  1. Thanks Skipees. Woah... $82.
  2. I don't think I'd wear that tank top, not exactly an exciting colour is it? Ten years ago they had a great LPU strappy top/fitted girls hoodie which I loved/lived in and I would probably still wear now if it still fit or hadn't faded. What's the price for the bundle? I'm not in the LPU at the moment, it ran out in July and I can't afford to renew yet.
  3. It'd be 'Linkin Park without Chester Bennington'
  4. I know it's stupid, it just seems to wind me up, like I say, I think it'd because of all the crap I used to get as an LP fan back when they were thought of as a boyband. And they are talking about LP - half the posts talk about how shit LP are. I just wish they'd hurry up and get over it, I was sympathetic 3 months ago and some of the Chester bashing in unnecessary. Just so you know, I'm not that angry by it, I'm not sat in my room listening to Meteora and relating, I'm ok. I'll rephrase it to "I'm mildly irked by their attitude to Chester, the lovely singer in my favourite band"
  5. I'm very back and forth on the whole situation but deep down I know that rising above the hate is the best option and really hoping Chester goes out there and serious kicks ass and shuts all the haters up. I am sure Chester is more than capable of rising to the occasion. (performance related/non dirty pun)
  6. The Chester hate makes me really angry, I feel like a teenager again trying to justify my love for LP to my heavy mental loving friends. I do kind of worry that some idiots are gonna go to the shows just to cause trouble and throw shit. I welcome you guys to go there and provoke them.... I'm just going to lurk though (or maybe join and just post fangirl topless pictures of Chester to wind them up) It really annoys me when people have a difference of opinion to me - what's that all about?!
  7. Mysteries aren’t mysteries for very long round here!! Come on, back in the Mystery Machine!
  8. It is very odd. I went to the November Manchester show and before that saw them at Leeds Festival in the August before. I don't remember anything about a September show, if I had I would have booked tickets!! And as far as I can remember the November tour wasn't a rescheduled tour, it was always supposed to be November. (I was on holiday those September dates so seems unlikely) Perhaps Simon got hold of provisional dates before it was actually confirmed?
  9. Scott Weiland for Guns n Roses!? Hee hee I still think they'll throw a couple of covers songs in there to try and engage the fans that are there just there to see Chester and they'll avoid some of the more 'Scott' songs that they'll know fans associate deeply with him and are perhaps personal to Scott (if they're feeling kind and mature about the whole thing). I also think Chester should wear his glasses on the off chance people throw things at him.
  10. No, defintely meant Part Of Me, have they really never played it? Or Carousel? I wonder why that is. They aren't bad songs, better than Step Up IMO. Perhaps the obvious lyrical content?
  11. I'm having a total mental breakdown, I'm so sorry if this is the wrong thread... I feel like I've missed something here.... no ones mentioned Part Of Me....? Either they've played this very recently and I'm being completely stupid. Or Part of Me isn't even a Linkin Park song and I've made this all up in my head (which could be possible, though lyrically it's the best thing I've ever written - as a non song writer). Or Something happened to Part of Me and the LP fanbase as a whole should not speak of it and I've just broken some unwritten code and shit is about to hit the fan and I'm currently in danger. I feel confused
  12. Just in general, though Morning After does seem to be his 'go to song' so probably. If Chester was to do a solo Linkin Park song which would he pick? BTH? Numb? Or maybe he'll just do a couple of covers, Bucket of Weenies style. Endless possibilities.
  13. And maybe the odd Chester related LP/DBS song? Like Velvet Revolver used to do? *cometoukandnotjustlondoncometoukandnotjustlondoncometoukandnotjustlondon*
  14. They really better not. I've just bought a house.
  15. I can't remember the exact details but my presale for Living Things in the UK included a years membership with LPU and it pretty much guaranteed that there would be a UK tour with exclusive presale for it. I won't/cant complain too much though, I know that the UK is probably the second most toured country and it is nice that other places get them too. Yeah maybe, just like to see what's hiding under there. And yes, how many albums do they have with Warner until they're freeeee? 8? 10? (I'll go google but you'll probably know)
  16. Really really pissed me off. I hope Scott's hangover kicks in and he feels shitty about what he said. Sounding out like that will do him no good whatsoever, I had respect for how he was dealing with it before but not now. I hope Chester kicks ass and all the LP fans drown out any STP haters. I wish I could go since I actually like STP!
  17. I'm glad someone agrees with me, I thought it was just me being bitter because they hadn't come to the UK and that if they had I'd feel differently about it and LT.
  18. That is kind of harsh! I'm sure, had they come to the UK and I'd seen them I would have loved their show. They always perform well, entertain and from what I've seen from this months shows Mike has really been on top form. I don't know, LT is probably my least favorite album, it just doesn't seem like that much effort went into it (in comparison to the others) and I find it confusing; I kind of feel like maybe LP agree with me. *shrug* Edit: having read my last sentence again, i realize I might sound harsh myself! Sorry Stich!
  19. Do we know nothing about the encore? No fireworks? Cakes? Rob take his top off? Anything exciting to mark the end of LT tour cycle?
  20. I like your optimism!! Course, if they bring out a kickass awesome album they can take as long as they want (within reason)!!
  21. *sigh* Last date of the Living Things tour..... and they didn't come to the UK, so disappointed I didn't get to see them. I know they turn over albums quicker now but they might not play live again until the end of 2014 or start of 2015!! Or Kroq Almost Accoustic at Christmas.
  22. Officially my new favorite image of Linkin Park. I'm at work trying to hide my giggle.
  23. No. Edit: Actually the unsure smilie is inaccurate
  24. Yeah, I don't think he's big over our side of the pond. I had to Wikipedia him. I love how happy Mike always looks when he does a collaboration.
  25. I don't like the CAP's either, looks odd in my iTunes and seems needlessly agressive.
