Good ol' LPL. Nice to see the place is still its usual self. For some reason, the Mall soundtrack doesn't...seem real to me? Maybe it's because we have no information about it or the movie. They're just things that I'm told exist but have no proof of. But a full Linkin Park soundtrack does interest me.

I don't think they'll play anything new tonight. Probably a shortened set too. Should be fun for the people there though.

For some reason, and this is random, I feel like Bruiser would sound nice with Lupe rapping over it. Then again so would a lot of stuff. I have to use my girlfriend's windows desktop to use stagelight, and I still haven't been able to hear all the samples yet. But god damn there's a lot here. Chicken basket samples what!

It's supposed to be a bit sarcastic I think. In the making of, Mike has the entire band singing at the same time and says he wants the sound of a whip cracking in the background. That's clearly supposed to evoke imagery of the fans/critics thinking that the band should only be doing whatever they tell them to do.

Judging by the Making of Living Things, this is kind of a shot at people who think Linkin Park has gone soft. Like an "oh, I'm sorry, you didn't think we could do this anymore? FUCK YOU." kind of thing.

Sorry, but I don't think the argument that "Linkin Park had to make Meteora to disprove they were manufactured" makes ANY sense. In fact, I think it's the opposite. Making a second album exactly the same as the first wouldn't prove their label wasn't manufacturing their music, it would just prove that their label did it twice in a row. It would just prove that all Linkin Park was was a machine for churning out pop nu-metal hits. And as SomedudeRemix said, when they ended up making Meteora, the critics made up their minds right then and there. Making a second album that sounded DIFFERENT but also had success would have been the best way to prove they weren't a manufactured band, because then they could show everyone that they weren't a one trick pony. They could show that they could do whatever they wanted and do it well.

Not sure. Though Amazon has updated the page to include their music player, it could be days before they actually upload the clips. No way to really know for sure.

I'm not a huge fan of Lost In The Echo's sound. Sounds very euro-dance. The other two sound interesting though, especially In My Remains. Also I guess this means a leak is officially imminent.
