Yeah C sharp would make much more sense since it was the tuning they used on guitars for Meteora/HT But it would be even cheesier, I think. @SDR Well you could say its see flat but then again it's followed by it ain't my tone which makes us think it's about the note C flat. Oh whatever, it's rap lyrics, I guess it doesn't always have to make sense.

But in music theory it's different saying C flat and B. Practically though, it's the same thing.

Actually it's so WTF-ish that it's enjoyable! I like the mood changes, especially between Mike's 2 parts and Chester's almost medieval sounding part.

No, Muse does not combine rock and electronica. They just use some background electronic effects on some of their songs, and that does not mean they're combining. Bands that strongly combine rock and electronica is NIN, Enter Shikari, Radiohead, LP (now I guess).

Damn they should release a "making of" dvd. It's so great to see them having fun making this album, and reading the comments on youtube. Moar, plz!

Me me me. But I dont actually see the resemblance between those two. Maybe because of the electro feel on LITE? Dunno. I like how Chester pronnounces some words on STB, like the way he says "ash to ashes". But it still doesn't get me as a song...

I think that's just one way to see it. Linkin Park's change for me was not so succesful on M2M and ATS because they forced themselves into it, and I think this was obvious on those albums. They would imeddiately throw away everything that sounded like Hybrid Theory in the writing proccess, and that's what forced them into trying new things that they were not familiar with and ended up delivering 2 albums that seemed out of the water for them and didn't reach the high Hybrid Theory standards (M2M is way better than ATS imo though). What they should have done is evolve their sound from what they had already built and add new elements, as they did in Living Things, which for me sounds like what should have come after Meteora.
