Well I haven't heard good things from people who've been to recent show, and I'm not a huge fan of their music. I've listened casually, but I've never felt the need to listen to a whole album. Plus it's just annoying that because they're on the bill they'll be hiking up the ticket price.

The Woodlands is a phenomenal arena. Best outside venue I've been too. Only downside might be that it's really hot. Those are not cheap prices, and I have others saying it'll be similar to that. Ugh I don't have that much. Might be getting seats if I get anything.

This is all but confirmed, which I assume will happen this week. Anyone wanna take a guess at ticket prices? I'm definitely going to Houston, but I have a feel the tickets are going to be too much for me to go to another show this year.

Just looking back and I think it's interesting that when HCT was announced we had a week before the presale. I wonder why, if the Friday date is right, we're getting such little time? Or if that radio thing is an exclusive. Here's the HCT article.

Well the text under the FB page says tickets go on sale Friday. THIS Friday. So the whole smoke thing might be LP doing a huge announcement of Tour/Album/Single. I wish it was later in March. I need more time to get money together. Probably just going to one show, if I can go at all. Seriously bummed by the 30stm being the supporting group. I would have loved for it to have been Rise Against or for them to do their OWN tour. Keep prices down and let us pay for the group we actually wanna see.

Excellent! I can now plan for this. Gotta make it to the Woodlands this year and if not then I know for sure that Dallas will be right around it. Hoping that Texas can get the Summit. This is a pretty huge leak!

Tour schedule looks like what they would do with maybe some surprises for the B Cities. I REALLY hope that since Chicago and New York got the Summit, and West Coast just a lot of things in general, that the South will get some love. I doubt I'll be able to travel too far for the Summit this year. I honestly didn't think that they would have the album and tour put together this soon.

True but I think the pieces are too circular to be a puzzle. At least I hope not because that would be a pain in the butt to solve.

Anyone surprised that while LP is finishing the album, Mike is going to be helping teach a class? Always amazed by Mike's work ethic. Not even bothering with that article/interview after reading the comments. Seriously? This guy is clueless.

I'm pretty excited! I'm actually really glad that Mike really didn't say anything about how the album would sound like, since they never really know until they're done. I feel like I can go into this without any preconceived notions. I know Rick is supposed to be helping on this, but I think it would be cool to have Mike take the helm and maybe just consult a bit with Rick. Summer was earlier than I thought, but that's cool. Gotta start saving for the eventual US Tour.

Yeah I think Chester is having a lot of fun with STP. I honestly think it suites his voice more and I have 100x more plays of High Rise on my iPod right now than LIVING THINGS. Also STP isn't a sideband, Chester is in two legitimate bands and from the videos the STP stuff just translates better live for Chester than the recent LP stuff IMO.I wasn't able to make it to a show, but the videos I've seen really make me wanna go. I'd love to hear STP put out an explanation as to why this happened since the point of joining up with Chester was to prevent this from happening to begin with. I'm probably one of the few on this site who's looking forward to both STP and LP's new albums. I can be a fan of both projects.

This sucks. I can't imagine how frustrating this must be. I hope that they can reschedule for another time. I'm just really surprised right now.

I'm glad I can rewatch some of these. I completely missed COG. And you do have to take what we were all saying with a grain of salt considering a lot of lag and dropping was happening. As for BID, I think we all expected it to be bad because Chester was sick, but then he did a good job PLUS sang UP instead of ERP. They might add some more charity stuff in there. There was a video at the end of the concert that they showed with footage from the Philippines. The thing to remember is that LP did a great job organizing this and raising money for those affected by the typhoon.

Twitter saying Chester and Phoenix stuck around a bit for after the show.

Looks like they didn't drop the song because of Chester, but that was the original setlist. Good show. Mike E was awesome. WID and Iridescent were great! And the drum battle was awesome. I hope to rewatch as much of this show as possible. I'll be interesting to see which songs make the tv airing.

So excited for the Heart/LP collab!!!! That's more my personal music preference then some of the other collabs they've done. Also curious about the Filharmonic. I watched some of the Sing Off and they were pretty good.
