  1. interesting note.....there's a parental advisory sticker on one of the pictures in the bin......there's no swearing on HT.
  2. my guess would be there's something hidden in the pictures in the bin. try playing around with them in an editor
  3. I was in this chat and have the video saved. But I dont think I should share it as it belongs to mike and kerrang
  4. Sounds like Brian Howes leaked the demo then. And will not be working with Mike again......eeek.
  5. How did the intros get cut off of LPU 9? It was only when someone got hold of the acetate that we finally heard those intros
  6. There was no merch booth at Asotira show. I remember asking sercurity. Hope this helps
  7. My predictions for the night:- DJ Z-TRIP SET FULL OF CHESTER'S RECORD COLLECTION FAVOURITES REMIXED FALLOUT/ROADS UNTRAVELED CASTLE OF GLASS - MIKE FULL VOCALS INVISIBLE SORRY FOR NOW IN THE END - A7X NO DOUBT WHAT IVE DONE - BLINK 182 SOMEWHERE I BELONG - MACHINE GUN KELLY BREAKING THE HABIT - KIARRA GUILTY ALL THE SAME - JONATHON DAVIS LEAVE OUT ALL THE REST - JARED LETO REBELLION - SOAD WITH OLI SYKES FAINT - AUSTIN CARLISE ALL GUESTS TO COME OUT FOR ONE STEP CLOSER INSTRUMENTAL OF ONE MORE LIGHT FOR CROWD AND ARTISTS ON STAGE TO SING ALONG TO END THE NIGHT Whatever this night brings....it will be special. This is to celebrate the great life and gift Chester braught to us. I'm actually quite annoyed at some of the comments saying "i don't want other singers singing his songs" because they are missing the point of this event entirely.
  8. It's only slightly different as the drum sample comes in on the first pre chorus and stays there until Rob turns up with Live Drums. Anyone else hear anything different
  9. The backing sounds simular to what I've done but it does sound like Chester. FAKE? https://youtu.be/c0pv2bC-RMY
  10. From Phoenix's description these tracks mean nothing as singles but in context of the album they all mean a whole lot more. It's the equilevant of reading 1 chapter of a book and then making judgement on the book from the one chapter. It won't make sense as it's not in context of the whole body of work. I am still scared that I should just skip this album cycle as I really don't like the 2 singles. But I'm not condemning them for making a album I don't like, i do find it odd due to Mike's comments on the last cycle "i turned on my rock station and all i heard was pop songs" but it's part of their journey not mine. The fact that I have enjoyed all their albums to this point is a plus. There's plenty of other artists that turn me on and i'll just rejoin LP on the next cycle if they change it up once again.
  11. Seen these pop up on YouTube. Few new songs played. https://youtu.be/ym42bOGMe_g
  12. I wonder if they'll do a small euro dates like they did at the beginning of the MTM promo cycle. so that the trips make a bit of money other than the tv performances.
  13. Only Time. As in the saying only time will tell.
  14. Not sure if it's just another line above the logo or writing but if you increase the curve of the black even higher once you see the lpu logo there's something else that's appears. It might just be a shadow line tho
  15. why do i get the feeling that the song skipping at the beginning of Pod 3 is another song/demo? Sounds like a violin track. Like a teaser
  16. is the music in the background of these lpu demos? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiWsWG0v1Lw#t=24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XmCapXy_bo#t=35
  17. My thoughts 1.his back problem has progressed further during the time off 2. A family member has passed away and as all of linkin park keep their family lives seperate from the band that is maybe why it hasn't been brought up by the band. 3.hes left the band and management are trying to sort out how to announce it rather than mike just saying it and fans and press go into a frenzy.
  18. "i think we went too far" - MIke "I dont think we went too far" Page "put the heavy shit there" Page "put the heavy shit right here?" Mike
  19. Astat, stop with this, you know as well as others you can still double track and use the quote "live to tape" if not i've underestimated you. Well Foo Fighters was recorded to tape but it was done in takes, so i assume the same way. So no computer editing, or quick fixes is what they mean. They watched sound city without a doubt and got influenced. Watch this from 0.54. if you dont understand
  20. does anyone remember those cd's that had mp3s on them that you could only play the track like 3 times and then it was unreadable. i remember an oasis one that came free with a paper. why dont they just use that medium. yeah someone might rip it on the first try but a lot of media would listen to it once or twice and then leave it on the side and then if someone stole it it'd be unreadable
  21. also mark the graves has the notes "vocal tune and comp" which i assume are pitch correction and compression. so doesnt sound like a completly "raw" album as Astat has already mentioned none of their albums are vocal raw, they all have some sort of pitch correciton/auto tune on them also....i think i was correct earlier by saying had they been influenced by dave grohl's sound city documentary. they seem to be reocrding to tape and that looks like a Neve console as well.
  22. noone getting on the "joe's got his own section in wastelands, yay" bandwagon
  23. this song really showcases rob's talent as a drummer. everyone else pretty much sits back, apart from the guest.
  24. lyrically to me it sounds like it's having a go at the label/fans again like "when they come for me " was. it's a sort of "fuck you, we do what we want" song
