  1. Very cool! They are actually. One of those 7 windows is just showing a mix of all the cameras.
  2. Not as good as HT or Meteora? Are you kidding me? Why even compare a remix with real album songs, that's not fair? Of course they aren't as good.
  3. Sounds interesting. I remember Chester saying they were going to make porn musicals. Maybe that's what it's all about! Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzpiJscUA5I...feature=related
  4. Raises one question for me: Are we in danger here at lplive? I hope not, this is my favourite site.

    Crank II

Love Crank, I have it right here, great movie. Can't wait for this, sounds awesome!
  6. The whole US arena tour seemed amazing from what I've seen. I live in Europe so I didn't experience any of them. But I love the setlists, energy and stage design. So the best show was Madison Square Garden for me.
  7. That's awesome, very unexpected Gotta love Mike.
  8. While I'm sure there will never be any singing on this track, because we're not going to hear it again, I also tried singing on it and it got out pretty well, you could easily sing on this track, if you just changed the structure a bit so that the hard part is not only at the end but in each chorus.
  9. I'm sure this won't be on the album, they made the song in only one day (it looks like), just for pro-tools. Mike: "Today I'm just doing a little track just to bassicly play around with the new pro-tools. Sounds awesome though, but I don't think you should count this in. Also, I like the ending of it with the distorted guitar being added. Which would be the chorus if it was made into a song. "...grow bigger to like a chorus kind a thing and then done."
  10. In The End. Back in 2000, one of my brothers got this CD home with the "newest" music on it. Song from KoRn, P.O.D. and Linkin Park. My brothers loved In The End, but I was more into Blind from KoRn. That was my first Metal, before that, all I listined to (and still do) was old school rock. My brother then said that I couldn't be a fan of KoRn, because he was. So I picked the next best. Linkin Park. And I fell in love, and suddenly it was way better than KoRn. I remember seing the In The End video the first time, after having listined to the band for months without seing what the guys looked like, I was overwelmed by their coolness.
  11. Ace of Space is awesome, his voice is really good. Something tells me Chester is a lot better at singing rock n' roll than LP. Good to see that his back problems didn't do anything to his performance!
  12. Pretty small changes, but it's never okay to fake it. Thank you for the info
  13. You're right. Obviously Mike was not fast enough. He didn't play the first half of the riff, but that was edited in the DVD. Proof: You can clearly hear his guitar coming on at 3:37. Adding some distortion.
  14. Anybody else noticed that in the second chorus of Lying From You, there is a shot of Dave were you can see Chester is not singing but you can hear him singing. It can be seen pretty clearly. Pretty bad editing. And Astat. I do not doubt your words at all, but I tried watching all the songs with the DSP's opened in the background so that I could choose between the DSP's sound and the DVD's sound or hear both at the same time. There was absoslutely no difference in Chester's pitch. Unless you have some program to proof it or something, I must say, they did nothing his voice at all. And if they did, it dosn't make it sound better, sounds excactly as good/bad.
  15. I belive the reason why his voice is getting worse is that he stopped drinking, taking drugs and all that around 2005. Doing so changes your voice. It happened to Hetfield, he admitted himself. Do you remember that interview where Chester said that no one liked to hang out with him back in the days, because he was high/drunk all the time? He said that he was at the lowest point in his life in 2005 when everything with his wife and kids started to fuck up. He said Jack Daniels was his best freind. I belive those were the months they played Live 8. That's why he wore sunglasses. That's why he sounded sick. He was really not able to do a show in that period. Then he got a new wife, new kid, and got clean of drugs and alchohol (What I've Done). He said he had singing lessons before the shows in Japan 2006. I belive that's the reason why his pitch was so good at that show. But he couldn't scream like he used to. He couldn't do the "half/scream" anymore, the one he uses on every chorus. He could only do full screams (like the ones in Qwerty). Actually, sometimes he couldn't even do a full scream, go listen to Breaking The Habbit of Summer Sonic, the bridge is so emberassing, sounds like a whiny kid. He realised he couldn't do the half screaming between the Summer Sonic shows and the European MtM shows. He developed a method to do it, and it sounded very good on the first shows. I was so happy he was back in action. But the method also ruined his voice. It has been getting worse, that's a fact. Though! Yes, his voice is weaker when singing aggressivly, but I think that he is much better at hitting the right notes than he was back in the early days. In verses. Using normal singing. The verse of From The Inside of Live In Texas - sounds like shit from Chester. It actually sounds pretty good these days, and I'm not drawing any conclusions out of RtR. But I just found new respect for the man. I've been playing gigs with my band in a lot of different venues now, and I now know how fucking hard it is to sing up a big place. It is so much easier when you practice. I consider the singer of my band to be very good, but he would NEVER be able to sing/scream for as long as Chester does every night, in that way he is incredible. While I think that Mike is the mastermind behind the writing in this group, I also think Chester is a good songwriter when it comes to melodies, and that's also a very positive thing. And, you can easily hear him being out of tune on the recordings, but at all the shows I've been to, I've never noticed it, probably because of all the fans singing, I don't know. But that's very important, because then all the "casual" fans and listeners won't notice either. I hope he will have more lessons in this break too. I just know the singer of my favourite band could have been so much more worse live than he is.
  16. So fucking awesome. I fucking love Linkin Park, couldn't have asked for anything better!
  17. Had the same problem, hah. On PC, you just have to right click and pick root menu or title menu or whatever.
  18. Oh, a new mistake in Itunes. Suddenly Milton Keynes changed name to "Milton Kevnes". Dude. I know this dosn't really matter, but seriously, such a big release from such a big band, get your shit together.
  19. Hahah on Itunes, those idiots have named Lying From You "Living from you" instead. Pathetic. Edit: And Leave Out All The Rest too. "Live Out All The Rest". Somebody can't spell. Edit2: And the names of the two collabs with Jay are typed out differently.
  20. It rocks. I found myself shaking throughout Bleed It Out and Faint. Incredible DVD. Only bad thing is the lag of backstage material.
  21. That would be fucking idiotic if it's true. Unless what you're hearing is harmonies which nobody would be able to perform. But yeah, LP uses a lot of samples, as you know, some of them might be burried at the show and Pooch would dig them up for the DVD.
  22. I agree that it's dumb, but it's better than nothing.
  23. It's definitily not Milton Keynes. I'm a bit scared all we will get on the new LPU CD is a couple of remixes. Mike Shinoda: "...It's not NEW Linkin Park music..."
  24. I can't belive people think they would work with Timberland. Man, listen to the new Chris Corrnel, is that what you wan't LP to sound like? I'm open to a lot of music, but I've hated EVERY song Timberland has produced until now, I'm being honest. Good interview btw, Dave is good at clearing things up, getting it said.
