hahninator
Considering all of the intros, outros and b-sides/demos we have from the MTM era and MTM songs, make a tracklisting of the CD that you think would have come out equally as good to MTM or even better. For example, here's mine: 01. Pale 02. Across The Line 03. Wake 04. Given Up 05. What We Don't Know 06. QWERTY (2006 version, studio form, 1000x better than the LPU6 "studio" one) 07. No More Sorrow (long intro in the studio) 08. Leave Out All The Rest (SOTD ending transition tacked on to the end of this) 09. What I've Done (AMBO intro) 10. Bleed It Out (Seattle 2007 version, extended intro, extended bridge (maybe w/ drum solo?), slow -> fast outro with a Chester "FUCK YEAH!" at the end, lmao) 11. Valentine's Day 12. In Pieces 13. No Roads Left 14. The Little Things Give You Away Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/ Share on other sites
RogueSoul
Wake 2.0 Given Up (Ext. Outro) No More Sorrow (Drum Transition Intro) QWERTY Leave Out All The Rest (SOTD Transition Outro) What I've Done (AMBO Intro) No Roads Left Pale The Little Things Give You Away In Pieces Valentine's Day What We Don't Know Across The Line Bleed It Out (Ext. Bridge w/ APFMH & Sabotage; Slow -> Fast Outro) Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178563 Share on other sites
annare
Live version of BIO in studio wouldn't sound as good as it does live, I'd rather have the "short" studio version Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178564 Share on other sites
LPUemo360
MTM RE-DONE !! 1. WAKE 2. Homecoming (w/ Lyrics) 3. Asbestos (w/ Victamized type Chours) 4. Given Up 5. Yo (Shorten into an Intro Track going into LOATR) 6. Leave Out All The Rest (w/ demo lyrics added) 7. Bleed It Out 8. Shadow Of The Day 9. What I've Done (Demo Instrumental used) 10. What We Don't Know 11. Pretend To Be 12. Divided (w/ Lyrics) 13. Hands Held High 14. No More Sorrow 15. No Roads Left 16. Valentine's Day 17. Pale (w/ Lyrics, singing & rapping from both Mike & Chester) 18. In Between 19. In Pieces 20. The Little Things Give You Away BOOM DONE !! 20 TRACKS !! I would added "Across The Line" but i dont know where it would be added. I feel it would not flow with the album ive remade for MTM. QWERTY always felt like a Itunes Single Release Only if you get my point, like New Divide did for Transformers i think QWERTY could of done for another movie. Qwerty18
I'm too lazy to make an entire tracklist, but here is how it would have begun.... 1. Annoncement Service Public 2. Qwerty 3. Across The Line (with the heavy intro - acetate version) 4. What We Don't Know 5. Asbestos (a completed version) + Wake transition into.. 6. Given Up I have this tracklist in my music library, and I love the tone MTM could have had with such songs. For the other tracks, I'd have included Blackbirds, In Pieces, TLTGYA, No More Sorrow, HHH, and NRL, but I don't know the order. Maybe WID and BIO. Also, maybe Pale as an interlude, but in a shortened form. 5 min instrumental would have broken the flow of the record Exit : LOATR, SOTD, Valentine's Day, In Between. Dave-Stone55
Across The Line Wake Given Up No More Sorrow Leave Out All The Rest QWERTY Bleed It Out Shadow of the Day What I've Done What We Don't Know Debris Hands Held High Valentine's Day In Pieces In Between Yo (Intro for TLTGYA) The Little Things Give You Away I know that Wake was meant to be an opener but Across The Line had so much potential for a killer album opener and I had to include Wake too Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178567 Share on other sites
lgr
as much as I'm not too fussed with making my own tracklist, I will state that I cannot agree more with Mark's comment about the 2006 live/studio versions of QWERTY Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178597 Share on other sites
VavourasLP
as much as I'm not too fussed with making my own tracklist, I will state that I cannot agree more with Mark's comment about the 2006 live/studio versions of QWERTY So I'm the only one that prefers the studio version. I'm gonna defend myself, I like the more punky feel it has. As for MTM, I won't make my own tracklist but I would definitely kick out Valentine's Day, In Between, Hands Held High, and maybe Shadow of the day for Across The Line, QWERTY, Asbestos, What we Dont Know and a full song based on Brad's Yo. FearOfTheDuck
The Minutes to Midnight on my iTunes is the same as the original, but with Across the Line and No Roads Left sandwiching In Pieces. Breaks some of the monotony of the "official" version, and at the same time isn't overlong. And for the record, ATS >>>>>>>>>>>>>> MTM Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178837 Share on other sites
FORTsunrise
I'd actually like to see MTM remixed and remastered with Joe's scratch tracks added back in. That be something cool for an LPU release. Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9319-remake-minutes-to-midnight/#findComment-178842 Share on other sites

Geki
I just watched the making of MTM, and the clip hear of Blackbirds is definitely not the same lyrics as the version we got with 8BR. So there definitely is a MTM version of Blackbirds out there, we got the re-worked ATS version.
