Met Mark and Jonas there for the first time. I got to the venue early so after I bought another t-shirt and the CD I had the idea to go the pit. Awesome. Much fun there, I was standing like left to the stage, second row or something. Brad came to our site sometimes, for example after LOATR, very cool. And Mike had us sing the first chorus to In The End, he was kinda close to us, at the edge of the stage. DBS was badass too, thanks to Krylon, I had the lyrics to CBI and MS, so I could sing along. I swear that there were only three people singing: Chester, Ryan and me. After the show, when my dad and I wanted to go back to Gräfenhainichen (where our train was supposed to start in like 30 minutes) I accidently got to the box office (so I've found it this time, ha! ) and had a short talk with the folks from the LPL meet and greet but I had to go again to catch my bus, kinda pissed of about that. And I didn't even notice the lights of the baggers until the first encore. But it was an awesome experience. \m/ I saw you =) Cool! Were you the girl standing there with another guy and Mark and Jonas at the box office or did you see me in the pit? And how was it to meet Dave?? michalangelo Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 (edited) Damn time goes so fast So, me and my friends were at grafen few minutes past 8. Had some problems with our other mates LOL. We went to the gates at 14:00. Seemed like there were only like 200+ people. At 14:30-15 some buses starting to arrive with lots of fans, in less than an hour entire place was overcrowded We were waiting for Mark and Jonas to arrive, it took some time due to their waiting for the bus which took like ages lol. Finally we've met, Mark as usual without any pulover Few more minutes for Mark to get his ticket and were inside! Bought the live cd and then went further. The view inside was just awesome. Transformers (machines named by Mark ) inside were just breathtaking (and the lights on them during the show!) We entered the pit area and hmm it seemed that Mark just wanted to make some photos before the show but he just rushed his way to the barricades where you could enter the area closer to the stage (ticket for that area costed few euros more as far as i know). Mark was with another friend (forgot his name lmao sorry dude! masz u mnie piwo ) Me with Jonas just hang and started searching for a good spot to sit. Went from left to right, forward to back LOL. after 15 minutes we were forced to go through the pit so we could get into the right side of the venue (weird that the enterance was just closed for some period of time) After some few more minutes we were sitting and waiting for the support bands to start. Funeral was awesome, Coheed not so much (lmao at the guy eating his hair XD) cause i just wanted to get some sleep during their set But i forgot to take any pillow with me Support bands ended their sets. Few more minutes to LP. Session and GU were awesome I won't write more about the show cause it's to much Mike and Chas made some mistakes as usual (points intro is a standard now lol). BIO drum solo was great but i think the whole thing was shorter (even the ending, no oooooooooooo ooooooooo? wtf? ) DBS set was great. To be honest i just wanted to hear Fire which was incredible. After that New Divide heard for the first time live, also cool. Chester seemed to be tired after DBS but meh, his choise:P I think that Faint just wasn't that powerfull (comparing to Brno), Brad seemed like he doesn't have a clue wtf is he doing with that guitar at the end XD OSC was better but again, not that powerfull IMHO. All done, the show is over. Lets go outside. Took some time, went for my friends meeting spot and then lplive meeting which brought only Ana....we took a group photo (that i'm still waiting for!) hang for a few minutes and...still were waiting for one friend of mine. HOW THE HELL can you loose one guy three times? We havent found him at all! He just went to get a beer and just disappeared...We just waited for ages, my friends went for a search..man this sucked! We were sitting on a pipe and just wondering wtf happened to my friend (he was abducted by aliens LOL) finally my other two friends found him in his car sleeping (again, WTF?) We finally could make the barbecue which should have started like 4 hours earlier..We talked a little, argued about Brno location:P, ate some ashes from the bbcue haha, got some beers (pop..pop.. OPENED xd). Thx guys for the meeting, it was awesome! BIG THX for the batteries! Thx Jonas for providing me with those mostly needed smokes XD Hope we can meet sometime soon again! (this time with! haha Bajtak : P)..........................transfering the audio!
