ChuckCheese
Other than the band stating on numerous occasions that they prefer to tour less, there's also the factor that they also have families. Although we are fairly well-informed whenever Chester has another kid on the way, the other guys are very quiet about their family lives. There's always that. Touring less I understand. Barely touring and having it effect the success and longevity of the band is something else.
Steve
I think we want 5 setlists like they did in 2007-2009
lpplus
2009 setlist was the best setlist ever.
xdespisedkidx
I'm glad I saw them in Italy when they played the album version of PMA and CFTI with APFMH. I don't understand the band. After they played the first concert in 2012 I think the "oldschool mothafuckin LP" was back but when they started the Honda Civic tour I was so sad... drop Blackout, fti, and Runaway.... and NOW when they have 3 month to rehearse something new they drop another fan favourite FUCK. I had a chance to see them in the EU tour last year but I saved my money for Simple Plan... If I know they drop Runaway I would not hesitate to go to the Warsaw show... SOHAIL_Lq
GUYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYS,Stop wasting time on discussing setlist, they won't change their set because of us lol
[AndOne]
We are always wasting our time on the setlists, that's what it's all about here lol.
Geki
2009 setlist was the best setlist ever. 2009 was a really good set. But they now have ATS and LT songs, so it wouldn't work working all those in. 2009 also had pretty much the same set every show except for the shows with the DBS encore, but that wasn't really LP, therefore it was practically the same set. If LP made an epic set and just played it at every show I'm sure people would be happier. For example, open with APFMH with the new intro at EVERY show. Would be epic. [AndOne]
I saw 4 shows with the 2009 set, it was good, but I would never call it the best set ever. The set was like 80% singles too. The only thing that made it special was New Divide and the DBS part for 2 of them. I think it sucked that they only had one set for the entire tour, the crew even had laminated mini versions of the setlists.Only minor changes made all the 4 shows a little different. SOHAIL_Lq
Best part of 2009 tour's setlist Session/Given up No more sorrow leave out all the rest What I've done long intro Points w/ fort minor intros New divide A good outro to faint Hands held high with Crawling
Twiilite
I actually thought 2009's setlists were completely boring other than the inclusion of DBS. The band basically took out everything that made the 2007-2008 sets unique and threw in New Divide (big whoop) and random rap verses from Fort Minor. Although the one time they played High Voltage over POA was epic. 2012's setlist was the best the band has played in 4 years. This revised set they just played was still better than anything since 2008. Victimized/Qwerty? Check. With You? Check. POA? Check. The only truly disappointing part of the set was the lack of new LT material, no APFMH and BIO studio version.

hahninator
this set still fucks up every other setlist played between 2009 and 2011 for damn sure, huge pity about APFMH of course, but we cannot change this. You didn't see a 2009 show. That setlist was fantastic. New Divide was actually good live then...and that encore was soooooo sick. 2009 setlist on paper may not look like the best but wow that's easily the best overall setlist I've seen them play, #1 with arguably Set A (Wake/GU opening) from PR07. Really solid. 2009 was much better than the 2011 set I saw (ATS tour main set w/ Wretches opening). Numb/BTH transition was sooooo sick. Shinoda jammed. Session/GU/FTI/SIB/NMS/LFY/POA/WID...what a run of songs. Only dud in that entire set for me was SOTD because the crowds were jamming big during LOATR even at that time. Anyway I am a huge fan of the 09 set even though it had all singles mostly. DBS was really terrible and a bad idea to put in the show but whatever lol. Papercut and APFMH I missed for one tour but hey, those 18 songs on that tour were fantastic. And we got RME over POA in Stuttgart thanks to Anne asking Mike for it for me. Epic. I had more fun at Stuttgart than any HCT show even though the Camden setlist was fucking sick. POA, WTCFM, VICTIMIZED/QWERTY, APFMH (!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and the best encore they've ever done. So good. Biggiee2180@aol.com
I love how everybody thinks LP is pissing off their fans by the lack effort and interests in their love sets... Why do you think they play so many singles? Mike openly admitted they cater to the "casual" LP fans who come shows, hence why shows like they do make the average radio listener fan goes crazy. Playing a rare live track or B-Side won't get the whole stadium wilded up. Hell, Victimized/QWERTY is a heavy/high energy track, but the crowd didn't reapond to it like they would Numb or Papercut. They feel they have to satisfy the average fans, not the ones who live by them and follow their lives to a T.
Borellus
I'm actually fine with the setlists they have been doing in the LT era. Bringing back a bunch of Hybrid/Meteora tracks and less ATS instrumentals. At least the setlist aren't bad like the ones Muse are doing right now. Now those are ones people should be complaining about.
stich
I'm okay with the sets right now but they need to play at least I'll Be Gone and Powerless; but I don't give a fuck about their shows since it seems that they didn't come to Italy or any close. other that I'm saving my money to see Green Day and I'm completely okay with it since in terms of setlist, energy and crowd interaction they beat LP a milion to zero right now Edited February 20, 2013 by stich
hahninator
Pretty much confirmed there's no DSP for Las Vegas. Pooch says he has no idea about one and Sean says the DSP is courtesy of LP fans on YouTube. Interesting. Wonder if they'll do them for Australia/NZ. Geki
Chester sounded pretty good at this show. Chester sounded pretty good at this show. Yeah, he did actually. Better than a lot of the 2012 shows I've heard. I think 2013 will be a good year as far as performance goes for him because there are no big tours planned, he can conserve his voice. I think Japan this summer will sound awesome.
