create anything and pull it off with their successful habits. This album is making me question my previous assumptions. I've always loved LP and I'm definitely giving this album a chance like the rest, but never before have I been scared of the possibility of not liking the album. We'll all see I guess

My thoughts exactly! the second half of the song reminded me of TLTGYA right away. The songs very unfinished and underprodouced. The verses needed less electronic beats/effects and more lyrics that didn't constantly repeat or follow the same lyrical pattern. the second half I thought was great. If if this song grows on me it will be because of that half. Definitely the most disappointing lead single debut. Doesn't even hold a candle to the impact What I've Done had. Ooh well, we'll see if my opinion changes and if this single reflects the overall sound of the new album

The length of the album never bothered me. To be quiet honest when I saw the length of the 6-track sampler it actually shocked me. LP has always been able to create quality songs throughout an album regardless of length so I'm not worried at all with how long ATS is. I just want the album already. And all these previews of The Catalyst are driving me insane

I'm a cursing fiend, so when an artist or band curses I actually relate to it better and it allows me to connect to the emotions of the song better and I think it allows the artist to express more of their own emotions since they're not limited my language. However, I could really care less since these guys have proven they can kick ass with and without excessive language. With how epic and dark this album seems to becoming its not that big of a surprise that Mike or Chester will curse at all

Ehh, to be honest I like Chester's affected vocals a hell of a lot better than Mike's. The song is really beat and sample driven. Not to say that it can't be a good song, but LP's greats have always been supported by heavy sounds and climatic bridges and final choruses. I'm not at all against what they may be doing with this new album, cause lets face it none of us have a fucking clue of what its going to sound like. Individual tracks, a 10 and 30 second preview have no baring on the album itself. Hell, it doesn't even do the unheard lead single justice. If the one of the last 4 tracks on MTM had previews of them leak before any other tracks I guarantee people would be making the same wrong assumptions about the album. What I've Done may have summed up the directions the band had taken that led them towards MTM, but it in no way summed up the creative sound of the entire album, which is exactly why The Catalyst is just 1 of 15 songs and in no way describes ATS as a whole.

Alright, just figured I'd ask. It sounds a lot different from the tracks that they released for the remix project, to me ayway. I'm just sick of all this waiting. The single and album I can manage, but I hate how they keep teasing us with all this online shit. Its driving me insane

Are you guys sure that's a clip of The Catalyst? Maybe its a clip of another song off the album? I got that from Mike's Blog's twitter in a direct message which also had a download of the new LP logo

For all of those people at there who made comments on the vocals given to us for The Catalyst Remix, including me, did anyone consider fact that they already begun remixing the song and gave us those tracks to add to? Maybe Mike's vocals don't sound like that on the original? Its just something I thought of because vocals like that feel like a really big stretch even for these guys and everything they've been claiming for this new album. It was just a thought and I was wondering what everyone else thought

I really wish I didn't listen to those tracks. I hope the song sounds a lot different when they're all put together, cause right now the song just doesn't seem like it'll live up to expectations. The effect driven vocals by Mike are weird, the keyboards seem very mellow, and the lyrics in general seem like these guys are going in a very different direction.

Maybe I'm only listening to mixes submitted by other people, but could anyone tell me exactly how to listen to the new track?

I highly doubt that LP will be releasing the album in a month. I just can't happen. The leak from WB is more than enough proof to support that's when the 1st single will be release. Plus they're still putting the finishing touches on the album and haven't even begun to promote it yet, outside of the devoted fan online fan base. Plus the tour dates are another sign, with how far away they are.
