  1. I thought it was basically like deathcore like early BMTH, it’s not necessary to be that aggressive, kids. Calm the fuck down.
  2. That remix was fucking awesome yeah...
  3. Screaming like a fucking beast with lyrics about slaughter and blood ? It’s really a Mike thing 😂
  4. Good point. No comment on this thing, I’ll listen to the remixes when they drop.
  5. So this is not an April Fools’ ? Ok. 😇
  6. The book edition was a great idea IMO, i love that book. The many vynyls ehhh, maybe not that much, ok.
  7. So it was Loma Vista pushing Amends editions
  8. I worship nothing, couldn’t care less about the album sales or the merch, I just think the album is fucking great. 😊 If Mike drops a song that I consider better than anything on Amends I’ll be happy about it and I’ll publicly say that, it’s not that I’m blindingly defending something for the sake of it. Personally, I purchased the standard CD and the deluxe vynyl + book + CD edition of Amends so it’d be fake as fuck and hypocritical to criticize for being a cash grab something I was super glad to purchase, that’s all. 😊 I’ll tell you more: I think Over Again and Promises I can’t keep are better songs than WITE, B12 and Sickness on Amends, so basically I think you can’t say that I’m blindingly doing a Mike vs Grey Daze thing.
  9. He didn’t but Chester was GD vocalist before he passed away, it’s not like a tribute band of Chester born after his passing using his vocals. It’s different IMO. But as I said, as long as the music is fucking great, I don’t care, and Amends is one of the best LP related things of the last decade
  10. Grey Daze are using Chester’s vocals because he was their vocalist 😂😂😂.
  11. Do you think the label saw a big potential in the song ? Because it’s not doing great commercially (not comparing it to LP obviously, but it did less than CAL).
  12. Yeah I remember Sean saying Chester even sang something to him on the phone Man come on, You know my thoughts about the thing, but we should really stop this especially under threads about other stuff. BUT I hope people won’t spread shit when Grey Daze puts out the new record
  13. The artsy/alternative guy forced by the evil label to put out a mediocre song (to be kind) against his will ? Nah.
  14. I totally got the vibe and feeling that Chester wanted to do something more with GD, not quoting Sean because it’s obvious that he says Chester wanted to reunite GD so he’s not a totally reliable source, but Chester himself said he wrote stuff maybe for solo projects or else. Who knows, we are not in their mind
  15. The caps lock was to make clear that thing, no sarcasm. About admitting the album was cashgrab, I already pointed out countless times that even if I don’t think it was a cash grab, I couldn’t care less as long as the music is fucking great. I’m not gonna spam again this thread with Amends, cause it’s not on topic. About GD getting back with Chester, who knows what could have happened? Maybe in 2018 Chester would have entered in studio with them after OML tour was over.
  16. Lift Off and IOU definitely, maybe Hold it Together? Always had a FM vibe to me, reminded me of Believe Me a bit. MUAIG was supposed to be on OML instead, right ?
  17. Finally someone who has a reasonable opinion. About the merch, I get what you say, many editions, but (and I don’t want to make jokes or being rude or misinterpreted) even PT had some different editions, and was never considered a cash-grab by the fans (me included, i DON’T THINK PT WAS CASHGRAB).
  18. I hope he has 10 songs better than HE and drops a surprise album.
  19. Promoting like hell a song that, as of what he himself said, didn’t even want to put out
  20. I have nothing against this Mike project, I don’t have any interest but nothing against it, he does this artsy thing and If he’s happy I’m super fine. But the cash grab bullshit with GD not again please. Peace.
  21. Yeah I didn’t “recognize” it until you said it now, but my fav part in “Fine” is the 2nd verse, the synth is really cool, that song is by far one of my fav things Mike has done as a solo artist/Fort Minor
  22. That would be really super dope. The songs you mentioned, especially “Fine”, had a NIN/Reznor &Atticus Ross attitude and vibe and it’d be really something interesting to look forward
