[AndOne]
It turned out to be some sort of draft to the lpu soundcheck, the 2nd pic was seen at the summit and the dressing room. No idea why they printed a soundcheck set with so many songs and changed it later. The set says "With You Thru Victimized".
hahninator
I think this begs the question: Is it really worth listing soundcheck setlists on the live guide when nobody was there to see them? When fans are there in attendance, yes. Otherwise no. http://lplive.net/shows/20120810.php http://lplive.net/shows/20101107.php For the Cape Town thing I'm talking about, I was just going to mention it in "Other Notes" since it's pretty rare for the band to do soundchecks these days. But it ended up being something to do with the actual Summit soundcheck lol.
VFCMartins
I think the following Did You Know fact is wrong: "While in Asia in 2009, Mike rapped the first verse of "Dedicated" (1999 demo released on LPU 2) over the intro to "Points Of Authority" twice. It was the first time he had performed any portion of the song live, ever." Mike played the first and half of the second verse of this song in 2002, he did during a freestyle rap session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oq2_MagTrgs I wasn't during a concert but it was live. [AndOne]
Telekom streetgig Berlin The venue website is wrong isn't it? I would suggest http://www.admiralspalast.de/ For events and festivals we mainly use the event website instead of the actual venue website. For example festivals are sometimes not in real venues or the places don't have an own website, so the event website is much more suitable. For Berlin, both would work of course, but since I can instert only one link I chose the event website. The concert was never mentioned on the venue website too. &For TINFOIL you might want to add '2012 Version' to its notes.I don't think that needs to be done. It is different from the original but maybe they drop it after the LT touring cycle. I think would make more sense to put 2012 version if they played it for much longer and it's different from previous performances. But I'm also curious what others / other staff think about this. Astat
I think Tinfoil should be left the way it is for now, the only difference is that they adjusted the pitch to make it fade into Faint smoothly. I'd assume they'd play the normal version if they ever do Powerless live, but for now there's really no need to differentiate. If they keep playing it I'd say just calling it "Tinfoil (Live Version)" would be fine, but we should probably re-assess that after the album cycle is done. Hmm. That's interesting. Do you have the file? Any way you can upload it if so? I just looked into the KROQ Xmas CD I believe last year and it turned out to be the 2002 version. I wasn't aware of the 2000 one being in high quality somewhere.
Astat
Hmm. That's interesting. Do you have the file? Any way you can upload it if so? I just looked into the KROQ Xmas CD I believe last year and it turned out to be the 2002 version. I wasn't aware of the 2000 one being in high quality somewhere. I can't find the file anymore, and it actually may have been from a higher-quality rip of the KROQ 2000 webcast. It opens with some guy introducing LP, "From Santa Monica, California...MAN we've got so much good local music around here!" etc., then there's about a minute-long pause where Mike's playing around on the piano a little bit, then the song starts. Every rip of the webcast I've found cuts in on the first song though, so as far as I know it's the only version with the full intro. Do you know anything else about this? Most of my old shows are transcoded garbage from before I knew WTF I was doing, and I never bothered to replace most of them, so I actually have no idea what the "definitive version" of a lot of shows is... Oh, found another error, BTW: http://lplive.net/shows/20120904.php - Points of Authority and Lies Greed Misery are in the wrong order (same error that was made on the Calgary setlist). Wow. My webcast mp3 from like 2004 or 2005 is the exact same thing as you're talking about. It cuts in during the song intro (it has nothing before it like Mike messing around on the piano for a second). Thanks Jonas, I've never heard this before. Any way you can upload the rest of the show in FLAC? So this version was released somewhere or no?
[AndOne]
Uploading the rest right now. I got it along with a ton of other lossless LP shows years ago. No idea where it is originally from. But it's one of those that is not truly lossless of course. I also have a different source for this show with a loud humming, possibly from the radio? but it sounds also very lossy. SergSlim
Can't fix it myself right now: http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/20121027.php - wrong previous show link http://lplive.net/chesterbennington.php 21.01.2012 West Hollywood, CA - leads to a Julien-K page, which is incorrect. There should be separate page for Chester with correct Previous/Next show links. http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/20100415.php - wrong Next Show link http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/20100415.php - There is a video source by Church. , etc. http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/20100415.php - Back to 'Chester Bennington' should be more centered. http://lplive.net/chesterbennington/20080809.php - There's a pic of setlist, but setlist on the show page is incomplete.
