  1. Any download option coming soon?
  2. Beyond awesome. Really delivered on this track. Loved the production, melody and the all around intensity
  3. Really excited by all the energy the band has. I know the US won't get this setlist but I'm really glad to see that band is back to blowing fans away with their performance. Really hope descent quality audio is released from these shows. Would really love to rock out to this set on my ipod
  4. Probably coincides with Chester recently saying how recording and playing w/ STP helped strengthen his voice and increase his range. Hopefully he can keep it up all tour
  5. Couldn't agree more. I think Chester needs to relax and not mimic Mike's vocals as often as he does. With that being said, I think all the ATAS songs just don't bring it completely live. Band just doesn't have means to do so, with songs that are heavily landscaped sonically. I'm glad I'm not the only person who really isn't too crazy about WTCFM. Studio is okay, but love it just doesn't hit me as hard. I vote they keep WFTE, and interchange on different sets between The Catalyst, Blackout and Iridescent (if it's not in the medley). Songs that we need to see more of are Don't Stay, Runaway, No More Sorrow, Blackout & In My Remains. Although I have strong doubt for most of them
  6. Song has settle just a tad more than yesterday, but I don't think any more listens will improve the overall quality to me. It's a shame that the pre-chorus/chorus lyrics are so weak because the rest of the songs' lyrics aren't bad at all. Chester's delivery isn't that special either. The inconsistent vocal pattern for the choruses and screaming outro really don't hit home. The song in general seems to contradict what the band has been claiming they've been aiming to do with THP. GATS makes sense, but UIG seems like it could have easily been thrown onto LT and been in a better place based on what they claim THP will be like. In my opinion, I honestly think they rushed UIG & GATS. Both lyrics are sub-par at best, and that's saying something for LP. Given that those 2 were mixed and mastered for the private listenings as opposed to the rest of the album, I hope that means they put more effort and originality into it. All and all, would never judge an album off the first 2 tracks, but they're not off to a great start.
  7. Like usual I'm sure this song will grow on me, but thankfully I didn't hype it up as much. Chester sounds very strained on this track, and the lyrics' genericness doesn't bother me so much since it's backed by a pretty solid melody. Looking forward to the album and how the first 2 singles blend together as a whole. BTW... Absolutely LOVE all the haters I've read since the song's release (yeah, that many in such a short span) Many rock stations/websites posting about the song are full of haters and how they've made nothing better since Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Never stops amazing me how musically ignorant people are haha
  8. Damn shame I'll miss the premiere. I won't be out of work till 4 and have zero access to my phone or internet. Might wait for an iTunes release for better quality
  9. Any word on an iTunes release date? Maybe Tuesday with an album pre-order?
  10. Seems like that radio report I heard that the album is due out in August may not be as big of a stretch as I thought. Would time it right up with the US tour and allow the band to play older material during all the festivals and European shows
  11. I think Mike is intentionally contradicting himself and the rest of the band just to keep the questions rising. Him deleting his tweet about guests, and now Brad mentioning makes it seem like it's going to happen. Either the label wants it to keep things a surprise until the album is officially announced, or maybe they're not gonna make the album track list? Highly doubt it though considering they hardly do it and wouldn't waste their time
  12. Unfortunately, I'm not holding my breath for Rob to break out the double base. Just look at Victimized. That crazy base during Mike's verse was sampled live. Kind of a buzz kill. Who knows, maybe this newly found energy will change his mind
  13. After letting this settle for a bit, I think an announcement of the album will be released by July 2014. However, I think they're gonna do a similar schedule to last year's album touring cycle. They'll start touring early summer in Europe and other countries then they'll hit the states in the fall with an August/September release date for the album
  14. Definitely called this a while back in one of my posts. They'll keep us die hard LP fans happy with LPU13 this winter, then probably drop a new single in the early spring and album in early summer much like they did in 2012. Very anxious. Seems like they realized that if they wanna stay relevant in this day and age they have to stay in the limelight as much as possible, and new music and yours will do just that
  15. Well, doesn't look like the song will be unlocked this week haha
  16. This touring cycle has been pretty pathetic. They've played only half of Living Things, stuck to predictable setlists, and barely touched the world in the sense of touring an album properly. When they play again they should jut shelve any new music for the love show and play the rest of LT first. I'll Be Gone and Powerless not being played is just wrong. In My Remains being dropped throughout the last leg of the tour was messed up too
  17. Is Set B the same set from Camden/LPU Summit?
  18. I love how everybody thinks LP is pissing off their fans by the lack effort and interests in their love sets... Why do you think they play so many singles? Mike openly admitted they cater to the "casual" LP fans who come shows, hence why shows like they do make the average radio listener fan goes crazy. Playing a rare live track or B-Side won't get the whole stadium wilded up. Hell, Victimized/QWERTY is a heavy/high energy track, but the crowd didn't reapond to it like they would Numb or Papercut. They feel they have to satisfy the average fans, not the ones who live by them and follow their lives to a T.
  19. Not really surprised by the set, nor do I care much, really. They played a bunch of singles (shocker) and more of the same with LT material. If anything, Castle of Glass should have taken Lies Greed Misery's place as opposed to In My Remains. No comparison there. The thing that annoys me the most about this band is not their live show. Its the lack of live shows they have planned. Now granted, I don't know jack shit about what's going on with them. I can't see the band just bending over and asking their fans to kiss their ass and be grateful they get what they get. The fact that they're not touring for close to 6 months after this month means something. The fact that this soundtrack they're doing for Joe and The Mall is counting as a record under their WB contract doesn't surprise me one bit. They're more than likely trying to get out from under big business' thumbs, and do the bare minimum possible just to piss them off. (ie, lack of touring) I could also be completely wrong and they could be living like rich, lazy slobs because they're getting older and want to spend more time on other things and their families and friends. The one true thing I've discovered about being an LP fan is this... WE EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM THEM!!! I will happily admit that. No band's gonna release a record that's gonna satisfy everyone. No band is gonna create a live show that everyone will enjoy. (though I believe they could do a hell of a lot better and choose not to) If anything, they're starting to cave to us by releasing new material quicker like they promised. (finally) All in all, what this band has taught me is to not care so much. Listen to different artists, go to different shows, and stretch your interests, like they have clearly been doing for the last half a decade. Once you learn to care less, you'll be surprised by how much you'll enjoy the outcome, especially since you're not building up impossible expectations that are bound to disappoint... End rant!
  20. Since I never pass up an opportunity to dream up a set list haha here's mine... 1. New Divide 2. Points of Authority 3. Lying From You/Papercut (Or VICTIMIZED/QWERTY) 4. No More Sorrow (Or Given Up) 5. IN MY REMAINSs 6. From The Inside/Don't Stay (New Mash-Up Idea) 7. Waiting For The End (w/Until It Breaks & Outro) 8. Somewhere I Belong 9. Reading My Eyes (Or With You & Runaway) 10. I'LL BE GONE (Or Breaking The Habit) 11. The Little Things Give You Away (Or Burning In The Skies) 12. Medley 13. POWERLESS (Or Crawling) 14. The Catalyst 15. CASTLE OF GLASS 16. Numb 17. LOST IN THE ECHO 18. BURN IT DOWN 19. In The End. Encore 20. Forgotten (Or A Place For My Head) 21. Bleed It Out 22. What I've Done 23. One Step Closer 24. Faint
  21. Hear hear! Couldn't agree more! Chester either takes it WAY TOO EASY on that song who his voice just can't handle it. At least with NMS you get a high energy/tempo song that he do justice. As for the songs I voted for... Forgotten, Easier To Run, The Little Things Give You Away & Burning In The Sky. TLTGYA I've seen once, and would be nice to see what little twist they add to it, especially since that song is so big and means so much to them. The rest are all songs I love, and have not had the pleasure of seeing live. To be honest, in order for LP to truly wow and satisfy their hardcore fans is to not only have revolving sets, but also revolving songs on those sets as well. I think their excuse before was "they repeat sets on order to practice and put on a good show" and "samples and so on have to be pre-programmed in." At this point I'm sure they're fully capable of stacking their live gear to the point where any song could be played at any point. And I doubt they'll keep the same sets from Europe and USA for this tour cause Chester specifically said I'll Be Gone and Powerless will likely debut on this tour, not to mention Castle Of Glass
  22. Not really a fan of the Shadow of the Day change. It's too strange of a transition to hear those strings and then the ones that (I'm assuming Mike plays on the keyboard) come in after the first chorus and played throughout the 2nd verse and chorus. No Roads Left just took the formula from the Iridescent single mix, which is stupid since both of those songs don't need their tempo uped and build gradually like they should
  23. I was with Mark when we were listening to it. Remember both of us thinking it had an ATS/Wretches vibe to it. And it was definitely so sudden that none of us thought to record it. The guy probably would have told us to stop or he would have shut it off lol
  24. Castle of Glass and Powerless should debut here cause festival shows usually draw big crowds and those 2 aren't the high energy classics that shows like that demand. With Christmas looming and mood set I think this show is their best bet to debut new songs. Plenty of time in between shows for rehearsals
  25. No interest in these from a remix standpoint, but damn am I excited to listen to the vocals. It always drives me crazy with the harmonies and whether or not its Chester or Mike doing them
