  1. What is your favorite Linkin Park live moment and why? From 2000 to now, whether it's a show you've been to or not, what is your favorite moment of the band's live history? Though i've heard countless recordings of live performances, nothing beats your first LP concert. Mine happenend to be the first PR stop in '08, Mansfield, Mass. on July 16th. One of the best days of my life. If i had to get more specific, BIO was AMAZING, and still one of my favorite recordings, hands down, of anything live or even studio recorded.
  2. that's because z-trip is made of pure awesomez
  3. While looking at this year's line up for sxsw, i managed to stumble upon AmpLive's (of Zion I) website. http://amplivesworld.com/music/ Check the last item on that page. It's "Place 4 My Head" Remix DL: http://www.zionicrew.com/amplive/linkinpark.zip
  4. isn't that "stories of the lost" the winner mike picked from a contest? i forget the website, but it was like, write a song and record with mike or something....
  5. so incredibly excited that there'll be a vinyl option. loooove vinyl. yesyesyes finally some demos!
  6. i'm beginning to think he misjudged how doing both DBS and LP would take a drain on him
  7. hahaha holy crap please tell me someone else saw that water bottle hit mike's mic stand
  8. hahaha but on topic, there's a lil toooo much bitching going on. c'mon guys. they're a BAND, and as such, it is their job to play THEIR popular songs and singles. The majority of the people attending the concerts are there to hear singles and stuff they know, not b-sides and older hybrid theory cuts. LP needs to appeal to the people they're playing for, not the super obsessed fans that inhabit these boards. The most they can REALISTICALLY do is throw in a few new things (ie. outros, intros, one or two b-sides, etc.) to appease hardcore fans with something different while still catering to generic concert goers. so yeah. typical set. of course we'd all like more, but it's what you should expect from a band of their stature playing to such a large audience.
  9. Hey Mark, Do you still have the scan of my ticket stub from the Providence, Rhode Island Fort Minor Show (Feb 4, 2006)? I emailed it to you a few times way back when. I'm only askin cuz it'd be a pain to re-scan it (i've got it framed with a poster and whatnot). I've also got some posters from that show, and tickets/posters from the Mansfield PR08 show that i'll upload soon.
  10. You misinterpreted. Since when is it "our" cd? It's LP's. WE buy if we want to. They can do what they want with it, record what they want, and listen to us or not. Why the hell would they allign THEIR release to OUR standards? What ONE fan wants is ENTIRELY different from what ANOTHER fan wants. Some people are loving this cd! That wasn't my point. My point was that they gave these SPECIFICALLY to the fanclub. These songs won't be and aren't b-sides on a single, they won't be in anyone's DSP, they aren't from a live show, etc. That's the first time this is true of a LPU cd other than HTEP. And now THAT'S not even true because of SftU. THESE songs are unique to the LPU. who cares if they're silly? If YOU don't like them, that sucks, but you can't tell a band that their release that THEY chose isn't good enough. They weren't trying to make a serious EP. I'm so shocked how seriously this has divided the community hahaha.
  11. People neglect to realize that they don't owe us anything. Hell, they don't even have to include a cd! Even if you don't like the cd, or can't realize that they're trying to have a good time, you should at least respect that they did this specifically for the LPU. SPECIFICALLY FOR THEIR FAN CLUB. where as every other cd has been live recordings or collections of b-sides/remixes, THIS was recorded JUST FOR THE FANCLUB. How many times have MOST of you complained that they never acknowledge the LPU anymore? And now that they finally do something ESPECIALLY for the fanclub, you rip them a new one! And i obviously don't mean everyone. obviously. The people who i'm talking about know who they are. Lighten the hell up. You don't like it? Fine. They tried. You do like it? Equally FINE. You aren't owed anything.
  12. True. The CD is a major selling point. But it isn't the complete package. I agree that they could've done better, but i can't believe people are actually HATING on them for this! They could've done worse; they could've even removed the cd as a package item entirely! If you don't want to buy it, fine. There are people that will .... And the package without a cd is still worth the price of the package.
  13. Wow guys. way to tell them that they aren't allowed to have fun. It's like, they decided to fool around and SHARE it with their fans only to recieve "OH MY GOD THIS IS SHIT WHER IS THE REAL STUFF". Like, shut down much? Lighten up! It's better than 6-10 Live songs we've heard SEVENTHOUSANDTIMES
  14. My opinion? EPic. It's a thooooooousand times better than LPU7
  15. The Songs from the Underground cd cover looks pretty cool. Totally reminds me of the graffiti artist Banksy.
  16. who won the 4K!?!? people seem to have forgotten that there were two separate contests! {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif
