RogueSoul Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) Has anyone ever heard an LP song play at the most unexpected place or time?? Monday at ny school we had an assembly about anti-bullying and LITE opened the presentation. Anyone else have any experiences to share? Edited January 30, 2013 by Soul Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I would expect Numb, WID, ITE to appear anytime at Walmart but... Burning in the skies? it was extremely weird to hear it! Quote
hahninator Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Heard Rnw@y at a city fair when I was a kid, haha, really random. Quote
lgr Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 not exactly "random", but the big screens on the apollo stage at Sonisphere 2011 showed the footage from RTR. Bleed It Out and What I've Done to name two... and I always get a little bit happier when I hear LP songs being played while I'm on a night out - Rock City is still kicking out the classics 10 years on Quote
LPngdf Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 A German TV show took "Faint" as it's theme melody. I didn't expect this Quote
Geki Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Not anywhere random really, I've heard LP in a lot of convenience stores and shopping stores and stuff. I did hear Numb/Encore once at a 'pep rally' in high school once. Quote
[AndOne] Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Numb/Encore at our last semester party and some sort of BIO remix at another previous one lol. Quote
ThatGirl Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Iridescent during an Oscar presentation. Can't remember what year. And pick any Linkin Park song while at TGIFriday. Quote

zerothree Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I heard Numb / Encore at a club in the weekend. The first thing I thought about was this thread haha. Quote
Pez Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I heard Numb / Encore at a club in the weekend. The first thing I thought about was this thread haha. When I was on holidays on the gold coast, these night clubs were pumping this song. Quote
rahulsethi Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Hearing The Catalyst at a local gift shop. Quote
tonirali Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 in FOX Portugal, How I Met Your Mother show's presentation has bits of 1stp klosr has background Quote
Pioneer0 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 In Denmark "Channel 5" use Waiting for the End as background music to 1min preview of a few crime investigation series. Can't remember exactly which ones, but its awesome Quote
BeardyWilderness Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 There's this set of clubs I go to, they're all connected. The bottom part has cheesy music (like boybands from the '90s, classics, etc), the room next to it is for the 25 and older people only, then above that is the urban club, then next to that one is the drum&bass, dubstep, dance, house, club and electronic music. The cheesy club play Numb/Encore like every night, but once the electronic music one played the live version, and they have this panoramic screen at the top of the dancefloor (will connect picture) where they showed the live video of it whilst the song was on. EVERYONE knew the words haha! The screen I was talking about (says LIQUID multiple times on it) http://clubbingin.co.uk/essex/wp-content/u...b-basildon1.jpg Quote
linkinparkfan17 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 The gym what I was that play about 6 lp songs in a row Quote
Mr_wil5on Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 At a Strip Joint xD... In the End.. It doesn't even matter XD Quote
GlassCastles Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I heard Shadow of The Day at Walmart last week. Seemed rather strange to me to hear that song at Walmart. I also had to sit through an anti-bullying assembly at school, and they used both Iridescent and LOST IN THE ECHO during the slideshows. Quote
