That's the same problem with Rebellion for me. Those synths are so up front that the guitar work is so in the back where it should not be.

Ok the guitar on the bridge sounds even more evil in this video than it already sounded in the studio version. And you can even hear Phoenixs' bass in those verses wow. 😮

And if they play amphitheatres they will use the same stage they will use for Columbia, right? They probably need that stadium stage for Europe, South America...well everywhere except USA I guess (lol). I'm still sceptical how that will turn out tbh. The last time they played big stadiums (whether it was Poland or China or whatever) the production was way to small. Stadiums tend to make the band small (obviously) but they definitely need something bigger in terms of production. Back to the topic. Really intrigued how their upcoming setlist will look like.

Another example that the band somehow has more force of attraction in other countries than in their home country. They can't easily fill the stadium in Dallas compared to these shows in Brazil. Even after such a big comeback. Yes, the Brazilian fans are crazy but still. These shows will be a complete madness of a show. It's going to escalate and get really loud. Really excited for those brazilian fans.

The same I already wrote couple of days ago in this thread. Saw a comment section under a youtube video pointing at some points already mentioned. They have so many layers in the Crown chorus that they probably use backing tracks to make it sound more "powerful" (i guess?). Edit: Saw a live performance of Sleep Token's "Take me back to Eden" and they use those layers as well. And I don't mean their live female background vocalist but the actual studio backing track.

I agree. He may suggest some songs or an order in which the songs could be played.

so what happened in the last 7 years? I mean yes they are now back but with that history it was no way guaranteed that the demand was that high, right? And no, the „come to Brazil 🇧🇷“ are not THE sign of high demand. Yep it looked like they already had the second show in the backpocket. Possible 88k people over two shows is crazy

Is there an expert on how the addition of extra shows work? Like, do they plan that in beforehand that there might be such a high demand that they could play another show? I can’t imagine that such an addition is planned on a short term.

I don't think we have yet seen her best. I believe there is a lot more to come from her, singing/screaming wise.

Yea I don't know it now striked my but I guess that's the problem with a lot of LP songs. They often have like 2-3 vocal parts at the same time so either they do it that way or they clone Emily lol. 2 Vocalist for 3 vocal parts seems impossible to me 😂 Thanks for pointing that out.

Not sure but for me that's her best performance of WFTE so far. Escpecially the high notes at the end. Gosh this song is so perfect for her.

Sorry I didn't eypressed myself well. I'm not sure if it's the music as well but in any case the vocals are played. If you watch performances of those to songs in Seoul you see Emily pointing her mic to the crowd while vocals from the track can be heard. But to be fair, those are rather quiet and obviously there to support her for some extra layers in the chorus.

Probably. For LP it’s more like „Hey here is another amazing intro we came up with“ and that they all can take a breath for a second before performing Papercut, Heavy Is The Crown and Bleed it Out. Those are high energy songs so they need it.

Looks like they used a backing track for Heavy Is The Crown and TEM (Not sure they used it on TEM on the other shows but i may be wrong). Not exactly sure why but I guess it's for the harmonies in the chorus. If I am correct then they used backing tracks for Talking To Myself back then as well to let the chorus sound more powefull (I guess?). Perhaps an expert can elaborate more on the usage of such things.

Ye he got wrecked around The Hunting Party. Having back problems, having to drop THP songs due to wrist issues and ultimately getting wrecked by performing live. I hate to speculate on matters where we have no clear information about, other then Mike hinting that it got tougher for Brads body to tour over the years. It’s not too far fetched and the more you think about this issue the more you can understand him not wanting/be able to tour.
