Friendly Fire is my top pick by far. Love OML sound and Chester sounded great on that album. Thoughts that take away my pride is my second pick and yeah, we could get a lot of music out of MTM demos

Yeah it’s a matter of taste, I think She Couldn’t gives us a good Chester performance but sounds a bit dated now. As I said, I’d enjoy it more without the sample and mayyyyybe even without Mike’s Little rapping, as much as I enjoy the acoustic 2017 Crawling more than the studio version now.

Yeah I like the fact that they showed their soft side even in their prime with those soft songs, but agree on the fact that in terms of sound, not talking about Chester’s performance, My December and She Could’t would have sounded dated as hell in 2017, and I think it’s one of the reasons why the band, as an example, started playing Pushing me away piano version instead of the original one. I remember Mike reacting to “kids react to LP” 3 years ago and saying (referring to OSC or ITE video or stuff like that): “you guys should understand that this in 2000 was cool, but this in 2017 would be dated and pathetic/ridiculous” or something along the lines of this, and he was 100% right.

The big box set is incredible for collectors and the price is not even THAT high, and to me complain of about the content of it is nearly impossible because it’s super complete. My gripe is that in there there’s a lot of stuff I already own and some things I don’t care much like DVDs and Xero without Chester, so it’s not something really for me. But the 2 cds packaging with the16 pages booklet will be fun to celebrate HT and have something “new” from LP after nearly 3 years (considering OML Live) Found the cds boxset on EMP for 19,99, Think I’m gonna go for it

Probably getting the 2cd + 16 pages book edition even tho It bothers me a bit to buy a second copy of HT. The super deluxe is cool but more than 150 € for songs I’ve heard a thousand times it’s not for me, also don’t care about Xero. The only thing I’m sorry about is the amazing book that I won’t have.

It’s my opinion man, nothing against Mark, just think his singing is poor compared to the rest of the song and I hope we get Chester’s take. But yeah, I’m a hater just because I didn’t treat Pictureboard like the holy grail of songs. Come on Man. I’ve seen far better songs being treated like shit here and now I cannot express my opinion on Mark’s vocals just because I’m not a singer ? Like, lol

I don’t think I’ll purchase the big box set, because the new content/content I really care about is not that much, but the 3cds edition looks quite cool. Black sheep here, but this is not the release that hyped me up the most this year, even tho is super cool
