  1. What if we will have various versions of the same song that is identical on different sources. What I mean for example: A Place For My Head (Album) 2-track demo 7-track demo 8-track demo 9-track demo let's imagine 2 and 7-track demos are identical, and then 8 and 9-track versions are identical, but at the same time 7 and 8-track versions are different. Asteriscs won't help in this case.
  2. It can be useful for cases when someone finds that there's some other source for the same song, and he wonders if it is exactly the same, or has some differences. If we don't add it - he can think that we didn't know about its existence. We can just make something like: In The End (album) [identical: RAID OST, In The End single, etc.] Maybe it's not really perfect way of doing it, but you got the point.
  3. Are they still sold somewhere?
  4. I'll add the lengths as soon as I get to my PC, and it can be somewhere on the weekend. Also, actually we can add all official sources, such as OST, Soundtracks, official compilations, and just note, that these versions are exactly the same as for example album or single version. Oh, btw, HTEP songs have black font again, which is unreadable on Reanimation forum theme.
  5. Added clean-dirty, as it can be forgotten.
  6. One thing - we need to add exact time for each track. I think I'll do it later today... or not (cause I won't be home, damn it)... I just want it to be done by the same person for all of the tracks using the same software, and using proper FLAC rips with EAC, so that we have exact length with milliseconds. And we should add original album versions too. BTW, for each HTEP song - there should be two versions: original and LPU reissue. They are different. Oh, and also we can add Japan albums, as they have different mastering (or whatever) if someone can describe the differences. At least, as far as I remember - spectral frequency for those albums are quite different comparing to US albums.
  7. Yeah, I think we should also throw them in. So we can combine a remix thread with this one too.
  8. Well, while driving to work today, I thought that it would be cool to combine all of the comparison threads into one big informational thread. What I mean is: we can create a list of various songs version, and write how are they different. But as opposed to already existing lists, this one will include every possible version we have, such as Radio versions, Alternate mixes, Demos, Clean/Dirty versions, etc. We can use original Album version as standard version, and compare every other with this one. Do you think it is a good idea?
  9. Added link to that post to the main post... Also, Part Of Me from HTEP is also 12+ minutes. There are also 2 HTEP versions - original, and LPU re-issue. And both of them are 12+ minutes.
  10. Black font is invisible on Reanimation forum theme. So you'd better change it to something different.
  11. Someone should ask him for original files...
  12. Full show in HD. Dunno if it's the same source as already posted:

Some people say that there was some kind of demo tape that included some Grey Daze demos (probably Commit and Come One) as well as 'Sean Dowdell and his Friends' track - Kill The Flies. I tend to believe, that 'Kill The Flies' was only released on SDAHF 3-track tape, and was never again used with Grey Daze tracks anywhere. Sean: kill te flies was from SD and His Friends and 3 songs on that tape were, Painted Pictures, God's Afraid, and Kill the Flies. nothing to do with Grey Daze Commit and COme on were from another demo tape from Grey Daze it was not used in Grey Daze
  14. If I remember correctly, Sean confirmed that Killing Flies is SDAHF song only. Nothing to do with Grey Daze.
  15. No, the album does not exist. It's just separate demos. And, btw, as far as I know - Kill The Flies is NOT a Grey Daze demo.
  16. Am I mistaken, or should this thread be called "...unreleased..."?
  17. Probably just the drums that Chester play in Blackout.
  18. Awesome news! Can't wait to hear new music from them. Hope that there will be a physical CD, as I'm not fond of buying digital music.
  19. Today I read that MTV asked Linkin Park to do something with Jay-Z after hearing some DJ's mashup of One Step Closer / 99 Problems. Has anyone heard this story before? I heard, that MTV approached Jay-Z, and he then picked LP for the project. Was it MTV who then called LP, or was it Jay-Z/his management?
  20. It might be useful, in case when someone finds out about the recording, and won't find Walk there. They might think that our guide is incorrect. I, personally, think that adding this source info won't hurt anyone.
  21. Can someone transcribe the video? Cause it's hard for me to get what he's talking.
  22. Maybe because the more time passes - the more valuable those tapes get?
  23. Hmm, I had this source for a while now... Strange that it was considered rare. I even found a date when I added it to my trading site: http://allen.ua/~litn/index.php?subaction=...&ucat=& It was in December 2009.
  24. I suppose they could've easily played My December that way too.
  25. Stone Temple Pilots Setlist: xx. Big Empty xx. Pretty Penny
