The ninth (out of twelve) show of the Summer European Tour takes the band to a relatively unfamilar place - Warsaw, Poland, where they will play the Orange Warsaw Festival at the Pepsi Arena. This is Linkin Park's second time in Poland, the first coming in 2007 actually the performance right before NovaRock that year (since Venezia was canceled) in Chorzów, Poland (show page here). At that show, LP opened up for Pearl Jam, one of the only times since Minutes To Midnight came out that the band has legit opened a show for someone else. I can only think of Metallica a few times (Sonisphere 2009), Tool in 2009, and Pearl Jam twice in 2007. Were there any others that anyone else can think of?

That makes it their first performance in Poland in almost five years! Exciting! The show in 2007 has a few pretty good recordings, both audio and video, so if you want to see or hear those then ask in our media request section in the forum. Great performance by the band at that show.

At the last show in NovaRock (show page here), the band was forced to cut a solid amount of songs from their setlist due to a big storm postponing their set. Fans had to be evacuated from the venue and were brought back in before LP took the stage. Nevertheless, the band seemed to rock the festival! Here's a video of 'LIES GREED MISERY':

Who's headed to Poland? M&G for anyone? Did anyone see them in 2007 in Poland that is seeing them this year? What about anyone that's seen them already on this tour that is seeing them in Warsaw? Playing before Linkin Park, according to the schedule, will be Garbage, De La Soul, and Fisz Emade Tworzywo. At this show, the band should play their festival set, the one that opens with 'A Place For My Head'. The next time we see the headlining set that opens with 'TINFOIL' should be in St. Petersburg.

On the 10th, the band plays Moscow, Russia and then closes the tour with shows in Odesa, Ukraine on the 12th and St. Petersburg, Russia on the 14th. For the full 2012 tour schedule, click here.

They didn't played New Divide.

Never more to Poland for the LP. Never more OWF. The horror organization, fans on the tribune (for example sector 219), security guard, rules, dining, restrictions, sound, lights. Horrible.

LP traditionally amazing. But OWF and Poles... oh, never more.

Edit: And no one speaks English in Poland. Almost.

No they didnt..:D

You were at other show then. chester mentioned the last show in Poland back in the...2006 :D He fuckin forgot. He told that he does remember and 5 years after it's just wow. He was very happy to see the crowd. Also Phx and Brad had polish national football team shirts with their names. Chester and Mike went to the crowd couple of times. Also full show in HD coming soon :) There was no LP merch booth there. Just a local shit selling lame tshirts and some cds/singles/ats vinyls.

And Mark, Mike did see me in LPL tee. He says Hi :)

Ticket, wristband, m&g laminate scans soming right up.
