Why isn't it on the website then.

Any word on a Pensacola DSP yet? Probably not since it's a festival US show.

Do you think we will ever see another FM minor record?
Geki replied to RiderSSPU's topic in Side Projects
Someone asked Ryu yesterday if there was going to be another FM record. His reply was ''Naw I don't think so''. Sorry to get everyone's hopes down, but Mike has even pretty much said that too. -
Linkin Park Song Election - Road to Revolution

In The End. In The End is a piece of shit. -
Something happened to LP in like 2009. MTM was awesome and it still had the LP sound, just more mature and it took it to the next level. 2008 was a touring year, doesn't really count, plus Lockjaw came out that year and it was awesome still. 2009 was good for the most part, they released New Divide and did some touring. But then I don't really know what happened.

I agree. I don't want to sound like the biggest ATS basher on the forum, but they do. Some sound good live. I like BITS, Iridescent, WTCFM, The Catalyst, The Messenger and Blackout live. The rest, not so much. I love some of the other songs like Wretches and WTFE and stuff but idk. Even the ones I like live, they still don't sound 'right', they sound weird. I think it's just because ATS doesn't blend with HT, Meteora or MTM.

Not to be a bummer, but I think it'll be the same set as last show with The Requiem opening, basic set.

Linkin Park Music Video Election - Minutes to Midnight
Geki replied to Sucre06's topic in Everything Linkin Park
Where is the ATS music video election? Or did that already happen? Also, you should do a miscellaneous video election for stuff like (Pts.Of.Athrty, New Divide, Not Alone, Numb/Encore, etc.) -
Linkin Park Music Video Election - Minutes to Midnight

LOATR is definitely NOT the best video off of MTM, and isn't a very good video IMO. What I've Done is the best video the band has ever made up until this point. Very powerful and moving, not to mention that WID is the best song LP has ever done as well. -
Not Alone was written for Haiti anyways in early 2010. Issho Ni was the song written for Japan in the spring of this year.
-
Didn't Chester once say they asked a couple other bands to tour but the bands refused to play before them? He wouldn't say what bands. I know they asked Muse to be on PR07 but Muse declined because they already had a tour planned that summer.

Alright, this is a tough question... What is the most original song from HT?!? Other stuff I was thinking were BTH, My December and surprisingly Coal, because if anyone heard that song, they would probably guess LP. It has that core LP sound. Probably because it's a Xero song, which is the baby core of LP. And for some reason, Part Of Me. Sounds like something different than all nu metal at the time and it just sounds original.
-
When I wake up, I hope something cool happened. Robot Boy!! It will never happen though. At least not at this show 99% likely.
-
What is special about the mexican edition of the BTH DVD? I have two copies of the American version.
-
Ok, my bad. I did not see.
-
It will probably be the same set as the last two shows with the addition of When They Come For Me.
-
I was thinking The Catalyst, until I remember what Mike said in the video of his home studio tour. He said they made the intro based off of a sound on ProTools that anyone could make if they bought ProTools. Idk.

It's hard to say. Not every LP song, but most of all LP songs, have Chester singing in his own unique way that no other singer in the world can sound like him. Mike and Brad have both said that. But as far as musically goes, I'd say maybe Hands Held High. What other rock band has used a church choir and rapping over those kind of instruments??
-
That's Jimmy of MSI. Watch the PR07 wrap-up video and you can see him say it. A lot of people from different bands on PR07 came out on that, and some yelled stuff in the mic too, I think one of the members of The Bled screamed for a second with Chester ''I won't be ignored'' as well. But yeah, that was definitely Jimmy Urine. EDIT: Also, I didn't see this in this thread at all, what about Chali 2NA doing Frgt/10 with LP at the MFR 2005 show??

31.08.2011 - Los Angeles, CA - Secret Show for Japan
Geki replied to hahninator's topic in Previous Show Discussion
People should just stop bitching about the sets...even I, yes ME GEKI, am getting sick of it. People have been bitching about the sets since 2009. 2010 and 2011 were full of everyone complaining about the set lists, even I did. But there comes a time when you have to accept it and move on. LP is never going to play crazy sets with songs like Qwerty, With You, Figure.09, etc, it will never happen. If they didn't do anything special for the entire ATS cycle (minus APFMH in Paris 2010), and didn't do anything special for the secret show, what makes you think bitching on a fan site will make them want to do it more? It won't. I am not a fan of their new sets or ATS for that matter. but I will live with it. I'm going to DeLuna in October and I am sure I'll see one of these sets there. But I won't bitch, because I will be there, having fun, rocking out to some LP songs. I only complain when I go on here and read that every show has the same set. I'll just listen to old shows from 2000-2009 and love them if I want to hear something old, or I'll just make my OWN SETLIST MIX with new songs and old songs and make the set I want to hear. It's better than complaining about the sets over and over again. I'm not defending ATS or their choice in set songs, but I'm just saying people should stop bitching. I think ATS is the biggest piece of shit LP has ever made, but I'm done complaining about it on here from now on. Sorry for the long post, I just feel like I needed to get that off my chest. -

In The End -
What is the origin behind the song 'Madison' that Mike made? I know it was for the 2005 VMA's...but did Mike record the guitar and drums and beat and everything all by himself? Part of me thinks this was a seed for a very early MTM song since Chester said last year that MTM in the beginning phases was going to be the heaviest LP album. EDIT: I also forgot to mention, Divided from LPUX is from 2005 and it sounds A LOT like some of the other 2005 VMA beats that Mike did...I think some were FM ideas and some were LP ideas.

Just cuz I don't like ATS doesn't make me less of a LP fan at all. -

But at least make the singles good. Waiting For The End, The Catalyst and Iridescent all suck IMO, especially Iridescent. I don't know why people like it so much. It's so monotone and boring and depressing. BITS is the only single I liked from ATS. All the singles on MTM are amazing, though. :] -
Meteora isn't better than HT in my opinion...HT will always hold a special place in my heart because it was one of the first CDs I ever bought (I was 11 at the time) and I have deep appreciation for HT. I have the album cover tattooed on me, I love every single song on the album, I have signed copies of HTEP and HT, etc. Meteora did have some good songs, Faint is one of my absolute favorite LP tracks still to this day. I think BTH was way ahead of it's time though, BTH is a really good song. But other than that, Meteora lacks a lot of true emotion and it almost seems forced..
