Awesome corrections. Thanks for all that research, wow.

I'm checking through most of what I've got against what's in the guide and updating all my stuff in iTunes to include source numbers. dull task but it gives me a reason to be trawling through the guide :P

Dead By Sunrise - can we add all the http://lplive.net/setlistssongs/dbsofficia...eleasedlive.php info to each respective show page. it's useful to have this information alongside all the source information.

source 3e from http://lplive.net/shows/20090801.php should also be on http://lplive.net/deadbysunrise/20090801.php since Crawl Back In was in that video

http://lplive.net/deadbysunrise/20091009.php can we clarify in the sources that you can get hold of both the songs' radio broadcast (which has short song introductions by Chester and the radio's audio tags) and purely the songs themselves (the raw tracks)?

I'm not sure where my versions of the broadcast/songs fit into the existing sources because mine are -

broadcasted songs

time: 15m 47s

format: mp3, 182 to 184 kbp/s

raw tracks

time: 10m 13s

format: mp3, 181 to 183 kbp/s

I don't know where the raw tracks came from, but ... well, I've got them! not sure if this info is useful or not, but I think it'd be useful to note in the guide that there are two versions of this performance that are available.

http://lplive.net/deadbysunrise/20091023.php the source needs updating, was this ever broadcasted?

Does this source really exist?

Source 1a: Video - AUD (MiniDV: Sony DCR-HC40)

Transfer: Sony DCR-HC40 > firewire > Mac > .dv file > iMovie (track markers) > iDVD (authoring)

Taper: SAAINTJIMMY (Jack Dablemont)

Time: 64:22 mins

Format: DVD M / 3.65 GB

Sample: (Crawling - 15 sec) - Download (right click and save)

Comments: Incomplete. Songs before 'Points Of Authority' are missing. Audio is distorted. Wrong aspect ratio.

Maybe delete it and fill it with another source that I have and only had with audience sound

Size: 2.65 GB

Time: 69:19 mins

Or if so just add it as the 3rd.

And correct the time for DSP source:

Time: 64:22 mins 69:23 Mins

Format: DVD / 2.69 GB

Show Notes: Aaron Lewis, the lead singer of Staind, sang the ending of 'One Step Closer'.

Source 1: Video - AUD (Dig8: Sony DCR-TRV330)

Taper: Marc (Mad Raving Stark Productions)

Time: 32:54 mins

Format: DVD M

Comments: Incomplete, the three first songs was not recorded. the first parts of 'By Myself' and 'One Step Closer' are missing. Released for lplive.net on April 09, 2013 By Felipeintheend. (the DVD includes 'Open Your Eyes' and short part from 'Mudshovel' both songs by Staind).

Felipe Comments: Incomplete show. Includes Staind show, but this is not the main release. So i deleted it. Master source, got it directly from the taper.

Another Comments: this is the edited version of the dvd, the full version includes the Staind show.

Full DVD Version: 3.76 GB, 60:13.

Super Edit DVD Version: 1.7 GB 27:47.

i put them all together to avoid confusion in the future.

is it worth mentioning that Joe played the "I knew I was being threatened..." sample from IGD before OSC at this show?

or was this pretty common around that time?

He was doing that a lot during mid-2001, along with the full-length version of the speech from High Voltage.

Rehearsals aren't typically posted on the live guide except in special cases (being attended by fans that can actually confirm what was played, or rehearsal audio/video that was released in some fashion).

on the subject of C. Bennington's show pages.

on the shows where Chester performed with JK, is it possible to add in an extra "Back to Chester Bennington" link with the "Back to Julien-K" one? I know the database code might not allow that, but it'd be handy for lazy people (such as myself) to have that there

Like Astat said, we only add rehearsals if fans are in attendance or a recording surfaces. Most likely though it's the fans in attendance that lets us add it. Burbank 2008 rehearsal, etc. Madrid 2010, Sunrise 2011 (both preshow) are good examples of fans being there. And Bristow 2012 of course.

We don't have Live 8 added because even though someone likely could have stood outside and written down what they played, the fact of the matter is that no one did and we have zero information from it. It looks like Kanye came out for at least something at that rehearsal too. And perhaps Mike rehearsed the song with The Roots that day (someone had mentioned he was performing with them on the day of Live 8) too. We could assume the rehearsal was the same setlist they did at Live 8 but we don't really know so it wouldn't be worth adding sadly.
