Qwerty18 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Anyway ! Performance was cool. It still amazes me how close Emily's vocals are to the studio version. She really nails it. Quote
juancpin Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 I think it was on point, it wasn’t the stage to make a drum kit dive. And the fire and the trophy rising was cooooolll. Quote

I think that my statement was more likely to be the real cause of Emily's "underperformance", than your facts. In my culture is not rude to point out natural causes, like it may be in your culture. Alright, man! If you didn’t intend to be offensive, I owe you an apology. Now, if you did intend to, I hope you reconsider. About my culture, I’m Brazilian. We normalize practically everything, especially natural things. I just thought you crossed the line a bit, but again, forgive me if offending Emily wasn’t your intention. 15 minutes ago, Qwerty18 said: Anyway ! Performance was cool. It’s a very interesting situation, since Chester also always had a live performance very close to the studio version. Congrats to Mike for choosing Emily. Quote

Worst regards, Alex Name calling now? How mature... You're back-tracking doesn't change shit. If you seriously meant it as an inoffensive suggestion, you wouldn't have put the winking emoji at the end of it. 1 hour ago, bloodbath said: Where can I see the performance? I didn't meant it in any offensive way whatsoever - y'all made it to seem offensive for no reason. 😉 Edited November 3, 2024 by aaaaaaA Quote
gorast Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 (edited) Continuing to backtalk and doubling down is just digging the hole deeper. Take the L and move on, dude. I did notice that Emily was a lot stiffer here than she is during proper shows, but I don't think it's worth really dwelling on, though my first thought (since we're all offering those up here I guess) is just that it's a different environment from a concert where everyone is there to see you, different audience, so it could be a little intimidating. Not really a big deal either way, and her vocals were on point as usual - great performance, and the stage choreography was excellent, especially the trophy rising up during the bridge, lol. NimaLP Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 I'm no singer, but I think for some singers, it might be kinda' hard to go %100 when you're performing only one song. I remember even Chester didn't perform very well in some of the Awards shows performances. Nevertheless, that was such a fantastic performance. By the way, not only they should keep that intro, I think HITC should open the sets from now on. It makes more sense to me to open the shows for the new album with a song from that album instead of something from 20 years ago. Quote

You can barely hear it here but it’s at 8:13-8:14. you can hear it very audibly in the streamed version. Quote
