  1. technically Plaster 3 HAHA
  2. the song is dope, but tbh idk what to think about the video LOL
  3. wanted to point some of the easter eggs so far 1- Casualty ending contains a sample of a beat from Joe's Tasty Gas Station Breaks From The Orient vinyl (It was used in Papercut intro from what i've heard) 2- at the end of Overflow a snippet of Xero's Fuse plays 3- the beginning of Two Faced has an inverted sample of the bridge "I can't hear myself" 4- IGYEH has a Step Up sample at the beginning "so the question must be asked"
  4. it has a good amount of variety, good thing that they weren't ashamed of bringing old type of stuff back, scratches/sampling adds so much to the mix (maybe what THP missed the most) no to mention all the oldschool samples, from Xero (funny) to HT early demos. my top 10 1 Two Faced 2 Heavy Is the Crown 3 IGYEIH 4 Casualty 5 Cut the Bridge 6 The Emptiness Machine 7 Stained 8 Good Things Go 9 Overflow 10 Over Each Other
  5. POA is just too overused, drop it for good and bring back RME, that would be a lot better.
  6. if you read what i typed you will see "i need to hear the studio version" i was thinking about other songs, then i remembered that it was from that game, lol the screams are dope ngl, it's just the review that was "too hyped". not going to read any reviews anymore, i'll build my own hype.
  7. All for Nothing is the best track in THP, i mean the whole album is underrated, but that song didn't deserve that tbh i didn't found Casualty that special... Mike's flows reminds me a song from NFSU2 i need to hear the studio version, but i didn't get hyped as the review dude state it was. too much "punk rock" to me. not even the scratch part catch me... (i think that it uses the same sample from Crawling?)
  8. the second note on the LFY sample really does sounds like the note dropping on 101STRG2, but it's pretty hard to say, since Mike used to do crazy stuff on these sampling (i miss that)
  9. i mean, i would rather have an alternative version like a remix album, instrumentals/acappela, bonus tracks than some different versions that the only difference is the color, but ok...
  10. it really shocks me on how some people are comparing OEO to Crawling/Breaking the Habit/Leave Out All The Rest.... like, how can people think on those unique tracks while listening to this? no that it is a bad track tho, but could be way better.
  11. i've been wondering the same thing, as antisocial i can understand, but he's not an anonymous antisocial like me. that's the other half of my thoughts about it... he doesn't owe us anything, but a last goodbye would be good. idk if they didn't push that hard because Colin was good or for them knowing how Rob is.... i can really picture myself there because i had some similar situations in my life. really hope that he's doing well and not depressed, if it was hard for us to lose Chester, i can't even imagine how it was for him (he seemed to care a lot, like Chester did)
  12. pretty sure everyone here used MPC Software (including me, i've used version 2,10) it is funny because when you open any .ALL file (sequences file) in notepad, you will have the version of the MPC used by Mike. for example, all stuff from MIKE MPC (Rendezvous, Sky, Sad, Goop, Emo, etc) will have MPC2000 ALL V1.5 there.
  13. Orgy reminds me of DBS, cool to see the "crossing paths"
  14. i get it, well, it would be nice to have it in spotify.
  15. why there's no 20 Eyes?
  16. yep, i forgot about Mark being shy, lol... ALSO, totally forgot to mention the LPTV beats, that are in fact Mike's demos... such as Goop, Beat 10 ( Grr longer version), Rendezvous, Beat 4 and tons of others LPTV unreleased beats.
  17. i mean, after the release and Pictureboard hype and analyzing it carefully, the HT20 compared to MT20 sucked (in terms of songs) like, we could had so many variations, between Mark and Chester, a whole disc dedicated to Xero, and one for Hybrid Theory. the art part was way better in HT20, sadly MT20 killed that whole graffiti vibe with those nosense AI graphics.
  18. i mean, the only two songs that worth on that album IMO is OML and Talking to Myself, the amount of ghostwriters, random features and the whole background before, at and after is really dark... they didn't had to do an album like that at all, sadly they did. at least they did good shelving it in this new tour.
  19. not in a particular order... 1. not picking Forgotten / By Myself / A Place for my Head as HT singles (i mean... Points of Authority as a single... like, really?) 2. not releasing Meteora remixes 3. not working with Don Gilmore again 4. not releasing Brazil 2004 Chimera Festival concert footage 5. lefting much content out of HT20 boxset. (there's alot more)
  20. so, i'm the only one here that felt like this kinda sounded like Faint? i saw the video and some moments i got confused if that was Faint being played, lol. also the string sample it's really similiar ( or Reading my Eyes?) sounds dope, better than Emptiness Machine imo.
  21. could we add "Healing Foot" from NRG sessions there? even that they more likely just have recorded drums to it, (the blank space song as we can see in the studio song board) ALSO, Pictureboard seems to have a 2000 studio version too. (IDK what happened to that thing Jeff Blue was planning, i was looking foward to that)
  22. i've talked to Ian in 2017 i guess, he's a cool guy. i was in IG and i found a post of a Brazilian page, apparently he did a interview? https://www.instagram.com/p/Csl2Jg_Ohwe/ ( The bassist at the time said he heard himself on the radio at age 20 during his first trip to a rehab clinic and was very happy about it. "It was a somewhat surreal experience; one that began a seemingly endless stream of what-ifs over the years. What if I hadn't only had four days to learn an entire album's worth of songs? What if I hadn't chosen to stay up for several days on meth trying to learn them all? If they hadn't decided to try and repair their relationship with the original bassist? What if I had taken things a little more seriously? , what if I blew my only chance at truly being able to pursue my passion in life: music? While they would go on to become one of the biggest bands in the world, I was left behind, contemplating the what ifs." )
  23. that's horrible, it sounds awful, sounds like they isolated in the first website they found... very dissapointing.
  24. no news so far, PSNDL is down, so idk where we could get the file.
  25. yep, idk why there's another version of the new mix since there's no difference.
