Linkin Park performing at the 1st Rock In Rio USA in Vegas

Bought my voucher. Couldn't pass up this opportunity. I can't wait! -
I liked the bit with Chester at the end.

Watch Mike and Brad answering some questions while playing basketball.

12th LPU Summit to be held in Amsterdam on Nov. 7th
Numbrocker replied to HybridParty's topic in Newswire
Houston was $90 but they had some extras at the door for $75 if you have LPU and. You don't get the shirt. But I wouldn't count on that always being the case. We got an email about it right before the Summit. -
12th LPU Summit to be held in Amsterdam on Nov. 7th

So more on the Woodlands as a comparison. Joe started playing the guitar they had for the acoustic set and they had a fan (minus? Might be his username) sing along. I'll upload it soon and post it on LPL. Joe also was kind enough to draw a picture for this girl in the M&G line. Chester dominated the Q&A and M&G. He was so into it. Also they asked him about STP. Pretty sure his comment about the band's treatment of him was a dig at Scott too. He said STP thanks him for knowing the words to the songs, while LP has never done that. Of course Pheonix thanks him the next second. There were the dumb questions in there but I don't know how you fix that problem. I was surprised but Rob took the most time after Chester (who took so long he got lapped by Mike) and Mike in the line talking to fans. Phoenix was great as usual. Joe funny. Just Brad was in and out. I don't even think I got a full signature. -

Lol I forgot. The reason we knew which places were getting the summit was based n the M&G packages. So it has to be decided beforehand. Band Q&A was all fan questions in Houston but they were late and the speakers sucked. Individual photos would take forever. Maybe small groups instead. And the crew Q&A was cool but was log since the band was late. I know Mike and Phoenix were there on time because of the backstage tour they do. But I remember in Camden the fan portion of it was great. I always meet people and in Houston got to meet more fans. And yeah passes were $90 or in TX $75 at the door if you had LPU and you wouldn't be a shirt -
12th LPU Summit to be held in Amsterdam on Nov. 7th

Houston did sell out before the summit was announced and there were quite a few people who didn't have tickets for the concert. I imagine that they plan this way before so they can't control if it sells out or not. Though I think they should hold back some seats for the summit people just for this situation. Edit for Woodlands Summit thoughts. I got the chance to work the Summitbso I saw a bit of a different perspective. One main problem was the registration. Easily the biggest time delay. Best solution to me is just have everyone come an hour earlier. Plus in the Woodlands our passes had our names on it so that didn't help. I didn't do much activities but it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. Houston also had the benefit of having an A/C tent to hold the event. No conspiracy with the raffles or auctions. Corey won at Houston because she paid the most money at the auction. That's how auctions work. And lots of random people won the raffles. I think Lorenzo just needs to hit his groove. I bet the early summits with Adam were rough too. But I still had a great time. I highly recommend doing a summit! -
2014.09.05 - Woodlands, TX (11th LPU Summit)

Set B. No changes. When I get sleep I'll post more. Chester talked about LPU and fans before encore. Also a shout out to the veterans and the vet program. -

SO EXCITED! Had a lot of fun at Hard Rock last night too. Not gonna lie but I'm hoping for SOMETHING this show. APFMH, RME over BIO, something. Starts at noon. I'll probably be posting stuff on my Twitter all day. -

Ugh can't watch. Any word on if they'll be a replay? Also crowd audio is always deceptive. The MSG Fuse show is a great example of that. -

Dave tweeted about the Tampa show, so it looks like they're still going to play. -

Nope. Loks like they're doing an encore. Starting with Crawling but not sure what to make of Marks description. -

LP looks like they are going to pay the fine and continue past 11. But I wonder why Chester couldn't say why they were late? Weird start to the tour. -

Do we know why they're so late? I just watched Mike's vlog and he seemed ok. Poor Florida. And Mark just tweeted Chester was on the mic stand for "99% of OSC". :S I hope everything is ok. -
A mention from twitter. Maybe a "Keep Calm. We Got the Setlist." shirt
-
Wow I think it took me a second after seeing the Carnivores design before buying it. Also happy the old shirts are there because mine have been washed a lot and now I can get new ones! Designs are amazing Overkill!! And THANK YOU LPL staff for having a women's option for every shirt. LP store and bands in general should take note!

2014.07.19 - Woodlands, TX - "94.5 Bud Light Weenie Roast"
Numbrocker replied to LESTAT's topic in Stone Temple Pilots
Meatplow, Piece of Pie, and Trippin' was the encore. I'm assuming the report was from me because I was tweeting the setlist. They might have done that because Dead and Bloated ended so well that it seemed like the perfect time. -

I had a blast at this show!! Chester sounded fantastic and you could tell he really enjoyed the show. Plus Dean, Eric, and Robert were jamming the whole time. I 10000% recommend going to see STP if you have a chance. Here my instagram with some pictures and video. I might upload some more, but I only had my phone and ipod with me, so the sound sucks, but it looks good. Also instagram only allows 15 sec snippets. No real show notes to add except that I saw Chester side stage with Eric during 10 years. And of course the debut of Crackerman with Chester singing. Honestly was my favorite concert I've ever been too. A lot of that has to do with personal interaction with Chester, but also because of how great Chester sounded. That genre of music is just perfect for his voice! Plus I didn't have to pay and arm and a leg for good seats! Edit: Also if someone found good video of Out of Time I would love you forever! -
Glad Brad muscled through and played. Don't think they were terribly confident with the new tech since he hasn't had much time to learn the songs. A little sad we still haven't gotten any real LPTVs about the Making of THP.

Linkin Park Playing Ventura, CA Vans Warped Tour
Numbrocker replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
Say what you want about the Warped crowd but they ROCKED IT! Plus the band looked like they had fun so not sure why all the complaining. Had a blast watching the videos! So some of the guests sounded bad, the point of this show was to have fun and introduce themselves to a group of people who might not have seen LP before. My favorites were Faint and OSC, and APFMH even though I couldn't really hear Jeremy. -
linkinpark.com is shifting from Ning
Numbrocker replied to zerothree's topic in Everything Linkin Park
The worst part for me was losing some friends on there, and then not remembering their usernames. I didn't have a twitter or knew them on facebook so they were just gone. In fact I think I joined LPL because I wanted a reliable and decent forum. IDK who picked Ning, because that forum layout was AWFUL. That's what lost a lot of people. And now with twitter and LPL/LPA, they've made the LP.com/LPU irrelevant for the more hardcore fans IMO. I think they could get a lot of the more causal fans back if they had a good layout. I mean people still posted on the Ning one. I just can't imagine a worse layout. -
A bit too close to get money, but I'm always a fan of winter tours. In Texas the weather will be awesome or it'll be arena which are great. I'm still hoping for Jan/Feb though.
