This song reminds me A LOT of early Rage Against the Machine stuff. I love it.

Probably fake, they look cool, though. I think it's a bit odd that Rebellion says Feat Daron Malakian, yet All For Nothing doesn't have featuring Page Hamilton.

I would change one thing and say that the verse in Hip Hop Medley 2 is the Recharged version of STB, just to let people know. I think the Recharged instrumental thing is cool for COG. ALTNC looks fine too that way.

I agree fully. There is so much hate for Recharged, though. What made me realize that it's Reanimation 2.0 is the fact that Reanimation was centered on featuring a bunch of underground artists and artists that LP toured with back in 2000-2002, while Recharged was centered on featuring a bunch of EDM and electronic based artists. Most of them are DJs and do not do vocals, so of coarse there won't be a bunch of vocal guests like on Reanimation. It all comes down to if people like EDM or not. I personally like EDM a lot, so it's great to have a LP album centered around it for me personally.

Dude, Mike's verses from Recharged are SICK. I am so damn excited right now that one of them is being incorporated into the set. So much epic win tonight.

Hybrid Theory is the only CD that I have in my car right now. I want to stop listening to GATS & UIG on repeat since the album is coming soon and I want to honor LP for playing Hybrid Theory at Download. I can't wait to hear this show.

Is anyone on LPL going to this show? I actually decided to buy tickets for this show and travel up to Montreal. I have been to a LP show once before in Toronto back in 2008, I think this show will be just as awesome or better.

I've recorded stuff in the past on my phone and it sounded decent. iOs7 came with the Voice Memos feature and that actually sounds decent when I record stuff. Maybe I will record 2 songs or something, depending on where I am at the show.

The first show of the album cycle is always a super fun time, we know nothing of what to expect in terms of set or whatever.

Hybrid Theory is only 37:45, adding maybe 5 or 10 mins for time in between tracks or banter. That is a lot of stage time left for LP since they are playing a longer than usual set.

Is it really possible to record in good quality from a smart phone? Cuz I could definitely do that from my iPhone 4S, but it's an outdated iPhone model (obviously) and it probably would come out bad.

On LPA's news post, it seems that Japan is getting it's own release with the Carson show, while the US is getting the Monterrey CD/DVD at Best Buy exclusively. Europe is also getting the Monterrey CD/DVD as well.

This is going to be the first proper US tour that hasn't had DSP's since 2004! Kind of insane when you think about it. It's going to suck, but we might get some good recordings this year. Download especially, I really want to hear that full show..

I like both bands, it's just they aren't really the kind of music that LP have been talking about or making.

I was shocked that they picked 30STM & AFI for the support acts. I like both of those bands, but they didn't come to mind when thinking about bands LP might tour with for their heavy and carnivorous new album and tour, etc.It would have been cool since Oli loves Chester and LP.

Gotta agree. Numb has become very boring for a long time and I see a lot of LP fans saying they want the song to take a break. BID could go too, IMHO. WID is always good live and it's a rocker. I'm not just saying this because of my love for MTM. BID isn't that great because Chester always struggles with it vocally, among other things.

Epic. I loved watching Rock In Rio in 2008 and in 2012, it was great. At least that means we will have a HQ live performance of GATS & UIG and maybe more from THP. Not getting DSP's is going to suck this year more than it did last year because of all the new stuff going on.

I am super excited for this show. I can't wait to hear GATS and/or UIG live rips when they surface.. LP might even play some old songs or more songs from THP, who knows! The first show of a touring cycle is always very exciting.

Iridescent is actually one of my favorite songs off of ATS (the others are BITS & The Messenger), but I agree with Chester here. I'd rather hear high energy songs and stuff like that at a show instead of a ton of Iridescent's. Hopefully they will drop the Ballad Medley altogether.
