Amazing show, I'm a little surprised to see they did Overflow given the vibe they seem to have been going for the rest of the show. would've expected something heavier or just something not as slow

Using background vocals is not a bad thing at all if it is intended to emphasize the vocal power, but using it in the cases mentioned above is disgusting. Nobody likes it.

Just rewatched the With You intro, i guess it had some mixing issues. Joe is playing all the intro shenanigans but there's no sound coming out, i guess it was a streaming issue. Now i want to see an audience recording of it.
And Emily started the scream late.

I don't know why emily loses heavy parts of every old songs to crowd for sing ? Chester never did barely 2 songs but she did in every song and also she can't able to hold scream and loses breath over it despite being in band for 1.5 years

Yeah. When I watched it on TV, for example, I couldn't hear the beat at all and kept waiting... for the beat to kick in.  With headphones, you can hear the beat softly in the background. Awesome show!

I don't understand the praise she gets for her screaming. The people who love her screaming must not listen to many other screamers in metal.

Although there isn't much wrong with her singing for the most part.

Her scream is fine, not great but fine. But I really do think her singing voice is her strength, and would like to see LP utilize it more on the next album.

What's reallt special about Poppys screaming is that when she does it you can tell that it's her, I prefer her screaming over Courtney only because she sounds so generic.

 

I've been following Poppy for years and I never imagined that she could have the ability to scream she rocks.

 

About Emily mmm I don't really love how she sounds when you listen to the acapellas she sounds weird, like she's about to explode, cracks all over.

 

but it works and im fine with how she sounds.

 

I think that Poppy is a better screamer than her, yeah her part on OSC sounded off but if you watch her shows she's awesome.

What beat? I didn't change anything, that's literally how it came out of the feed.

Maybe there's some technical issues since it's first song of the setlist and it's also a tour debut

I don't listen to the whole thing yet, but maybe the problem is come from a livestream or maybe from the show

The beat that starts at 1:48 should be audible much earlier. You can only hear it very faintly at the beginning because something went wrong during mixing. It wasn't your fault; it was like that right from the stream.
