  1. Only complain is the volume of the crowd. It sounds like it's in a studio or something. Besides that: Amazing setlist!
  2. This would be gay. I live in Holland, and in 2007 I went to Pinkpop because of LP and Stone Sour. It wasn't bad, but standing between those silly three-hugging people with their Pink-hats and complaining style (LP is for kids, LP is for faggots, LP are just jumping around with their sorrow-songs etc.), disgusted me. LP's show was great (great setlist, much energy, good audio), but the crowd and the bright and clouded sky fucked a lot of things for me. When LP would be playing in The Gelredome on their own (50.000 people), or Ahoy (14.500) or even Heineken Music Hall (5000) , THAT would be great for me. But those silly people around we who don't care about LP ruined it the last time for me. I dont care about the price (80 euros, so 100 dollars), I would pay the same for a normal LP concert.
  3. FUCK I-TUNES. I tried to instal this shit for 72 minutes, and it started all over again for 4 times. After that some serious bullshit with logging in. Not blaming LP for this, and looking forward to see it on youtube. But Itunes proves it once again: terrible shit. Hope you guys have fun.
  4. The first two were easy for me: 1. With You (HT) 2. By Myself (HT) But at the third song, it was such an hard choice! BTH - Easier to Run - Cure for the Itch (HT) - Session AAAAAARGH! After all I chose Easier to Run, because of the amazing bridge and verses.
  5. 100% agree. Glad to see someone around with the same opinion. If you see the awesome setlist with the non-singles that you can make with it: what a great setlist could you create with it if you add your 6 or 7 best singles (One Step Closer, In The End, Breaking the Habit, From the Inside, Given up, Bleed it Out, The Catalyst)... Well, it would be the best setlist ever. But I seem to be one of the few persons who think this.
  6. I'm thinking: wouldn't it be great that they would play a show with only songs that haven't been a single? Lol... 01. Intro + With You 02. Runaway 03. Blackout 04. By Myself 05. Figure .09 06. Hit the floor 07. Forgotten 08. Cure for the Itch 09. Pushing me Away 10. Hit the Floor 11. Nobody's listening 12. Easier to Run 13. The little things give you away 14. In Pieces 15. No more Sorrow 16. When they come for me 17. Qwerty 18. High Voltage 19. A Place for my Head ---------------------- 20. The Messenger Goddamn, this would be great... But well, I think (or know) this ain't gonna happen. Never. Okay, back on topic: same setlist... Like expected.
  7. I don't wanna complain about setlists or something like that. I saw Mudvayne headlining a show (55 minutes), Stone Sour twice (65 minutes) etc. They also have many songs (Mudvayne like 70), so thats not the whole point. Eventhough 22 songs aren't full songs (just like 17 of them), 17 songs for a show isn't bad. The problem with this tour for me, is the stage. I've seen it last year, so it wasn't a big surprise, but come on, how bad can it be? I don't want to be a person who says "I miss the old LP" because I like them to change their style. But if you compare this shows with the shows from ten years ago, there is a huge stagnation. And I'm not complaining about the lack of energy in each show (they are getting older, and besides that: most of the songs played aren't that good for jumping, screaming and running around the stage). My problems with this tour: there are almost no collours with the lights ( a terrible lightshow), the stage is a big fail and the way the band shows up: usually they had some good style with their clothes and hair, now it's just Mike with a gay-jacket, a Justin Bieber haircut (eventhough he took that horrible haircut away) etc. And I don't expect Linkin Park to put up a Rammstein-show with a perfect lightshow, pyro-effects and a huge science-fiction stage, but come on... A side band like Stone Sour has a way better lightshow than LP. To make it even worse: LP had a better lightshow in their 2001 and 2004 shows than now in 2010/2011. So this is just a post in a random show-topic, but I just had the need to share this with you guys. I don't know if anyone agrees with it, because most of the complains are about the short sets, and changing their music-style. I love it. Okay, I agree: there should be a few older songs that aren't a single. But I dont give a heck if they put up the same setlist every night. Just make a good show of it, and thats my problem with these shows.
  8. Wow, this really sucks. I'm sorry. Even though I love the old LP, and was a bit dissapointed by MtM, I think ATS is really great. Different, but really cool. But when I see the videos I can only say that the LP vids have become a huge let down. HT & Meteora had great and perfect videos. The MTM videos where okay. Not that good, but you can see the videos quite a few times. Now we have the ATS videos, and in my opinion they are far beyond terrible. Look at The Catalyst: amazing song, but they ruined it by that faggy video. Same for WftE and BitS. And now again they raped Iridescent. Why the hell is this? I hope this was the last vid, because they ruined those songs for me. If they do the same with other good songs like When they come for me and Wretches and Kings, I might be done with this album. Not because the songs are bad, but because they destroyed my image of the songs. Great: One Step Closer (2000) Papercut (2001) Crawling (2001) In The End (2001) Points of Authority (2001) Somewhere I Belong (2003) From the Inside (2003) Numb (2004) What I've done (2007) Shadow of the Day (2008) Leave out all the Rest (2008) Average: Points Reanimated (2002) Faint (2003) Breaking the Habit (2004) Bleed it out (2007) Bad: New Divide (2009) The Catalyst (2010) Waiting for the End (2010) Burning in the Skies (2011) Iridescent (2011) This is my opinion, it's not meant to offend anyone who does like New Divide for example. But you can see the stagnation in video-quality in the years.
  9. Thanks I think so too haha.. I really thought the setlist in Europe was shorter in 2007 (I've been there), but later that year they played much more songs in the PR. And they said that the US setlist will be longer this year. I thought I've read that here.
  10. Unfortunally there is a difference between what I hope and what I bet/think. Let's start with what I think: 01. The Requiem 02. Fallout --> The Catalyst 03. Given Up 04. What I've Done 05. Numb 06. Waiting for the End 07. Shadow of the Day 08. Wisdom, Justice and Love --> Iridescent 09. In The End 10. Crawling 11. Faint 12. Bleed it Out -------- 13. Wretches and Kings 14. One Step Closer _________________________ It would really suck to get that setlist. Oh, and I do think they wont play more than 13/14/15 songs, and also just a few new songs. Because this is the same as they will use for the Europe tour (which will have a shorter setlist). Later in the US I think they will replace 1 old song by 2 old songs, and they will add 2 or 3 new songs, which makes 18 songs. Oh, and this is setlist what I hope for (but would never happen): 01. With You 02. The Catalyst 03. By Myself 04. Blackout 05. Burning the Skies 06. In the End 07. Wisdom Justice and Love & Iridescent 08. When they come for me 09. Wretches and Kings 10. Hit the Floor 11. Waiting for the End 12. Bleed it Out -------------------- 13. Breaking the Habit 14. One step closer
  11. Mmm.. I know you can't judge on 30 sec. snippets. But you can judge what you hear in the 30 seconds, and feel the style of the song. Thats why I can say that Burning in the Skies, Robot Boy, Waiting for the End and Iridescent are not my songs. I'm not saying that I hate them, but Its not my music. All the other songs sound really great. My only problem is that of the 11 songs that I might like, 6 of them are not real songs because of the length. So that makes 5 good real songs on the whole album. Sad. Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to it, and totally fell in love with Wisdom, Justice and love & When they come for me. The Catalyst and Wretches and Kings already were great songs. I really think I might like the album very much. Definatly better than MTM. My God, that was a disgrace for a band like LP (eventhough it has some really great songs)
  12. Hahah I hope not! Let's say: 8 from ATS, 5 from Meteora (LFY, HTF, BTH, Nobody's Listening & Faint/FTI), 5 from HT (Papercut, OSC, With You, By Myself, ITE) and one demo (Blackbirds/ATL). And no M2M please.. 19 songs, but ATS has a lot of long songs. So this would be 90 minutes for sure. Unfortunally the songs I've choosed will never be played live without songs like Crawling, Somewhere I Belong, Numb, What Ive Done, Given Up etc.).
  13. Amazing song! Better than Wake? Yes. Given Up? Yes. LOATR? Yes. BIO? Yes. SOTD? Yes. WID? Yes. HHH? Yes. NMS? Probably. Valentine's Day? Yes. In Between? Yes. In Pieces? Yes. TLTGYA? Probably. Same for Across the Line. So they leave 2 of their best songs of the album, because of tracks like In Between and What I've done? Unbelievable. Amazing Old-school rap combined with a Chester on a DBS style! Sick! 9.5/10
  14. Absolutely Fire. The only track I don't like, except for the acoustic bridge.
  15. YEAH! Im going ofcourse, De Melkweg Venue is just around the corner here. Amazing!!!!!!!
  16. Well, at least you get the best band ever as a headliner!
  17. Well I guess I'm the only one who didn't like the show... Even without that French cunt, it would be bad. WTF was Ryan doing?!? Ugly singing, way too loud too. Besides that the audio was terribly ehh.. How do you say that? Put together really bad... But, it was better than nothing.
  18. Here it says: Off Air... :S
  19. At what time does it start??
  20. As I said, I really love the music. I just can't stand the way they're appearing. BUT it's the music that counts, so I really like DBS. And I know In The Darkness is about love (or sex), but they're just lines which I can't stand. Words as "My Suffering" come over to me as "Oh look, im so silly". And no I am not here to bash to bash emo's or something like that, I just say that I really can't stand those types. Thats just my opinion, just like other people cant stand me on this forum
  21. Just in DBS (alright, and in No More Sorrow haha)
  22. Why? Because they laugh about people with tight black jeans and guys with mascara and women-haircuts? No they are right. They should be shaming themselves for performing like this. But as I said, thats my opinion, and I really love their music except for the lyrics. Oh, and I dont say 35 year old people cant be sad. I only said that stuff like I wanna cut trough my skin is for 12 year olds. Comon man, stop embarrassing yourself Amir and Ryan and the ladies on the other instruments.
  23. Well to be honest: I like the songs. the melodys and rythyms are amazing. BUT: the lyrics are too sad and emo indeed. Comon you are like 35 years old, you shouldnt stuff like "I wanna cut through my skin" and "Sometimes I feel like I wanna die". They have a good point on that one. Besides that, even though theyre good musicians (also live), i cant watch their live performances. They come over like gays, except for Chester. Now dont be mad at my post, but Im telling you how I feel about DBS. Amazing music, but really really too sad lyrics and clothes and make up etc. And I really cant stand emo's. Sorry guys.
  24. Indeed, mostly at Papercut in 2001
