  1. CRAWWWWWLING FROM WOODWORK, THIS BAND IS FUUUULLL OF JERRRRRKKKS
  2. true, I don't think they could do a new album promo/tour and miss out the uk, either way even if it's before/after the US tour I'd still be happy with that.
  3. true, I was pretty sure it's not them. I notice all these "OMG NEW SNIPPET" videos on YT never actually have Chester/Mike's vocals on them... funny that...
  4. this? even if this isn't LP, i still think it sounds pretty cool
  5. i think he meant "judging by the title it sounds like..." I don't think anyone but management/mixers etc will have heard the full tracks it is also rather silly to be judging what a track may or may not sound like on the basis of a title. we had this discussion for Burn It Down...
  6. "lies" govern all things LP
  7. we all do son, we all do... imagining us UK fans huddling in a cave around a laptop against the coming winter, desperately awaiting word from the outside
  8. i guess 1 hour's not too big a deal...? I too don't think I'll be pre-ordering from the band's site. postage from US always takes ages and costs alot. the remixes are tempting, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll find another way to get hold of them ... probably Amazon for me, pre-orders from them typically arrive before the official release date (well, my copy of ATS did) which is always nice
  9. hah! "obnoxious edition" I'd quite like a copy of each version in the sort of super-mega- leagues, but money's fairly tight right now. I kind of gave up collecting now that my student loan goes towards actually having to feed myself (and since my Paypal was trying to share out my password to random websites :/ - closed that shit down) you never know, someone somewhere (perhaps not on here) could be selling it, but i'd wager that anyone who's got it, will keep it for a long time (since it's recent LP history). not something you'd spend mega bucks on then grow out of within a few years - you gotta be a pretty hardened collector in the first place to want it when it came out methinks
  10. solved. thanks for the hour count somedude, I was about to try and figure out the time difference - saved me a job
  11. hahah alright, ok we've had a lot of fake shit in the past few days - can't blame me fore being skeptical anyway, there is a newswire thread for the album tracklisting, so lets try to keep that discussion in this thread
  12. shit, that's pretty cool. I've alreday got the usual edition, the tour edition and the "book" one. happy with my current overload of MTM I was 16 when that came out, but wasn't collecting until '10 so yeah, proper missed that one
  13. while the ticket offer is pretty much useless to someone in the uk [/grumble] the monthly remix thing sounds interesting. I love knowing track names before hearing the songs. intrigue and that
  14. good times what's the super fan edition? (nice sig. by the way )
  15. chester's vocal line on the words like know and glow are very "classic" - "kno-A-o-Oh-" he does the exact same pattern on Iridescent on the "let it go" lines i was kind of humming along to BID and i found myself doing that same melody along to chester without even knowing it was coming up. it's nice though, i like that little progression he does, it's like a signature. EDIT: the lines "we're building it up/to break it back down" are sung quite similarly to the "lift me up/let me go" in The Catalyst, I can see these two being mashed-up together dear remixers, you're welcome. sincerely LGraham
  16. mo' monay hand't realised these were new tracks from that show. still, nice to have a proper release...
  17. haha yeah ok, SOMEDUDEREMIX HAS DONE ALL THE BITCHING ABOUT THIS ALBUM THAT IS NECESSARY. THERE IS NO NO MORE THAT CAN BE SAID. bitching © SOMEDUDE REMIX
  18. I've never voiced an opinion on the Catalyst (partly because i wasn't actively posting on here when ATS came out) but I don't feel particularly strongly towards it. it's a kind of "meh" song, which is probably better reason for it to have not been a first single than tha fact it was going to be putting a bee hive in some fans' matresses... and on that last point i think the term "both" may apply. i can't wait for all this "where's the guitar? they promised a return to hybrid theory roots, which must have meant a nu-metal album, what changed?" discussions to begin again [/sarcasm]
  19. gotcha, i thought i saw his member group was banned a little while ago. might have been banned again, who knows
  20. when is apple not cashgrabbing...? also, this topic title confused the hell out of me - "they didn't play Burn It Down at the iTunes Festival...?" nevermind. understand now
  21. proof that a full song is a better indication of *ahem* the full song than a snippet. that rap took me by surprise though haha. it's not the most complex song in structural terms, yes, but does that really matter? also, the verse lyrics are much better than what the chorus lyrics from the snippet had made me anticipate. lovely stuff. will check out the album stuff too now EDIT: wow that art is COOL. i like that even though there's not a vast departure from ATS, the art still feels unique, I like that alot of my favourite bands out so much work into the visuals of their band - LP, MCR, 30STM, etc. I am proper excited for the full release now 1st single video!!!!
  22. amen to hopes of UK dates
