  1. From what I've seen from the trailer, I don't care for it. Now of only Crank 2 had LP working with it and a new song on it.
  2. If they hate Warner and Machine Shop so much, why don't they find another record company?
  3. So I take it Mike is done with Fort Minor. You wouldn't think Mike would just let SOB hangin' like that. Thanks for the post!
  4. Although I doubt someone types for Rob and Dave, you're right about Mike. He cares about what we have to say. Being the band leader, I suppose that's natural. I don't like it when Brad answers questions with humorous answers that makes you think, or doesn't make sense. One think the I am very pissed about is the god-damn mods. This is the honest truth: Every band chat I've been, every question I've asked has NEVER been passed. I'm serious. I've looked at every transcript from my first band chat with Rob in 2007 to now. My question has never been passed. I honestly believe the LPU chat needs new mods that passes the questions. I am tired of DarkYath and darknessoverme being assholes. Yes, the chat was boring. I left not too much longer after my letter ( got done. Whomsoever's bright idea to talk nothing but Music For Relief needs to realize that having a chat about one thing is gonna upset fans. No wonder there was only about 250 people as opposed to 650 when Chester was there. Mike and Chester have the best band chats. I also feel that everyone should get their letter called upon to ask. The chats were it doesn't even make it all the way through are a waste of money.
  5. I don't think LP will be playing in the states this year. At least that have more shows this year than they did in 2005 & 2006.
  6. This show was my first real concert I was at. I have always wanted Linkin Park to play in Wisconsin again. The last time they had played here was 2004, back when I pretty new to them. When I seen they were coming here again, I knew this was my chance to see the band I've always wanted to see. I was going to buy myself a ticket. I had missed the LPU pre sale. Music For Relief wanted people to work in the booth and would see LP for free. I knew that was my opportunity. Well, along came a post on the LPU about someone from Alaska giving two tickets for free to this particular place. I couldn't believe it. The guy said he couldn't go because he didn't have the money to go, and Alaska is quite a ways away from Wisconsin. He wanted his son in Chicago to go, but he couldn't go either. So this guy had people email him to see who he should give the tickets to. I sent him an email explaining that I live in the state the concert is at, and I've always wanted to see LP. I got an email back saying I got them. I couldn't believe this happened. I got the tickets in the mail and kept them in a safe spot. I wanted my best friend to go, but I didn't have a car then, and our parents wouldn't let us go alone. So I asked by brother, and he said he go. Seeing that East Troy is way down near Illinois, my brother had his best friend pick me up and drop me off at my other brother's house for two nights. My bro picked my up from our other brother's house, bought some snacks & soda, then went to Alpine Valley. My brother knows East Troy pretty well, and has been to alpine before. There were a ton of people tailgating. The smell of brats and burgers, people playing Linkin Park through their car stereos. It was a great sight. I had always imagined the place larger than it was. When we got there. Armor For Sleep was playing on the Revolution Stage. We really didn't see any of the Rev Stage bands. Saw a little bit of Atreyu. We watched all the bands on the Main Stage. My brother was most happy to be there because Chris Cornell was there. He didn't know who he was until Cornell played. Him being able to see Linkin Park and Chris Cornell for free really made my brother happy. Things weren't working well for him then, but going to that concert with me is really something he needed. We both said this is the happiest we've ever seen each other. So on the show review: I was thrilled with the setlist LP played at the show. The biggest reason was because No More Sorrow was the show opener, and Pushing Me Away was the studio version. It kind of seemed like LP wasn't too much into the crowd that much. Chester said it was a good crowd, Mike said about he saw people with old-school LP shirts, and Papercut was for them. He said a little "Hell Yeah!" before Chester sang the first verse to Points Of Authority. Chris Cornell & Chester was pretty damn good on Crawling. What really shocked me, and turned my opinion was the start of Bleed It Out. Mike & Chester with rockstar wigs on and playing a cover of the 2nd verse from Sweet Child O' Mine. Overall, I was thrilled with a great performance. Chester did mess up on What I've Done. I wish I could have had a Meet & Greet but I was fortunate to have what I got. Things worked out for me that night because my brother's best friend lives in East Troy. I stayed the night at his place with my brother, then his friend drove me back home. I was very lucky things worked out this way, and it's one I'll never forget.
  7. I like the dark one the best, but since the LPU has been dark every year, I think LPL shouldn't.
  8. Meteora was released on the 25th, not the 24th... I know this because my mom's birthday is on the 25th of March. Anyways, Meteora FTW!
  9. I have the DVD, but don't have anything to rip the audio off with.
  10. Torrents take forever to download, & some even have viruses. So how am I supposed to get the live performance of Collision Course?
  11. I would love to have these 2 shows in MP3: Rock Am Ring 2004 Collision Course Live (Ripped from the DVD) If you could get those to me, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
  12. I would love to hear the rips from Live In Texas. No, not the CD. DVD. The original performance, not all edited. I know it's gotta be out there somewhere.
  13. Only way to find out is to ask Mike.
  14. I would for sure get the East Troy poster, but it looks nasty and emo. A woman licking a pole.
  15. It was simply amazing! Here's my story: sorry if it gets to lengthy. I saw that Linkin Park was coming to Wisconsin this year, and I told myself I had to go. This was the 2nd time since I was a LP fan that they came to Wisconsin. The first time was in 2004, and I didn't know it then. Someone on the LPU said they had 2 tickets to the show in East Troy, WI. He said that it was free. Email him if you would like the tickets. That was my golden opportunity. I emailed him and said that I had never seen Linkin Park before, and they were playing in the state I live in. He could not go because of financial problems, and lives too far away. I was going to but the tickets if I didn't get them from him. He wrote back and told me he would gladly give them to me. I had 2 free tickets. I wanted my best friend to go because he's a LP too, but his parents and mine would not let us go alone. I then wanted my brother to go with. His best friend picked me up 2 days before the concert. I spent a couple nights at my oldest brother's house with my nephews and nieces. The day of the concert, by other brother picked me up, and went to the store to buy some snacks. It was about an hour drive from the city my brother's live in. When we got there, there was a ton of people tailgating. Reminded me of a football game. I was amazed at how many people were playing Linkin Park from their vehicles. I was searching through my bag and I had forgotten my camera back at home. MY brother brought his with, but was low on batteries. We sat in the back of his van and had something to drink before we went in. The first band already started when we got there. I didn't care about seeing them. The two of us looked around, and saw the Monster Energy Drink truck, and all the people there. It was nice they gave free Monsters out. We both had the juiced one. Then we went to the NowWhat booth, and rolled a dice to see that we would get. My brother got a cell phone case while only got a wrist band. They also were taking free photos. We got ours taken. We couldn't find our seats until 4:00 so we watched Atreyu on the Rev Stage for awhile. There were too many people in front of it, so we didn't stay there too long. I waited in line in the Merchandise booth to buy a copy of the live audio while my brother went to buy a beer for himself. Time went by fast, and we then got to find out seats. My brother could not believe how good the seats were. Picture here. He said it was the best seat he ever had at a concert. At the other merch booth, my brother grabbed a couple brochures of the event for us. Street Drum Corps then started. Their music was different and I liked it. The Bravery was good. I liked them. Chris Cornell was awesome! My brother didn't know who he was until he heard his music. He knew every song Cornell played but his new ones. He was so happy he got to see Cornell. When Linkin Park took stage, every single person was standing, and just about every seat was filled. When SDC took stage first, there were a lot of empty seats, and everyone was sitting until Chris Cornell dedicated a song to everyone who was standing. I really liked SDC playing before LP, and on Bleed It Out. It made the show so amazing. I could not believe it, I was seeing Linkin Park for the first time in my home state. The kid next to me took my brochure earlier I put on the ground next to my chair. I told my brother and he said loudly "Who the fuck would steal a brochure?" I looked back later, and there it was. Must have put it back. That kid didn't even sing. Not a word. Both of us were so happy, and the weather was great that day (82° and slight wind). We could have asked for anything better. I normally wear earplugs when I hear loud noises, but I decided I was fine and didn't need them. After the show, I went to the merch booth and bough a Projekt Rev T-shirt. I really like it. When we got to the van, it was covered in dust. Everyone's vehicle was. We sat in the tailgate and waited for traffic to clear. A guy that worked there was driving on an ATV and told everyone that was still there about 11:30 that they have to go. My brother's best friend lives about 5 minutes from Alpine Valley. We slept over at his house, and I got taken home the next morning. As far as a review goes, I believe Linkin Park played at 110%. Chester did forget the lyrics at one part of What I've Done, but they are make mistakes, just like everyone does. Playing a lot of songs I like was nice. What I really didn't like was they didn't really seem to get into it like they do at other places. Chester only said "This is a good crowd." There was no "You guys are fuckin' awesome", or stuff like that. What do you expect for a lot of Illinois people there? That was one of the best highlights of the year for me, but it wasn't the best. When I got home, I emailed the guy who sent me the tickets and thanked him, and sent him some pictures my brother managed to get before his camera dies. I was very upset at how long it took for the show to get uploaded. 4 weeks. Overall, it was all good!
  16. Someone pushed the Panic button, and it's getting out of control. Where's the Easy button?
  17. Thanks for your support...
  18. Or just convert it online. I have Windows Media Player, and I'm not downloading any other media playing software. I had Winamp before my computer crashed.
  19. This CD can be tossed in the Bargain Bin. .
  20. Bubbles and No Laundry can be downloaded LINK REMOVED.
  21. I totally agree. *Will probably be buying online only pass.*
  22. Everyone is quick to blame Chester. Phoenix is the guilty one. Chester just went along with him.
