The From Zero European Tour has landed in Germany, and the band is bringing the action right to the capital! Linkin Park's next stop on the From Zero World Tour takes place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Berlin, Germany's legendary Olympiastadion for a massive sold-out show! Buckle in, because we have a big history lesson today.

It's no mystery to the Linkin Park community that the band loves touring in Germany - who wouldn't when you can sell out multiple arenas or stadiums in the span of a few weeks? With that being said, it's truly not a surprise that this will be Linkin Park's eleventh full show in the city - twelve if you count the ECHO Awards performance of 'Heavy' with Kiiara back in 2017. The band's last show in the city was just a few weeks after that, for a headlining show at the Mercedes-Benz Arena for a special Mercedes 50th Anniversary Celebration. Like the last show in Hannover, this show in 2017 was the band's first headlining show of the One More Light European Tour after a series of festival dates, and featured a brand new setlist, which included the live debuts of 'Nobody Can Save Me' and 'Sharp Edges.' 'Points Of Authority' also made its tour debut here, being performed for the first time since November 2015 at Blizzcon. The show opened with a unique acapella performance of 'One More Light' sung by Chester before a short Mercedes promo ran after before the show began - the full song was also performed later in the set.

On The Hunting Party World Tour, the band visited Berlin twice: the second of these shows was in 2015 on the final stretch of European legs that rounded out the world tour. Their show in Berlin was the last headlining show of the era and featured a setlist full of rarities including 'A Line In The Sand,' 'Rebellion,' and even an abbreviated 'Darker Than Blood.' 'Waiting For The End' (with its Apaches Intro featuring 'Until It Breaks') opened the encore before 'What I've Done' and 'Bleed It Out' (featuring a verse of 'There They Go' [appearing for the first time in a Linkin Park set since 2009] and a sing-a-long) closed things out. The show in 2014 included some different songs from The Hunting Party including 'Guilty All The Same' and 'Until It's Gone.' Fans did a flashmob during 'Final Masquerade,' surprising the band by blowing bubbles during the song! This show was broadcast live and rumored for a potential official release, but broadcast issues with the start of the stream caused complications with this.

The live debut of 'Sharp Edges' live at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany for the Mercedes 50th Anniversary Celebration on June 12, 2017. This was definitely a special moment for fans who were following the band's tour at the time.

Linkin Park's stop in Berlin for Telekom Street Gigs early on the Living Things World Tour will be remembered by fans for its inclusion on the Living Things+ release and its theatrical release later the same month. The show featured the then-brand new songs 'Burn It Down' and 'Lies Greed Misery,' while also finding time for deep cuts like 'With You' and 'Blackout.' On the A Thousand Suns World Tour, the band visited Berlin quite early on in the cycle in the fall of 2010, in the middle of their dual South American and European Tour. Fans attending this show were treated to an epic intro of 'The Requiem,' 'The Radiance,' and 'Wretches and Kings,' keeping the energy going with 'Lying From You' and 'Given Up.' 'When They Come For Me' and 'Iridescent' also got taken for a spin, not long off of their debuts as the record has only recently come out!

The band also had two huge stops in Berlin on the Minutes To Midnight Tour, the second of which came just a few days before the legendary Road To Revolution show in Milton Keynes. The band brought Projekt Revolution: Europe to Berlin toward the end of their 2008 Minutes To Midnight Summer European Tour, opening with 'What I've Done' with a piano intro right into 'Faint.' Other treats from throughout this set include 'Valentine's Day' with a guitar intro, 'In Pieces,' a studio version of 'Pushing Me Away,' and 'A Place For My Head' to open the second encore. And while the first show in Berlin on the Minutes To Midnight cycle may have been significantly smaller, it may have just been more important: the band performed their first headlining show of the entire tour at Berlin's Kesselhaus in April 2007, just weeks before Minutes To Midnight came out. 'One Step Closer' opened the show for the first time ever (after having spent basically its whole life being the band's essential closer), while 'Faint' took over the closing spot, its iconic extended outro making its debut here. 'What I've Done,' 'Given Up,' and 'No More Sorrow' were all performed live for the first time, blowing fans out of the water and building the hype for the record tenfold! The band also performed a mashup of 'There They Go' and 'Faint' for the only time ever, to accommodate a fan who asked to play guitar on 'Faint' (as they would not have known about the new extended outro).

The very first live recording of 'No More Sorrow' from its live debut at the Kesselhaus in Berlin, Germany on April 30, 2007. This is about as historic as it gets in terms of Linkin Park live history - this single video sent the fanbase into chaos when it hit the web in 2007!

The next step back is the Meteora World Tour, where Linkin Park performed in Berlin once on the 2003 European Tour in September. The band took on the Arena Treptow (after having cancelled an appearance there earlier in the summer that year due to Chester being hospitalized for severe pains), delivering fresh new tracks like 'Figure.09' and 'Don't Stay,' as well as treats like 'Ph5ng Me A*wy' from Reanimation. The band's very first appearances in the city were in 2001 during the Hybrid Theory World Tour, their first headlining show in the city coming at the start of the fall 2001 European Tour. After the tour opener was cancelled due to the September 11 attacks in New York, the band stepped back onto the stage cautiously but powerfully as they roared through big moments like the opening sequence of 'With You' and 'Runaway,' while also bringing out some b-sides and deep cuts like 'High Voltage' and 'And One.' 'Step Up' saw its live debut at this show in the encore, right after Chester's incredibly rare acoustic performance of 'Morning After,' which was only the second time he had ever done that. That song later became part of his side-project Dead By Sunrise for their album Out Of Ashes in 2009! And finally, the band's very first show in Berlin goes all the way back to March 2001, when they opened for Deftones on their Back To School Tour in Europe. While a shorter set, the band still managed to run through all the album essentials including 'In The End' and 'Papercut.' Linkin Park's history in Berlin goes way back, and that history will only grow deeper in 2025!

The band's last show on the current tour started off their run of German arenas with a stop in Hannover. The band returned to Set A, updating it to set A6 (not to be confused with 'A.06'/'A-Six,' which was sadly not played). Opening with Inception Intro A (with the 'Castle Of Glass' theme), the band launched into 'Somewhere I Belong' and the first rotation slot of the night: 'Lying From You.' 'Crawling' returned to the third slot after being replaced by 'From The Inside' in Czechia at Rock For People to commemorate the band shooting the music video for the song there in 2003. 'Where'd You Go' made its first appearance in three shows followed by 'Waiting For The End,' which certainly isn't going anywhere any time soon after the online reaction to the band dropping it for just two shows. Mike commemorated the seven year anniversary of his solo album Post Traumatic during his solo medley, performing the first verse of 'I.O.U.' first the first time during a Linkin Park set! 'Casualty' followed in the heavy rotation slot, before grandson came out to join the band for 'One Step Closer' during the bridge! 'Over Each Other' followed 'Lost' for the ballad rotation, and Mike played 'One' by Metallica on his keyboard during the intro of 'Overflow' before a reggae 'Numb/Encore' intro to 'Numb' was played, and a massive performance of 'Faint' wrapped up the main set. The encore rotation spot seems to have been replaced permanently by 'Let You Fade,' but given how powerful this song has been sounding live over the last few shows, we can hardly complain! The band really brought out all their tricks for the first headline show of the European run, but they're just warming up!

What may be in store for Berlin? Set B is lined up next, with the 'Burn It Down' theme for its intros and interludes. The rotations are all over the place and don't pertain specifically to any one setlist - the band seemingly just chooses which ones they'll play the day of the show. For the first rotation slot, both 'Points Of Authority' and 'Cut The Bridge' have been played here on the last run, and it's likely we'll see 'Lying From You' switch out finally after three shows in a row. The second, heavy rotation slot has perhaps the most possibilities, with 'Given Up,' 'Casualty,' 'Keys To The Kingdom,' and 'IGYEIH' all being performed here. 'IGYEIH' has gotten the least time in the spotlight of these all with just two (unforgettable) performances to boot so far, so we'd love to see it have more time in action! The ballad section could also feature 'Good Things Go' (which was soundchecked in Hannover) and 'Stained,' both of which we haven't seen in a few shows, either. And with a handful of other songs for the band to reach into their back pocket for ('A Place For My Head,' 'Lost In The Echo,' 'Breaking The Habit,' 'Leave Out All The Rest,' etc...), anything is really possible in Berlin! What are your guesses as to what we'll see go down for the second German show of the tour? We're still hanging onto hope for 'Unshatter' to get its debut sometime this tour to complete the From Zero live discography.

If you can get to the show early, you'll be treated to two great opening acts: grandson and Architects! grandson has sort of been a constant presence throughout this tour, opening a majority of the band's shows across the United States and Europe these past few months. Featuring classics like 'Blood // Water' to new tracks like 'Self-Immolation' and 'Bury You,' grandson's set brings a raucous, rebellious energy to start the night. Architects come in with a lot more intensity with their post-hardcore stylings, featuring a set full of new tracks from their latest record The Sky, The Earth, & All Between including 'Whiplash' and 'Blackhole,' while also finding time for older jams like 'Animals' and 'when we were young.' Both artists will deliver an epic performance to warm you up for the night, and with grandson already joining the band for 'One Step Closer,' we'd love to see Architects get in on the action as well!

Who's going to the show? Weatherman Rogue Soul happy to report we are now four for four on beautiful days for a Linkin Park concert! A hot day is ahead with a max temperature of 28°C and a low of 14°C, paired with sunny skies with some clouds around. Dress ready to jam! Linkin Park continues the From Zero European Tour with another headlining show in Bern, Switzerland on Friday before returning to the festival circuit this weekend with shows at Hellfest in France and I-Days in Italy. Next week, the band will head back to their headlining shows with immense shows in Arnhem, Netherlands and an absolutely huge show at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

We've been updating our Linkinpedia show pages over the last few weeks leading up to the tour with new features like more statistics, highlighting rotation songs, a banner at the top of the guide, and lots more, so be sure to head over there and explore what we've been up to! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already!

We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/XInstagramFacebook)!

I'm at LP in Berlin; it's my 8th LP concert, and I was also at the Dead By Sunrise, Fort Minor, and Mike Shinoda concerts in Berlin. I'm really looking forward to the concert on Wednesday. I'm excited to hear the new lineup for LP Live.

That No More Sorrow Berlin 2007 video broke the Internet at the time. The fanbase went insaaaaaaaane about that. Still remember exactly what I was doing when it got uploaded. That is one hell of a video.

It's really amazing how the German market stands out as the most economically important one for Linkin Park compared to the rest of the world. No other country comes close to Germany in that way, maybe only the United States (but it doesn't seem to offer the same level of popularity).

Since the beginning, the band has always given special attention to Germany and has always gotten great responses. The shows this year, especially the one in Berlin, are a clear example of that!

I saw some people saying they're going to the show, so make the most of it! I can't wait for the North American Tour to return in the second half of the year so I can enjoy it again!

Adding to your post, @LeonardoMF93, the Hannover comments may be the most comments numbers-wise we've ever gotten from fans about a show. They are absolutely blowing us up on social media and tagging us in stories on social media. Tons of comments - videos, photos, all of it. This is great to see. There is some serious hype about the Hannover show.

Always glad when LP is in Germany.

They didn't soundcheck anything surprising, but maybe Keys makes it in.

Unfortunately, KTTK didn't make it into the setlist, but Given Up was played instead and was also very good.

So, here's my little opinion about yesterday... I already knew it would be legendary, but the atmosphere was breathtaking! Everyone... really everyone, even those in the seats, was standing the entire concert. They were singing along so loudly... it was like last year in Hamburg! At times, I could barely hear the band, we were so loud :D

The whole band was in a great mood. It was even a bit more tense on Monday in Hanover. For example, you could tell during the fucked-up version of Numb. Mike wanted to start the song again, and everyone just kept going. It was great!
I could go on... but in short... they're hot as French fry grease again! :D

Also, the Berlin newspapers today are writing only positive things about the concert, the mood, the atmosphere... I've never experienced anything so uniform here before :P

And for your information: The lights in the roof of "my" stadium have been installed for three years. LP didn't bring that :P It was installed for the 2024 European Championship. But the effect was indescribable!
