Song sounds more intense emotionally with it being heavier. Sounds solid.

Wow what a really strong tour opener. Lost full band, Good Things Go with Phoenix on keys, Overflow with Phoenix on bass. That's great. Of course a loss with the LFY/POA spot and BTH gone, but they'll rotate songs all year surely. Solid start to the year and shows this lineup isn't afraid to start changing it up. 25 songs also makes sense considering they have a massive touring slate coming up.
-
Wow this is going to be the best one yet. That's great.

As an avid collector of other rock band posters, this is a great move. The 2008 and 2012 posters sold so quickly and are almost impossible to find now online. Definitely will grab some of these 2025 ones.

Following successful poster runs on North American Tours in 2008 and 2012, Linkin Park has taken advantage of the recent popularity in show posters by debuting new posters for 2025 concerts. The Linkin Park Underground emailed fans yesterday, "LPU Passport Plus members will have first access to pre-order exclusive, limited-edition tour posters for each LINKIN PARK headline show. The band has commissioned some of their favorite artists to create unique artwork for these posters, which will be released in batches and only sold online." These online posters are limited - Mexico City's on the Linkin Park store for LPU members says, "Each hand-numbered print is limited to 200 copies and is printed on 18" x 24" heavy cold press cotton rag 300gsm paper with a deckle edge." And as a complete surprise to fans, there is a run of 10 posters per show that are signed by Linkin Park! The store says, "Signed by the band, each hand-numbered print is limited to 10 copies and is printed on 18" x 24" heavy cold press cotton rag 300gsm paper with a deckle edge." These are the first signed items sold by Linkin Park with the new band lineup and also makes them the first signed merch sold by the band in a significant amount of time. The Mexico City posters that were signed sold out within minutes, but the remaining Mexico shows took a few hours to sell their 10 copies. Currently it is unknown what "full band" exactly means in this context - Brad or Alex, or no guitarist. We will see when they start to arrive in the mail. Accordingly, we will be updating show pages to archive this information to get the show posters added as well as the information on each one. The band has also launched new From Zero World Tour official merch, including a 2025 tour poster with all of the stops, updated shirts, and more. These items come following the band's Mexico City pop-up store, which they featured on social media with exclusive merch before announcing that Tokyo, Japan would have the next pop-up store in February. It appears that at least the Mexico pop-up store featured additional exclusive posters, not sold online. It is unknown yet if these will be sold at venues as well. We will be sure to keep you updated on the tour as more show posters are released as the band makes their way through the 2025 touring slate.

I think it's a great time to play more Hunting Party, add From the Inside, and debut Good Things Go.

Mike and Emily's part 2 of their "From Zero" chat, coming in at 47 minutes, is out now. They discuss everything that has happened in the past few months, from the album release to the shows and more.
-
Mike said it's up to the record label to advocate for the band and get enough momentum to submit the works or something.
-
If they get nominated for and win another Grammy, that would be a massive feat for the band.
-
The full show has never been aired or released. It would be a good one to include on a Living Things smaller box set if they choose to go that route.
-
There are all sorts of reasons they may not want to do M&Gs: 1. The online backlash against Emily is pretty intense, even still. Just one person causing a ruckus at a M&G could be a problem. 2. The band is older than ever and is playing the longest shows they've ever played. They said the 100 person M&Gs wore them out as far back as 2007 which is why they took it down to 15-20 in 2008... imagine all this time later. Mike also said the Post Traumatic M&Gs hearing everyone talk to him about Chester was a LOT on him mentally and emotionally. No doubt there would be a considerable amount of that now with LP back. Playing 2h15m per show and doing M&Gs before it would be pretty tiring undoubtedly for them. Handling the Alex/Brad situation is not that big of a deal, but you'd be getting 5/6ths of the band at M&Gs. A good solution is do an LPU Summit a few times per year or per touring cycle. Since they are two day events, you could even set it up that the M&G portion could be on the band's day off and not before the show. There are a lot of options there.
-
Emily would absolutely nail Powerless, and likely Shadow of the Day too.
-
Would prefer Breaking the Habit to stick around. Drop something like the Friendly Fire/My December spot for now and bring back My December in the fall again.

We are pretty sure Linkin Park has never been nominated for a BRIT before, but that has now changed with the nomination of LP for International Group of the Year. The band is up against Amyl and the Sniffers, Confidence Man, Fontaines D.C., and Future & Metro Boomin. This year's ceremony is on March 1, 2025 at a familiar location - the O2 Arena in London. Again, no word on if Linkin Park will contribute a performance to this year's show or not. s

Linkin Park has been nominated in four different categories for the iHeartRadio Music Awards, taking place on March 17, 2025. The band is up for Alternative Artist of the Year, Rock Artist of the Year, Alternative Song of the Year ("The Emptiness Machine"), and Rock Song of the Year ("The Emptiness Machine"). It seems likely LP will take home at least one award of these four, so be sure to tune in in March to catch the awards. As of now, it has not been announced that Linkin Park will perform at the awards, but it is possible - they have already submitted two live performances for awards shows in 2024: "The Emptiness Machine" (Live in Korea) [NRJ Music Awards 2024], which has unfortunately been removed from YouTube due to copyright claims but can be downloaded here. & "The Emptiness Machine" (Live in Brazil) [Billboard Music Awards 2024] Let's see what ends up happening!

Colin Brittain has announced via Instagram that he will be doing a Meet & Greet at the annual NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show in Anaheim, California on January 25th, 12:00 p.m. PT. He will be at the DW Drums booth at the Anaheim Convention Center alongside other drummers. This is the first Meet & Greet of any kind with a Linkin Park member since the band's comeback in September 2024. NAMM, taking place this year from January 21-25, is a popular show for artists to do M&Gs at with fans. If you attend the event, let us know!

Confirmed being rehearsed.

The men's line was actually really nice in the Brazilian store. LPU early entry should have no trouble with posters, we were able to get one in Brooklyn easily and I went in VERY last in the LPU line deliberately.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason to these. The Hunting Party had both acapellas and instrumentals released, One More Light had nothing, Papercuts had instrumentals only, and From Zero has acapellas (at least first).
-
Linkin Park has officially announced that they will be releasing From Zero a cappellas on Friday, January 24 on digital streaming platforms. So far, there is no word on the release of any instrumentals. This will be the first a cappella release by Linkin Park since they put out the a cappellas and instrumentals from The Hunting Party on August 12, 2014. No release was done for One More Light as the entire era was cut short. Fans have noticed an upcoming release by Warner Music after they sent takedowns on videos on YouTube for "Two Faced (A Cappella)" this month: Tracklist: From Zero (Intro) [A Capella] (0:22) The Emptiness Machine (A Capella) (03:05) Cut The Bridge (A Capella) (03:21) Heavy Is The Crown (A Capella) (02:18) Over Each Other (A Capella) (02:44) Casualty (A Capella) (02:19) Overflow (A Capella) (03:24) Two Faced (A Capella) (03:34) Stained (A Capella) (03:57) IGYEIH (A Capella) (03:24) Good Things Go (A Capella) (03:13) Source: Apple Music, Qobuz, Spotify

Not mad, but Alex just can't get the older songs down right with the rhythm. Something is very off when you can hear LFY, Points, etc sound so different live.

It appears we missed an interview in October, done with Mike by 97.1 The Eagle in Texas before the band played in Arlington. In this thirteen minute interview, Mike answers the questions: -Was the LP countdown actually planned to start counting up? -What were his first impressions of Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain? -What did he miss the most about touring? And what does he dislike about touring? Listen in full here. Thanks to Anosh for sending this over!

The full interview Brad did with Guitar World has been posted, after a portion was released about a month ago. Here are the big highlights of it: What went into your decision to stop touring? “For me, and, I guess, all the guys, the last however many years gave us the opportunity to really think qualitatively about the band – what energizes us, where we feel most fulfilled, and where we thrive. It wasn’t like, ‘Let’s go back to what we were doing.’ It was, ‘Let’s take what we’ve learned to approach our roles with greater self-awareness and insight.’ I really thrive in the studio. I love making new things. That’s why I decided to focus my energy on that area and bring Alex in.” What went into preparing Alex? Did you recommend any amps, pedals or guitars? “Fortunately, my tech, Ben Young – who is super-smart and really helped me build out my whole rig – graciously rejoined our team. Ben has all the knowledge of everything that he and I built together. Alex had the luxury of stepping into that. There were a handful of shows in the past when I was sick or couldn’t make a show, and Ben played. He really knows the show well. “In terms of getting Alex up to speed, he learned everything. He and I went back and forth to make sure the feel was right. There are certain songs where, even if they’re not the most technical, there’s a feel that’s unique to my playing. I really wanted Alex to get that right, especially on the iconic songs.” On the studio side, what’s your tone recipe? “Mike and I have been collecting gear like guitars, pedals, and amps. He’s got a great setup at his studio. We’ve worked with an engineer named Ethan Mates for a really long time; Ethan helped set us up to succeed longterm. We have a really great shorthand of going back and forth on tones." Is there a guitar you lean on most? “I have an orange Fender Strat that was made in the Custom Shop – it’s my favorite guitar, my go-to Strat. Then we have PRS, which we like to use in the studio. I would say that’s our classic, and the Fender is more of our Minutes to Midnight and beyond sound. The PRS really defines Hybrid Theory and Meteora. With From Zero we gave ourselves permission to use iconic or identifiable elements of our sound that we loved from the past but that we’d moved away from to experiment. In some ways, From Zero was a homecoming and a kind of unlocking of all the tools in our tool chest. Rather than trying to reinvent – though there are moments of reinvention – it was a chance to rediscover our favorite tones and guitars, and blend them all together. Which From Zero track best represents where you’re currently at as a guitar player? “I think Two Faced is really fun to play. It has the nuances of a classic Linkin Park or even before we were called Linkin Park – when we were called Hybrid Theory. I don’t know if Two Faced represents me in the present, the past, or all of the above. I tried to play it at double-time speed when we made the video. That was a lot of fun. I love how the video turned out; it really captured the incredible energy. I felt like Emily just went off and was unbridled. Everyone's eclectic and dynamic, and they represent the different facets of where the band is at today. Then, stylistically, Casualty feels like a bullseye to me in terms of energetically going hard and taking the training wheels off. It just feels full throttle – I love it.” Do you ever see yourself getting back on the road? “You never know… I don’t have a crystal ball – I can’t definitely say!”

You are amazing, thank you! We will definitely have to meet up at a future show.

Hi everyone, Many of you have seen that we have moved our show pages to Linkinpedia, benefiting us with the capabilities of a proper database and much more. We will have a lot more coming in relation to that move later this year. As we finish out the 2024 show pages and move into 2025, we need your help to complete our galleries. We have started adding setlists for the 2024 shows on the show pages. What we need help with is tickets for the 2024 shows and if you happen to have photos of setlists, posters, etc, that would be appreciated! Ticketmaster/Live Nation since the last time we had a tour in 2019 for Mike Shinoda's Post Traumatic Tour has switched to mostly digital tickets... and those work and we'll add them. Example included: We'll take your ticket screenshots (or photos or scans, if you have a physical ticket), posters, setlists, etc. Anything used to get into the show works. Please reply here, DM us on socials (@lplive on Instagram or Twitter, Linkin Park Live on Facebook), or email us at pics@lplive.net to help. We'll get your content added! Shows needed for tickets: Burbank Launch Show Los Angeles Kia Forum Brooklyn Hamburg London O2 Incheon London Leagues Paris (need ticket and setlist) Arlington Bogota Sao Paulo 1 Sao Paulo 2 Riyadh Soundstorm Thank you as always for your help!
