This is good news. The TF films have gotten worse with each one and the new one looks to continue the trend. I highly doubt LP will contribute a song to the soundtrack because if they did, then they'd just stay on as the "TF band" and there'd be no announcment about ID

Doubt I'll order from LP since the "street date" is US which is 4 days after the EU release date. Sucks waiting extra days for digital download and weeks for package delivery. I'll just go to my local place and get physical copy. If they'd release the digital download where appropriate, depending on your country instead of making everyone wait until the US release date, then I'd order from LP

I had a feeling we'd get a making of for THP. The little video snippets of GATS more or less confirmed that for me. As for UIT being released on May 30th, most likely that's the physical CD single. Digitial will arrive before then.

Two more collabs on the album even though Mike said it was unlikely there'd be anymore other than Rakim. Middle of summer release could be accurate but then again, given what Mike said above, it wouldn't surprise me if they sprung this album on us by surprise Who knows?!

^^ I don't get the big deal if GATS "reminds" some fans of HT or Meteora. I can understand what they're saying. "Reminds" is very different than saying "sounds like". That's where the difference is. For the casual fan its understandable but for the hardcore fan........how f**king dare you!

Gave it a couple of listens and I like it overall. I wish Chester was more..."Chester" and Mike did the rapping but other than that I like it. I've never heard of Rakim but then again, its not my scene. However, just because someone is considered a legend, doesn't mean I gotta like them

The crowd sing along with a lot of LP songs. BIO, BTH, ITE, APFMH, LFY to name just a few. Its certain sections of the song and its encouraged by the band. It feels just the right amount of crowd participation to band performance IMO. However, what 30STM do is really poor in comparison. I'm sure 30STM don't see it that way and think its awesome. Likewise for their diehard fans singing their hearts out. For me, as a casual fan of 30STM, I like their studio stuff but they're really poor live.Even when Leto does sing, he barely sings a full line or chorus because he's so out of breath from running all over stage.In comparison, Chester moves around a lot, dances, jumps etc but is still able to give a damn good live performance and doesn't skip words, sing unfinished lyrics due to be out of breath.

+1 I remember being excited to see them live a few years back but they stank. Leto ain't good at singing live...when he does eventually sing of course. I remember thinking...'hey man, I paid to hear YOU sing, not 5,000 fans' So bad!

Its possible because in my country, our biggest broadcaster (RTE) is always using LP's music. They've been doing it for years usually as the background music for sports highlights or a clip of an upcoming movie/tv show. They use the lesser known stuff too such as the CRWLNG track from Reanimation. Also, on a few occasions, they've remixed certain tracks before using them I can only assume that whoever is responsible for the sound is a big LP fan FYI - RTE in Ireland is equivalent to say BBC in the UK or NBC in the US. Everyone has it! Not really related to the thread, I know, but I thought I'd share anyway

It makes sense for the whole thing to be televised because its a MFR concert. The goal is raise money so televising it with details of how to donate would be an obvious way to go IMO But then again, you could be right sir!

People are really not liking that the WFTE intro is referred to as the Apaches intro. Maybe they chose that because the name sounds cooler than Foot Patrol intro?? I'd like to here a Blackout demo. We know from the LPTV episode years ago that it had slightly different lyrics

I had a listen to the album on Youtube earlier. Maybe my tastes have changed but I don't like it Primo is great but I've had my fill of instrumentals for a while now. UIB is not a favourite of mine so the demos appeal to me even less than the instrumentals. I have zero interest in listening to those session tracks So, I won't be buying & frankly, I don't think I'll bother getting it by other means either. Final thought: Hemispheres sounds like a ghetto ice-cream van tune!

Sucks that you bought the album 3 times. Although, you say you bought the album separately to the all in one bundle so you could get the digital download. It begs the question...why would they offer the digital download with CD purchase but not give a digital download with the all in one purchase? Makes no sense See what I'm getting at here?

I'm like you. Questionable means first and then if I like it, I'll buy. Recharged was the first LP release ever that I didn't like so I haven't bought it. If I see it really cheap somewhere, I'll pick it up. It might be a long time before that happens though
