Same. also locking this thread at this point (i know it was said after the announcement was made) would be absolutely a bad move. Why? Because this is a great part of LPL's community, fun speculation and "giddy" fan chatting about the new album / speculation on announcement. Also we're seeing many users who don't normally post, come in and chat. After the announcement is made (as was said when will be closed i know), well then of course.

Its possible numb. But what else do we KNOW by now: The album is pretty much complete. The album title is pretty much complete. The cover art is pretty much... complete. They're going to be touring Europe very soon. They just shot a new music video, for the new single, from their new album. Thats a good amount of information right there. Also, the reason why I say things are "pretty much complete" is based on Mike's tweet saying things were "almost finished" and "just waiting to be confirmed."

Since LP's twitter just posted about the video shoot, it looks like that may be the big announcement.

Same question, Mike told of a big announcement, yet both his Twitter and LP's have been silent ten hours later. However, the day is NOT over.

Dang, its 9:06 PM here love how this is such an global community. With that said, we should assume Mike meant the same day as he was in, when he posted his tweet, as in whatever time zone his was. We should know soon.

So with Phoenix's tweet, we now know they are in the process of creating a new music video for a new single, from the new album. Lets see if any other new info is given.

Very interesting tease from LP's twitter. Without a doubt looking forward to hearing what it is. A guess would be album title, and announcing its complete. Artwork would make it all the better though.

Seems pretty incorrect to me.

"The new album of the American artists will be released in summer 2010 and presented live on stage during the kick-off of their international tour on October 20th, 2010 at O2 World Berlin." With this statement (which may not be entirely true) I'm gonna bet the album is released late August or in October.

Agreed it'd be nice not to listen to any of the album before it comes out, in fact knowing that as soon as a snippet comes out, it will be the talk of the forum, I may take some time off, just because its like a spoiler. I'd like to listen from beginning to end without any preconceptions, just a new album to have fun with.
