martinez Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Fifth episode of behind the scenes from the making of the From Zero album. This episode shows the process of the making of "Casualty" track. Quote
MMM Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Another proof that I was right, that Brad is the new Rick Rubin. xD Quote
LPLStaff Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Brad is the big producer of the band for sure. Surprised at no Mike vocal footage too. Quote
DystopianBy Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) Mark Fiore spotted at 4:00 mark playing with cameras, great to see him not only behind the camera. Edited May 9 by DystopianBy Quote

LPLStaff Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Isn't he in the MTM DVD and many other shots of them in the studio? Ethan has been working with the band since 2006. He's been in a good bit of stuff. Quote
blackout Posted May 9 Posted May 9 It seems that they had a lot of fun creating Casualty. You can sense the party atmosphere when they were making the first demo of the song. So cool to observe! Quote
silverwing Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Damn, they did develop A LOT of the song in one day. This doesn't seem very usual for LP, taking many many many days to create a song. Quote
xxHybridXeroxx Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We need the extended cut with Mike tracking vocals! Lol regardless of that, this is really cool, I love this BTS stuff Quote
cjv1991 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 So Brad’s contribution to the song was ‘write something heavy’ and ‘sound scared’. The Brad-spiracy grows… Quote

The Brad-spiracy grows… that’s how producer role, in the picture. not necessary must sit infront of computer/soundboard all the time. the input is the valuable thing. Surprisingly Brad wanted the heavier stuff, something that they can jam and banging around. I wonder why they still left out THP songs from PAPERCUTS. 😂 ”ask Brad!” - Mike’s comment when ppl asked why there’s no THP songs in the compilation while Brad also asking for something heavier! JZLP-Benningstrong Posted May 10 Posted May 10 They should keep doing heavy ass stuff that's how they sound the best with this lineup plus... Look at crowds when they do Overflow, GTG, Over Each Other its like the moment to grab a bar basically there's no reaction from the crowd. THEN look at what happens when they do the heavy shit, every crowd goes wild. Quote
