  1. Well, they said that the next album will not sound like ATS, so it's not will be ATS part 2. And the next album will be what the band want to be, you saying it should be hevier or soft don't will change anything. And if you don't like it, leave the band, don't be like some people here at the forum that im sick of, they just say negative things. If i don't like one thing, i keep it to me, and if i have anything construtive to say, i try to express my self, not like some people that say they liked LP, but now they don't like because they started to regress. LOL, it's a fucking joke.

umad? I'm expressing my opinion just like you are expressing yours. Less guitar is a bad thing when they're known for their energy and all of a sudden they just completely abandoned their signature sound on ATS. I'm going to state my opinion in hopes that the outcry from ATS can avoid us ever getting another LP cd like that.

  2. Not at all. Most of the songs during the MTM era and the songs that made the MTM album were dominated by Chester because Mike didn't want to rap, and often times Chester's vocal sounded better, because well, Chester obviously has the better singing voice.

ATS had MANY vocals from Mike. Prior to ATS, Mike didn't really sing on albums like he does on ATS. I know he did a little on MTM, but Mike does vocals in every single song on the album except for The Messenger, he might even do harmony or backing vocals on that song as well, just not so sure. So I don't see what the hell you mean by this. I'm sure the next album will have Mike doing vocals as well.

I meant rapping wise. Mike isn't that great of a singer- I think that's pretty apparent.

  3. I kind of do too. I love what they have been doing with the LPU CD's in recent years with all the awesome demos and b-sides. I think I like a lot of the b-sides more than actual album tracks, to be honest... For example, What We Don't Know has to be one of my favorite LP songs and I think it's one of the best tracks from the entire MTM era, and the band just 'forgot' about it!

Yeah, I agree. I feel the same way about Blackbirds.

  4. I'm positive they could polish up 12 b-sides and make an album and sell a lot. Especially the stuff from Hybrid Theory or Meteora, songs we never heard that didn't make the cut, would draw a lot of attention. I love all the MTM b-sides so far, and maybe ATS has some good ones too.

Yeah, it's funny that I look forward to the lpu cd's more than I do for album release now. They have a lot of great older tracks.

Speaking of which, isn't their obligation to Warner over after their next cd? Correct me if I'm wrong.

  5. Or how about they went back to rock and hip hop but expanded upon the 3 minute song and verse formula and made something truly experimental. I just think they excel in the rock/hip hop category not the pop/ballard one. It's like they're the jack of all genres (now), master of none.
